I own an office building on Mercantile in Beachwood. We have a 2 year ongoing warranty issue MK Roofing refuses to communicate about. After stating they likely should have not used the roofing system that they did, they also need to remove multiple rooftop units and roof under them which they never did originally leading to 2 years of roof leaks which is unacceptable as they have been paid in full for $160,000. Garbage company.

Would not recommend. Roof leaks. MK Roofing installed our roof in June of 2023. Within a year, it started leaking in multiple places. The leaks have continued through spring of 2026. We have 8-plus recurring leaks in different places in our home. Water leaking out of ceiling, down walls, through light fixtures. MK Roofing has looked at the leaks for the past year and a half. They will not fix any of them. They have told us that all of the continuing leaks are due to ice damage, advised us to contact our insurance company, and they they will not fix any leaks.

Kelly, as I stated in our call today I am very sorry about the ongoing problems that you are experiencing. I am committed to helping you get to the bottom of this and figure out how to improve insulation to help prevent the massive amounts of ice build up you have had over the last year. However, the roof has no issues and is installed to code and above. We have been out 10+ times to help with ice remediation free of charge. We arranged for an insulation expert to do an inspection after which he said there was a serious lack of insulation which is what caused the ice damns and the leaks. As you told another team member today, there is only issues in the winter when the ice is present. The leaking is not from rain or improper shingle installation. Feel free to reach out again and I would be glad to come out again with a third party to try to get to the bottom of this.

Called MK Roofing to fix a leaking roof. Salesman Nate was great and assured us they could do the work. Workers came out 3 weeks after the estimate. The roof still leaked after they tried to fix it. Called MK and Micah said he can’t guarantee the work, but agreed to come out and try again. The roof still leaks into my bedroom. :( I’m not confident at all that he or his workers know how to fix a leaking shingled roof. At this time, I would not recommend them for roofing work. If a roofing company can’t fix a leaking roof, I’m not sure who can. If anything changes, I will update my review. They did a good job on the soffit work and window flashing that we needed done and I really do appreciate that.

Thanks for your review Melissa, I am sorry that you were unhappy with the roof repair completed on your home. As stated in the signed estimate there was not a workmanship warranty due to the condition of your roof and the fact that it was only a repair requested. We did our very best to take care of the leak but with out ripping the entire section of roofing up it will be impossible to properly address the issue. We will gladly do this and provide you with a guaranteed workmanship warranty. Thankyou for your feedback.

I appreciate MK taking on a smaller repair project. A tree fell on the corner of our garage and it seemed like alot of companies just wanted to go after larger scale work. Everyone at MK was straight up good people and I am very happy to get the house back in good shape. Thanks again for your hard work!

I’ve recently had MK perform a few different projects at my home and have been really pleased with them each time. Most recently, Jake and Troy did a fantastic job replacing a bunch of old coil wrap with new Azek trim. They did a great job! Highly recommend MK!

It has been a pleasure working with MK Roofing. I started thinking about a new roof about two years ago. I met Nate and team and they gave me a quote but I wasn’t quite ready. Nate stayed in contact with me periodically to see if timing was …

MK came out and replaced the roofs on both our house and barn (metal on the house, shingles on the barn). The whole team, from estimation to completion, was courteous, professional, helpful and responsive. It's been 3 months since completion and both roofs are performing great. Thank you so much!

Thank you Tom for this review! So glad to hear the metal and the shingles are holding up, and just as glad you felt taken care of from the first estimate through the last day on site. If you ever need anything on either roof, you know where to find us. Thank you again!

We hired Ted Coblentz & his firm MK Roofing to replace our aging asphalt shingle roof with a standing seam metal roof, and the process was flawless. From the initial consultation, Ted C. thoroughly informed us on different steel gauges and coating options without any high-pressure tactics. The quote was completely transparent and highly competitive. The installation crew arrived early on the scheduled day, meticulously protected our landscaping with tarps, and worked with incredible craftsmanship. Dealing with metal roofing requires real expertise, and the attention to detail on the flashing and custom ridge caps was impressive. The end result spoke for itself. The curb appeal of our home has significantly improved. Plus, we went through a few heavy rainstorms and thanks to the high-quality underlayment they installed, the house was remarkably quiet, and we have total peace of mind knowing this roof is built to last a lifetime. If you want a contractor that is reliable, professional, and treats your home like their own, look no further than MK Roofing & Construction. Thanks guys!

Thank you Chris for taking the time to write all of this out. Two overlapping claims, hail and then an eighty foot tree on the house, is a lot to navigate! We're so glad the process felt steady from your first call through the final gutter installation. Nate will be glad to hear his patience through the claim process paid off, and we'll make sure the office team and the crews see this too. What you described, reaching a real person when you call and clean handoffs between crews, is exactly what we so hard to deliver, so thank you for mentioning that. Thank you for the offer to serve as a reference. That's about the highest compliment we can get. Enjoy the new roof and our best to you Chris, and to your wife!
