Knowledgeable, Skilled, Courteous, and Great Integrity are a few of the adjectives that I use to describe Mike Mixon Milledge Roofing Company. I recently suspected that I had a leaking roof when water started dripping from my ceiling, and my sister referred me to Milledge Roofing Company because they did an excellent job replacing a roof for her over a year ago. After I called them, they came out promptly and examined my roof. After completing the assessment of my roof, they determined that it wasn’t the cause of my ceiling damage; it was my leaking AC unit instead. I really appreciate the thorough attention and honest assessment of my problem, and if or when I have a roof problem, they are on my speed dial.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience Amedee! We’re thrilled to hear that your roof has held up beautifully over the past two years — especially with the tough Georgia weather we see here in Bogart, Watkinsville, and the Athens area. Proper felt paper installation is one of the most important steps in any reroof. Felt acts as a protective moisture barrier between your shingles and the OSB decking, helping prevent leaks, wood rot, and long‑term structural damage. Without quality underlayment, even new shingles can fail early. If your roof is aging or you’re unsure about the condition of your underlayment, schedule a FREE roof inspection with Milledge Roofing Company.
