  I used this company in 2019 and started noticing shingle issues last year. There is supposed to be a 10 year warranty. I left messages and sent emails but no response. I had my roof examined today and found out that Markham Roofing never removed the old shingles! They just applied shingles on top of the old ones. As a result, there is no adhesion at all and the wind can lift the current shingles. There are other issues but you get the idea. So, now I have to get a whole new set of shingles on my roof. I do not recommend this company.

  Roof was done by this company about 4 years ago. Garage roof started leaking early this year 2024. I called Conrad who promised to come. The he blocked my calls and never came. This is the worst contractor that I have ever encountered. Conrad is a phony guy. Never trust him.. Beware!!

  Just to be aware of this company they dont have any cometment and warranty to thier work after if its done!!!!After several months, defects appeared in the work, and the company was contacted more than once to carry out the repair, but they did not respond, which harmed us in carrying out the repair and paying the repair costs.

  Conrad is a crazy man. He says he will do things but doesn't follow up. Don't trust him with your roof. It's a waste of money and time.

  Conrad is a phony non professional & non responsive person. He is willing to come out right away and do work, collect his money, But never follows thru with what comes out of his mouth. He says he will send a receipt and warranty to you. Yet its been a week and still waiting. We called him to have him come out and look at the deficiency of the job, He has promised to come out three times, and has not shown up. Excuses after Excuses/ Lies. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY....

  Hi Christine, thank you for reaching out! Throughout this entire process we dealt with your husband. During the process of fixing the roof, your husband communicated that we needed to use black caulking on the job. We reiterated that we didn't have that on us and we would come back the next day. Your husband insisted due to fear that if it rained it would leak through the roof. We told him that the only thing we had was brown caulking, which he agreed to, we applied that to the roof. After we had finished he proceeded to pay us for the job that was done. The next day he called us to complain that we did a brown caulking when we had already agreed to, showed what was done and finalized payment the day before. After offering to come back, he threatened our staff and made us feel unsafe. Btw not to mention the racist and insensitive comments that your husband made in French while we were working assuming that our crew did not understand what he was saying.   If I had to give a zero to this company, I would. Conrad is a liar, non-professional & not responsive. I got my roof replaced. Material used was sub-standard, not what was on the quotation. Therefore he refused to give the warranty papers after the work was completed & payment made. Never pay this guy the complete amount, until he hands you over the receipt and the warranty papers. Never responds to your calls after the work is done. Very bad after sales service. Run away from this company as far as you can. They go with the names Markham Roofing & Alpine Roofing. I will never recommend them to anyone. After they did my roof, people in my neighbourhood asked me about them, I said to them "don't use them". Do not use them and in case you have to use them, make sure not to pay them in full, unless you receive all the receipt & the warranty papers. Keep some balance amount.

  Very poor service. Was supposed to refund me $150 for plywood damaged due to the nail gun but has been ignoring my calls since September, it is now January.

  My roof was replaced in 2019. There is some water marks on the ceiling and request Conrad to inspect again. He said yes and after I calling him for several times and no response. Warranty - questionable.

  Five stars for Conrad and his team in replacing a skylight and repairing shingles surrounding the area that were broken. This company from the start always kept in touch due to the weather to pick the most suitable time to do this repair. Right through the repair process sent me pictures / progress and finished product . Conrad was very respectful and polite. I would definitely use this company again for future work. Thank you .

  I’ve been working with Conrad for the last couple of years, I found him thru an online recommendation and every time we had a bad wind storm that blew my shingles away, he came by as promised and patched them up. After the bad storm we had last week, and losing more shingles, we decided to replace our entire roof. Throughout the entire process, Conrad kept me informed, advised of any delays, took before and after photos explaining what they were doing, recommended additional ventilators and the benefits of them (Noticed all our neighbours who recently had their roofs redone had them installed to help with condensation in the attic of these older homes). He was on-site all day. He was respectful, open, and honestly a pleasure to deal with. All the work was completed in one day, and got all my receipts at the same time payment was done. I highly recommend him!

  Found Conrad online and he was quick and professional with responses. During the whole installation processes they were transparent, offered genuine feedback on areas that didn't and did need help and went over and beyond to ensure I saved as much money while maximizing the best quality for my roof. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

  So where do l start, l am from London Ont and just bought a rental property. I made several calls to local roofers and the cheapest quote l got was $9000 plus hst. So l decided to go on Kijiji and expand my search to as far as Toronto and found a company call Markham roofing. I call them up and talk to Conrad a l have him my address and in less then 10mins he had a quote for me that was less then $5000 tax in. Conrad was so professional and awnsered all my questions. This was Friday September 3 2021 and he booked my roof for Friday September 10 2021. His crew showed up on time and in less then 6 hours my roof was done. I would recommend Markham roofing and Conrad and his crew to anyone. Good job guys and hope to work with you in future jobs.

  Can't say enough about Conrad and Markham Roofing. They came and ripped off my old shingles, cleaned up everything and did an awesome job on my roof. Job was done on time and the roof looks spectacular. My only comment would be about the newer Roof Louvre Vents that were installed. They are $250 each with installation and they really weren't mentioned until my roof was off and then I was made aware that I needed these. I did have condensation on one side of my roof, so I ended up getting 4 of the newer taller Louvre Vents. It is what it is. It was extra money, but probably better to spend the money now than have a bigger problem later. Ask about the newer roof vents ahead of time and if they are extra. Conrad was flexible with payment and like I said, his team did an amazing job

  Extremely happy with the service provided by Markham Roofing Services. They did a fantastic job and their price is literally unbeatable (some quotes from roofers were more than double what they offer). Good quality material and excellent warranty. Conrad was extremely professional from the point of providing me a quote onwards and him and his team did a great job, thank you Conrad & team! I will definitely be referring Markham Roofing Services to friends and Family and assure that anyone that choses these guys will not regret it.

  Got the job done, efficient, professional and did a great job. Conrad walked us through the entire process of installing a new roof. He also send videos to us via Whatsapp so we could see how the work was progressing throughout the day. After, he explained the excellent warranty to us and the roof looks great. Great price as well. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking to install or repair a roof.

  They replaced my roof. I used them based on my neighbour who had theirs done. Conrad’s sister works for my neighbour so I figured I wouldn’t have an issue. They replaced the roof, all seems ok. They leaked engine oil all over my driveway. I have been trying to get Conrad to come and clean but he will not return my call. The only time you see him is to collect the cash after the job is done. I don’t know how good the roof job is but their service and communication is non existent. If something goes wrong you will never hear from them. I was very disappointed to say the least and would not use them again.
