  My experience with Matthews Home Improvement for siding installation has been disappointing and frustrating. Initially quoted $16,200, I ended up paying $19,200 after an unexpected $3,000 charge for repairing rotten wood. The project took roughly 39 days to complete. The most significant issue arose when the siding began coming off less than a year after installation in January 2024. Despite their contract promising a 4-year labor warranty, which should cover such issues, Matthews Home Improvement has failed to honor their commitment. They have repeatedly promised to fix the problem but have not followed through. October 2024 I had to find another company come out to fix the problem. This lack of responsiveness and failure to uphold their warranty obligations is completely unacceptable. It reflects poorly on their integrity and professionalism. More of my siding is slowly coming off and it is looking like I will have to find another contractor to fix my new siding. I regretfully advise others to approach Matthews Home Improvement with caution, especially if reliability and customer service are priorities for your project.

  If I could give less stars I would. 1 month since work started, and we were still left with a rotten roof and out 10k. He's already got theft by deception charges prior to us... Don't be the next victim

  Mathews the owner is a dishonest man . He is unreliable and non trustworthy. If he can scam a person for lousy 60 dollars on facebook market place. He could do this to a person who will hire him as contractor. …

  Mathews Home Improvement did the roof on my garage. I was concerned because there is a inground pool next to it. He did a great job making sure there was nothing dropped in or near pool. Great price and was done within a week of initial contact.

  They did my new metal roof and plastic siding! Very professional and very nice, friendly workers! Would recommend! I was very pleased!

  I had an easy roof to install, went with a metal roof. Everything was responsive and on time. Start to finish from initial engagement was 2 weeks and roof was done in a day and a half. Good quality and in person representation durring the bidding process was also extremely appreciated.

  Pete is a really good honest guy.. We got brand new siding and it turned out beautiful... We got exactly what was discussed, his communication is above every one else, top notch customer support.. I highly recommend him, im very picky and they exceeded my expectations

  I had my gutters installed on March 10th, below is just a few observations from the install. Pros: 1) Initially the communication was great, from initial contact until the project was over the owner would have answers for me within an hour, . 2) The project was completed within a couple days and within the budget agreed upon. 3) During gutter installation there was an accident where the Radon exhaust was broken and they replaced it no charge. Cons: 1) Downspouts went straight down towards foundation instead of leading water away from house. Eventually replaced these myself as been told for a few weeks that they would be out to replace them. 2) Scraps of metal from the old gutter hangers to scraps of cut gutter were found in the grass.
