  Avoid Midwest Roofing & Siding! They do not know how to install new roof, siding, gutters and down spouts properly, but still expect to be paid without fixing their mistakes. I even had to metal sweep for nails because they insisted their job was done, when it wasn't. There were birds making nests between house and roof shingles. Sales person Josh, made promises he could not keep. Billing was ballooned at end of project and threats of filing lien if not paid with all insurance money even if they did not do all the work. This company does not care about customer service. This company has no integrity and a contract they don't honor. Midwest's response to this review is completely inaccurate. They continue to defend their bad contract and lies.

  The roofers themselves did a good job and worked hard , although they started earlier than the city’s noise ordinance allows . The salesman we had ( Denny was his name, he was the sales guy who came to the house, I didn’t like him at all , he was pushy and not friendly, arrogant , and when I told him we wanted white downspouts as we’ve always had , he started arguing with me and trying to get us to switch to black downspouts,, it was weird ,, it’s our house and the color selections are our decisions., then we told the Denny we wanted to not have the roof done until the following spring because our dog was very sick with cancer and I didn’t want to cause her any stress from the noise , so we said we would call and schedule after she passed . He said ok and then 2 weeks later a guy calls and leaves a message and says they are going to be dropping off shingles and starting on the roof! Denny never gave them the info that we wanted it done the following spring. I called and told them no and that my dog is sick with cancer and I’m not putting on a roof until after she’s passed . The communication is very poor with this company, I would not recommend using them,,

  They did a bad job, left me with standing water problems, and only wanted to help me (but not really after I contacted the BBB). Do yourself a favor and find another company that cares about the outcome, and not the upfront payment. Update - 8 years later. Yes, I was a customer! Maybe you should have responded 8 years ago when I posted this. I had to pay another company to fix your work and add another downspout. Poor work!

  Shopped around for quotes on attic insulation, Midwest Exteriors was the lowest bidder for the job we were looking for. We were doing this at this time for the rebates we heard the state and/or energy companies were offering. Midwest Exteriors said they'd walk us through the rebate process and that it was as simple as filling out some paperwork after the job was finished. The job ended up costing a few hundred over the initial quote (making them about the same or higher than the other companies who quoted me for a similar product/service). They didn't seal the attic hatch which was letting cold air escape into the attic. And they didn't follow up the job with an inspection from one of their field agents. All these things were agreed to, and stated that Midwest Exteriors would do in the contract and paperwork. I called them the day after they installed the insulation and asked about how we initiate the rebates, and they told me to check our energy company's website. The website stated we needed an energy audit before the work was done for us to qualify, so we were out $300 for the rebate. The reason we decided to do the insulation was because of these rebates, they stated (in the contract) they would get us the paperwork needed for it, but they failed to do so as they stated they would. I informed Midwest Exteriors about this issue and they stated they had never had any complaints about the salesman, and his story was that he told me during his initial bid that I would need an energy audit done. Which is incorrect as I learned about the audit after the job was already finished. We would not recommend using them again as they did not seem interested in taking care of us as a customer, even when I brought these issues to their attention their remedy was refunding me $2 for caulk to seal up the attic myself. And they stuck to their story that I was informed about the energy audit being necessary for the rebate. Instead of admitting to these mistakes and co

  Received a telemarketing call today from this company. I am on the do not call registry. I had to interrupt the sales person 4 times in order to get him to stop reading his script long enough for me to tell him I already have a contractor and to take me off his call list. I can see your signs in my neighborhood. I know how to use Google.I don't need you knocking on my door or calling my cell phone and interrupting my day. Not the way to gain business from me.

  Towards the end of July, 2026 I had new windows installed on my house by Midwest Roofing, Windows, & Siding. They did a tremendous job installing the windows. Unfortunately, there was a small problem with some of the windows. It is common for companies in general to advertise their great work and how they put the customer first. But when an occasional problem does arise, it is also common for companies to make excuses or to explain why they cannot or will not do anything about it. What is uncommon, is when a company steps up and takes ownership of the problem. When a small problem a arose with our new windows, this is exactly what Midwest Roofing did. They stepped up before I even brought the problem to their attention. I received a call from the project manager after the project was completed asking if I had any questions. I explained the issue and within one day I received a call that put my concerns to rest. A couple of days later, my wife noticed another small problem with some of the windows. Within a day or two, Midwest Roofing came out to the house to observe the problem and to figure out a solution. They did not make excuses, they admitted things were not quite right and were immediately addressing the problem. I did not have to hound them with phone calls to get their attention. They were on top of things right away to find a solution. Even Josh, the salesman, who has nothing to do with the installation, called me to ask if everything was ok. I have used Midwest Roofing before and I am so impressed with them. The window problem is in the process of being resolved and I have complete confidence and trust in this company to resolve the issue satisfactorily. I have so much trust in this company that I even paid the bill in-full without the problem being rectified yet.   Denny our sales representative waa fantastic. He spent the time needed to answered all of our questions where we felt comfortable moving forward with the job. Trie, the project manager had excellent communication skills. He stopped by the day before they started the job to make sure certain we all were on the same page. He stopped in while his crew was working to see if we had any questions, and once the project was completed to make certain we were satisfied. The crew did an excellent job with clean up, and our roof looks awesome! We would definitely referr them to our friends and family.
