  The repaired my roof after they installed it 3 years before only to make it look like teeth repaired it, and noe I cant even call them , they take tour number, for someone to call you back and this is it . Bad business

  They replaced my roof with a new roof and I have leaks that I never had before. Called to speak with owners and they still haven't replied.

  I have already shared my experience but for some reason Google withheld the review , roof was installed in 2017 so when we bought the house it was there already. Our insurance company cancelled our insurance siting we have issue with the roof that needs to be fixed so we called in multiple times to get them to check on what the insurance sent but owner was always in a meeting and they would not schedule a visit to come and check . We still have another 5 years of material and labour warranty as per the contract but they did abide by it and we had to find another insurance. They responded via email to insurance saying all good , no problems. I do not recommend them as after service is as important as installing new roof and this is not professional nor ethical what they did to us , not sure why the high reviews. Update; Typical response from business , not owning anything, no where in our review where we said roof was leaking , insurance claimed that there is a buckling issue. We did not choose to be your customers, the house we bought had the roof installed already and we have a contract to prove it !!!!?!? Between your company and the homeowner of the house whoever that is. Based on what you are accusing people of lying? so convenient.!!!!!

  Worst company ever. I would never ever recommend them to anyone, they use subcontractors, poor quality and never answer phone. owner is the worst i ever delt with

  It is our goal to achieve a 5 star rating from every customer. However, you are not in our system as even someone we’ve done an estimate for in the last 20 years. So there may be some confusion. We did receive a call yesterday that was intended for 1st Choice Roofing located in Philadelphia in which the customer was threatening a lawsuit. Mistaken identity may be the case here as we get calls for them as well as another company with a very similar name as ours in the Brandon area. I ask that you call our office at 727-847-7663 to clarify this situation. Even if you are another company’s customer we are willing to help guide you through getting your issues resolved. If for any reason you are our customer we most definitely want to discuss you issues and take corrective action to satisfy you.

  What a major disappointment. Don't waste your time. Trying to get my aged Grandmother's roof repaired from my out of state location. Checked on Yelp for reviews and recommendations. Decided to use 1st Choice for one of my three estimates based on their reviews and ratings. Started out okay with good communications, but then rapidly deteriorated. Took several calls to reconnect after the initial contact and attempt to get someone out for an estimate. After the estimate was done (by Mike) I was given a verbal quote. I requested a written estimate from the office for my records, protection and estimate comparison. It never arrived, so I made additional calls to request that it be emailed. When the call was finally returned, it appeared the office (Kristin) didn't even know who I was or have any information regarding our previous contacts. At first she even denied that they had done the estimate. After being presented with some "specifics" from my notes she decided to consult with someone else (Mike?). Upon return to the phone she confirmed someone had done an estimate but denied they had ever given me a verbal quote for repairs. Said that they would not repair the roof and that I should only replace it. Told them that I felt it was my decision and that I would be making it based on numerous factors. I asked them to just send me the verbal quote as a written quote for both repair and replace. They refused ... I hung up. What a waste of my time. They should be called: Last Choice Roofing, not 1st Choice.

  Craig Sorry your experience was not what you expected. Not every roof is a candidate for repair. When a roof is beyond repair it’s not easy to hear but it’s the fact of the matter. I’m sure a less ethical company may be willing to repair that roof but we are not. As far as the communication goes we only enter our customers under one name. In this property’s case we were having to speak with a realtor, yourself and other relatives. I do realize that is a problem and will work on finding a software program to help us improve in that area. We realize that it is difficult for you since you are out of state and were not present when we were on site. We thank you very much for your valuable time and wish you the best of luck.

  I had high hopes for this place because of the good reviews.Asked to get a quote. They came out to look at my roof gave me said quote I told them I wanted the work done per the quote was told someone would call and schedule a time with me to do it and have heard nothing from them a week later. I will be shopping around for another roofing company.

  I had 1st choice put a new roof on my home 9 years ago. That experience with the company and the owner was great. They were competitive with a professional installation. This morning, after a hard rain all night, I discovered a small leak in the bedroom of my home. I contacted them, and they came out the same day. My roof is 9 years old and has gone through multiple tropical events; I was not expecting a warranty claim, just the service i got when they installed my roof the first time. They not only fixed the leak, but they also took care of some other issues at no cost. I even argued that they should get compensated for their time, and he cared more about me, the customer than the $$. People like this almost don't exist anymore. Thank you, 1st choice!

  1st choice roofing replaced our roof 6 months ago and..... Exceptional work. Every aspect was explained before hand. The roof came out great and we have no issues so A++++++++ outcome. There was a bit of a curve ball with their supplier putting a lien on the house but 1st Choice had nearly daily communication with me and it was resolved in a few days. I would def recommend this company to anyone who is looking for exceptional work for a really good rate.

  Highly recommend. Communication was fantastic from the time we signed the contract until the final inspection was completed. The job was started sooner than expected which was a plus. They use quality material - Owens Corning. We went with onyx black and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. The roof looks great!
