  Mitchell & Sons put a brand new roof on our home in August of 2023. We noticed a leak 2 months ago. Here we are 5 visits to our home to attempt to fix the leak and it is STILL not fixed. Now the owner is refusing to come back to our home to fix the leak. He stated that it is not the roof and not his responsibility. During this 2 month period, my husband had to take off work multiple days and we were stood up, they were no shows, and they cancelled at the last minute. Absolutely terrible customer service and it appears they know nothing about roofs. Now we have the headache of having to fight to get our 2 year old roof fixed that is under warranty!!!! UPDATE: Now we are being told that we are not covered under the warranty because it is non-transferable. We paid for the roof during the pending purchase of the home. We are listed on the notice of termination as well. All the previous owner did was pull the permit because we had not closed on the home yet.

  They responded to an Angie's inquiry, scheduled an appointment then no showed. When we called to inquire if they were going to show up, they never returned our call...it's been 3 days now.

  Complete scam company. I hired them to do my roof. Not only they did bad job but over 1 year they are promising me to come and fix it. And never show up. Completely unreliable company.

  They are very bad. They fell through my ceiling and threw stuff at my animals. I was fixing the soffits and they threw all the water bottles in there. The have me an estimate and then jacked it up 4000.00. I stepped on about 22 nails so far , that they left around. I now have 2 major leaks where they just finished. They put me off 5 times before they finally showed up. Now I can’t hat them out here to fix the leaks. Do not trust Mitchell and sons!

  It’s always a relief to find a contractor who goes the extra mile without trying to nickel-and-dime you. I had a fantastic experience with Mitchell and Sons Roofing. I contacted them to repair some missing shingles, and their estimate was very reasonable compared to others I received. They performed a full inspection and sealed up several additional crevices and potential leak points that weren't even in the original quote. They really took care of me; it’s clear they are very experienced based on my multiple conversations with them, and I can’t recommend them enough. I plan to have Mitch or Britt come out every year after hurricane season just to look over my roof, as I trust their expertise and thoroughness

  Had a great experience with Mitchell and Sons Roofing. Contacted them about a month ago and got an estimate. Called them back and said let’s do it. Within 3 days they had the permit pulled and the job completed on 2 1600 sf duplexes. They have a great crew and really did an excellent job. They put in a lot of effort to keep the job site clean. Would definitely recommend

  Overall I was very happy with the work performed. Eric listened to my concerns and picked up the phone when I called with questions. He organized and supervised a reliable crew at the site. Everything was completed on time with the quality as promised.

  Mitchell and Sons did a great job at a competitive price. The quality of my roof is great and the owner was great in accepting Zelle payments (along with the daily limits). I never felt rushed and I understood everything. I even asked a bunch more questions and they were all answered. I highly recommend this company

  I must say I was a little skeptical at first, Mitchell and Sons gave a better estimate then the other bids I received for my roof replacement. But we all know money is tight for regular people so I went with them, cant believe it. As soon as I gave them the go ahead they were ready in 2 days witch I had to postpone a few days because of my schedule, they were ready to go when I was. we had a couple days delay because of supplies and weather(we all know how the recent storms have been) but they showed up ASAP and ready to go, they Rocked it! I'm not afraid to climb up on the roof so I did a few times during the job, in witch crew leader Walter took me through the project start to finish. I am amazed at the great job they did, they fixed my leak and replaced all rotted wood and put a heavy duty roof on my house, it was a pleasure to do business with a company that takes pride in their job! I highly recommend Mitchell and Sons Roofing Sincerely Ted H Maves .

  We had gutters installed by Mitchell & Sons Roofing. Great company to work with. Reliable, on time, clean work, and they worked out a great price for us. Would recommend them for your homes upgrade needs.

  Worst experience ever with a contractor please be careful!! Hired them to replace my roof as my flat deck was leaking extremely bad!! They showed up and did the work and then demanded we pay in full before any inspections where done!! 3 weeks go by and I have to call the office and get the nice lady in there to schedule my inspections!! We had the county out here 5 times and each time they would not pass because of standing water! So mitchell and sons then hires a engineer to get involved and meanless to say they basically bought the inspection to be passed!! They lied to me about not have the material and all this to just screw me in the end!! My flat roof holds more water then ever and they say it because I spray the water up there lol!!! I am attaching photos of my flat deck 4 days after a rain storn!!storm!!! Still standing water but that's ok!!! Please don't be the fool I was and call someone else!!! Edit: Flat roof is leaking where the water is standing and they came out to honor there warranty and told me that I have a plumbing leak in my flat roof or some other issue maybe a/c condensation but the a/c is in garage and I never heard of plumbing in a flat roof!!! Something is not adding up! How about just fix the roof I paid you to please!!

  Mitchell and Sons Roofing Apologizes if we set the wrong expectations about how a low slope roof is designed to look and perform. A low slope roof is a roofing slope of 2:12 or fewer means that for every 12 horizontal inches of roof, the roof surface rises only 2 inches vertically. This is a relatively low slope; water can take longer to drain off the roof than on steeper slopes. In Florida, the speed at which water drains off a low-slope roof can be affected by several factors, including the roofing material used, the size and number of drainage points, the amount of debris on the roof, and the intensity and duration of rainfall. Pasco county code compliance never failed the installed roof; it only issued continuance, which they did due to the issue of your complaint. Based on the nature of your complaint, the county building department advised that Mitchell and Sons Roofing procure a local and reputable construction engineering firm to survey our work. The Engineer determined that the low slope roof that Mitchell and sons Roofing installed on your home more than satisfied Code (R7312), which requires positive drainage within 48 hours of precipitation. This is why the Engineer issued an affidavit signing off on the integrity of Mitchell and Sons Roofing's work. The county finding the survey satisfactory signed off on your permit.

  Unbelievable Nightmare! This guy is an absolute menace! He hunted me down on the road like a predator, trying to ram me off the highway! Then, with his crazed road rage, he tailgated me so close I could practically feel his breath on my neck. To top it off, after nearly causing a disaster, he had the audacity to flip me off, as if it was my fault! Avoid this psycho at all costs!

  I found This company through reference from a neighbor and my experience was nothing but pleased with my decision from beginning to end, they got me in the books quickly. the price was very competitive i doubled checked the materials being used everything was of good quality and had very good durability. Ryan was there for ever question via text or call. i would highly recommend this company. the advice i can give for future roof customers is know the amount of Squares your roof has thats the way to determine the correct amount of roof you need for your home. the labor and installed should be roughly the same given 10% or so for extra. with that being said very happy i have no complaints i would use them again.
