  I called Thomas Jefferson Roofing and Remodeling (TJRR) to give me an estimate on replacing some rotted wood trim pieces on my chimney as well as the Chimney Chase cap and my Chimney Cap...Also to install proper animal protection as I was having issues with birds and squirrels falling down the chimney flue and building nests. I had wrapped some steel wire mesh around it in the interim. A representative from TJRR came out, took pictures of the rotted wood trim, chimney chase and cap, we discussed what I wanted done. I told him I wanted the replacement to look exactly the same and I wanted proper animal control. He said of course. That my chimney cap was custom and could only be replaced with one just like it..."It will all be done and look just like it is but brand new..." he said and he left. A week later after asking where my estimate was I was finally given an estimate of $2700.00. It seemed high for a couple rotted trim pieces, a chimney chase and chimney cap. But my chimney cap is custom and I was told I was getting an EXACT replacement. So I agreed. I signed the estimate and sent it back...Then NOTHING for 2 weeks. Again...I REACHED OUT...TJRR apologized and said they were sending someone out the next day...2 days went by and someone finally showed up. TJRR called me 15 min before they came to the house. Thankfully I was home that day. It's then that I found out the guy who did my original estimate and was supposed to do the work quit. So these two new guys came out to "look at the job" again. They hung out on my roof for over an hour jaw-jacking and then left saying they would be back in a couple days to do the work and would call me the day before they came out. I didn't hear from anyone again for another couple weeks. When they did come out...I had no idea. They just showed up. Luckily my mother was at my home dog sitting as I was out of town for work. They (TJRR) completed the work in a few hours and then called me to inform me they were done and that

  They did horrible job they buy cheap sliding door and windows for my house they charge 7,670 for nothing I won't recommend them

  $79 inspection to confirm a leak and offer a plan for fixing. I knew where the leak was already and have now done repairs myself with $8 of roofing caulk instead of the $800 repair I was quoted. The repairman had a good demeanor and was friendly though.

  Mr. Goldey, this review is a bit confusing. Your warranty company required you to pay a $125 fee - I was able to get the fee lowered against the warranty company's policy since I feel bad that the warranty company won't cover your needs. So the $79 fee that I charged you covers the amount we charge to come and evaluate a roof leak and offer a plan to repair. Our plan to repair has never been and never will be to just caulk and seal, as that is just a temporary fix. I am happy to resend your quote that shows our plan to properly fix the issue vs just covering it up. Additionally, the warranty company may be the people you want to work with directly as we cannot override their rules for the policy you chose. With kind regards, Jama

  DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. I'm actually in utter shock and dis belief at the way my copper bay awning looks. After three attempts to repair our roof we are now in touch with the better business bureau and small claims court. And this is AFTER we finally got someone to show up, three weeks past quoted time to finish the job. I could say so much more but since there is a law suit involved all just post some pictures. Go ANYWHERE ELSE except this company! The owner Tim honestly used the words "You know we did a good job for you"! My roof is an embarrassment that is going to cost double to remove and redo!
