Black Dog Roofing

The only one or two-star review we hold for Black Dog Roofing.

I hired them with skepticism, and boy was I right to feel that way. I had a leak on my roof and at first they were laughing at my home. After I ignored that, they were basically laughing in my face, making comments about how old my car looked and how I need a new one. After I mentioned I couldn’t afford it, they said “you’re not working hard enough then.” I am a single mother of 4 on disability and can not physically work right now! The cherry on top was when they decided to spend 2 hours doing a “permanent fix” on my roof that lasted all but 1 day and refused to come back to fix it after I called them hundreds of times. They scammed me and I hope nobody ever falls victim to them again!

Kurtis approached us after a heavy wind and hail storm about possible damage to our roof, inspected it and found damage. We notified our insurance and they worked with Black Dog Roofing company with the claim. Kurtis returned with material samples and we got to choose the best one. Rain slowed them down but we were contacted regularly on the installation day and The crew started at 6am and were finished before 5pm and the property was super cleaned up, no mess behind. Our home looks beautiful. We could not be more pleased. I would recommend Black Dog Roofing with a 5 star rating.

I highly recommend this roofing company! I contacted them (Mr. Gregory Hickman) for an independent inspection after having concerns about work that had been done by another roofing company, and I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, knowledge, and honesty. Mr. Gregory Hickman took the time to thoroughly inspect the roof, explain his findings, provide positive feedback where it was deserved, and give me helpful recommendations moving forward. I truly appreciated that Mr. Gregory Hickman were not just looking for a reason to sell me something. He gave me an honest assessment and genuinely helpful advice. In a world where it can be difficult to know who you can trust, this company definitely made a great impression on me. His professionalism, transparency, and willingness to help really stood out. If you're looking for a roofing company you can trust to give you an honest opinion and quality service, I highly recommend giving them a call! Thank you for your excellent service!

Highest praise for Black Dog Roofing, specifically Daniel Luzzi, Ross Davis, and their remarkably efficient and hardworking crew. Daniel demonstrated impeccable customer service, helped us navigate insurance, adjusters, and went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Ross was warm, professional, and communicated effectively during replacement. The crew completed the job prior to noon. Black Dog Roofing is an exemplary company!

I recently had my roof replaced by Black Dog Roofing and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Rhett Smith handled everything seamlessly, from my homeowners insurance claim all the way through to completion. He walked me through every step of the process, answered all questions and made the whole experience quite easy. They completed the job in one day, even with a huge rain delay, and the job site and my property was cleaned entirely afterward. They are fantastic!!!!

This company recently replaced our roof and we couldn’t be happier with a roofing company. They helped us through the insurance claim process, which can be confusing, and then our roof was done in one day; tear off and new roof. BJ and John were a pleasure to work with, and they kept us informed about everything. They even met the insurance adjuster at our house! I would highly recommend this company and their employee’s—BJ and John…simply the best!! Barb and Jim LeClaire, Fayetteville, GA

I live in the Reed Creek area in Hart County and I am VERY PLEASED with the service provided by Greg Hickman with Black Dog Roofing. He was quick to respond to my call. He was respectful, punctual and found the source of my problem within 10 minutes upon arrival. He also did a courtesy roof inspection using a drone. My issue ended up being my HVAC and BDR did not charge me for the inspection. Trustworthy, competent, and highly recommend!
