I could not get this company to give me an estimate on my roof replacement.

Do not recommend this company or service. Work performed was NOT done properly and larger damage resulted with the the insurance company going after Matthew's Roofing for additional damages incurred.

I really wanted to use Mathew Roofing after hurricane Florence. They seem to have good reviews. My experience was that they came out and then sent me an incorrect bid for the wrong type of roof. They said they would have to come out again. I called and waited over a month. When I called the office she apologized profusely and said she would make sure someone called me the next day...I never heard from her again. I called them a total of 4 times. Each time they were nice and made promises but nothing happened. I understand this was a busy time for them but 3 months later I have still not heard from them and I have a new roof from someone else. It’s short sighted on their part—they have tons of business right now—but later if Something happens and I need a new roof I will definitely NEVER call Mathews...too undependable!

I am so sorry about this. When these hurricanes or hail storms hit, we are just a small family owned company and do not have the enough employees to keep up with that kind of work. I am so sorry you got lost in the shuffle. We do the best we can and unfortunately, some people get lost in the shuffle. My apologies again!

The Matthews Roofing team is phenomenal! We needed some work done to correct some issues on a recent addition, and are thrilled by the quality work that Gary and team did on our project. They corrected some troublesome shingle work and added flashing to our porch roof. The job was done quickly, professionally, and reasonably priced. Good local small business!

I called Gary right after getting approved for a new roof, he was at my house with in a hour. The work was performed in less than a week. The work was performed perfectly, clean up was excellent ( I couldn't find a single roofing nail ). Thank you for excellent and timely work from start to finish

Our roof was badly damaged during a hail storm. Gary and his crew did an excellent job replacing our roof. He also helped us deal with the Insurance Co. Gary will definitely go the extra mile to assure that you are completely satisfied.

Matthews Roofing recently replaced the roof on a house we've decided to sell - the architectural shingles and ridge vent are terrific. They brought Shane Wilson in to replace the gutters and they are excellent! We couldn't have asked for, or expected better service. The bid was reasonable, we agreed on the date, and the team showed up on time and did a great job - and left the site clean. Highly Recommend. [This was our first home in NC and we came to find out that Gary had done the original roof in 1995 - it's held up well - even during Fran!] Thanks guys.
