  Literally the worst contractor experience of my life. Hired Mike Simon / Simon's Metal Roofing to install a metal roof on my home in 2021. Three weeks and many excuses into the install the roof was only half-done, Spring wind & rain season started, parts blew off the roof and rain poured through the unfinished roof into the house. After numerous trips to the attic to empty buckets & replace towels I fell through the attic onto the garage floor, broke my hip in five places, and severed the nerve to my bladder requiring catheters to urinate for the rest of my life. Consulted two lawyers who both said under TN law it was partially my own fault for going into the attic and I probably wouldn't prevail in court or win any damages from a small-time contractor. Throughout the process Mike had many many excuses - nothing was ever his fault, his truck broke down, his phone wasn't working, he's only one man, he got into a fight, he never heard of me, this never happened - but I assure you this really happened, I have a two-inch stack of date-stamped pictures, emails, texts, medical reports, insurance claims, attorney consultations, many many bills, etc. Their M&M Metal Roofing website even has pictures of them working on our house. Needless to say I don't recommend you let Mike Simon anywhere near your home or your family for anything.

  I am only one person .I do stand behind my work ,but people have to allow me to do my job understand I can't jump when they say to jump.Then tell me I'm not allowed on the property because I didn't show up at a certain time .You won't let me do my job .

  I apologize,I will take care of everything,I had very bad motorcycle wreck and my phone was broke I just got it back on and home .I will make everything right.

  By far the worst/most unprofessional business. Called out to repair a small leak we had, was out twice and only made it worse. Mike was extremely unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable as he went on to tell me his messed up life’s story about how he married his stepmom and proceeded to tell me that if I was to ever get bored I could give him a call( if you get my drift). He had another job he had to leave for and was procrastinating leaving, just hung around. At the time I was home alone with the kids and was just so uncomfortable by his behavior. Since this incident took place mike has ignored our phone calls/texts. I wouldn’t recommend mike to fix my chickens shed. May I also add the insurance fraud he tried having us commit. Told us that with the next storm he would come out, rip up some shingles and write up a report stating wind damage and send it into the insurance company. He’s shady to say the least. He denies any of this happen of course, if I was computer savvy I’d upload the surveillance feed we have of him saying/doing the things listed above.

  Within days pieces of their sloppy work came loose. I notified them and sent pictures. No response for two months. Would never use them for anything again.

  I have to say I was happy with how quick they came out to do the job, but after that we were very unhappy. Promises were made and where not kept. We were told we would not have to pay till we were happy with the work , well Friday came and they wanted to pay there workers before the bank closed. So, we thought we would help out and write the check, as we inspected we had some concerns and was promised it would be fixed the next day. After they left that day we haven't seen them since! We did receive some texts with, something "broke down" and "I didn't forget about you ". It's been 2 weeks! A promise is a promise in my book. After getting on a ladder and taking closer look at the work, we found the kind of work you see in the photos. Photos speak a thousand words. If you go with this company beware! We would not recommend them.

  Well my truck blew up.And I told I'm coming when I'm able too .You obviously don't understand that stuff happens .I will be there to make sure everything your not happy with will be fixed the way you want it.

  Michael Simon repaired my roof after a botched job by a previous “roofer”. The previous person obviously did not know what they were doing and my roof leaked every time it rained.

  My old tobacco barn had wind damage to the roof and I contacted Mike Simon through Facebook community page. His quick reply allowed for work to be done same day. The old roof needed a few other repairs which were priced reasonably and the work is scheduled to be done. Nice guy, reasonable pricing,very punctual. Highly recommend

  We called Mike on a Saturday evening to come out and fix a roof truss in our attic. We were moving out of state and received the buyers' home inspection addendum that evening requesting that the truss be fixed, so we needed someone to come out right away. Mike and his wife were able to come to our house a couple of hours after we contacted them and fixed the truss, so their initial response time is quick. As far as we could tell, he did a quality job. They were supposed to send us the pictures and invoice, so that we could send those to our realtor as proof that the job was complete, but it took them several days of my husband, myself and our realtor contacting them before we received the pictures and invoice.

  Mike was prompt to give us a reasonable quote & ultimately did more than we agreed on the job & graciously negotiated the price in our favor. The roof installation was completed beautifully but done slowly, so if you want quality, workmanship, thorough, and reasonably priced, then this is your man (just be patient 'cause he's on 'Mike' time). Besides this, he & his team are a pleasure to work with & very friendly. He & his team got the work done and decent quality and were super kind to us. Also, they promised to come back anytime to fix their work if needed but everything is great!

  Mike and Traci are a dynamic duo that do quality work in difficult circumstances. Both are on the roof doing all the necessary tasks to complete the job. They had one additional worker who was also skilled. Got here on Friday around 11 am in 30 degree temperature and worked to about 5 pm. Returned the next day around noon ( it was 20 degrees at 8 am) to complete the job by 6 pm. Everything was done with excellent quality. You can’t go wrong with Simons metal Roofing.very pleasant to work with. Highly recommend. This an update. A week after installation we had rain that leaked in two l places. Got hold of Mike. He came out in two days and worked on the roof. Today we had 1.5 inches of rain and no leaks. Mike stood behind his workmanship.
