  We had some hail damage from the storm last year and the eam bolt came out to assess the situation. Got an adjuster out here and gave us a quote of how much it was going to be to fix the roof and the other little things that need to be fixed. We were told that the number and that we probably might get $1,000 to $1,500 to back. They came out they did the roof. Beautiful job on the roof. I can't complain about the roof at all. Love the color. I love the downspouts that they did but we are now having issues with. They want us to pay them another $1,500 because they're saying that we were misquoted. I would definitely not recommend using them because they're all over the place. They're telling us that things were done when they weren't done. They have not completed everything. My husband is in talks now with the company but I am overall not satisfied with the company itself. I love the contract that did the roof but not anything else. I would just be very wary and make sure you get stuff in writing so you have something to back up on. Also throughout the past few weeks we have found strips of new nails that went into nail guns all over the yard. Thank God my grandson was not out there and stepped her any or I stepped on any. It was very not professional with the way they left nails all over the yard. I'm just thankful no one got hurt from that. I will say that Jessica has been amazing helping us out with some issues.

  The worst thing, beyond the empty promises and the delays (it was in the aftermath of Helene) was the guys they sent to do the work left before actually completing it and took $3,000 from me before they disappeared. I tried contacting lightning bolt but they said its my fault for trusting their workers. Now they pretend like it has nothing to do with them. Is that the kind ofplace you want working on your house, sending people to rob you just to then say its your fault?? Just a bad overall experience for us

  Mr. Kincaid I apologize that you chose to do work outside of Lightning Bolt Roofing, but that has nothing to do with our company at all. You need to reach the contractor that you chose outside of Lightning Bolt Roofing to do your work.

  They knock in my door to give me an estimate. Got the information. But I told them I didn’t have insurance, I guess they only work with insurance company. It’s just an absurd to think just because it’s humble home, I wouldn’t have the money to afford to fix my roof. Very judgmental and unprofessional.

  They did work without my approval and while I was not at home and now they are charging me hundreds of dollars for it. They also left several nails in my driveway. They are rude people and I do not recommend this company.

  We apologize as we weren’t able to reach you by phone, as we did send messages and the totals. We do have direct information on all our agreements so that homeowners understand any additional cost. As for nails at times the nails can get stuck in high grass, bushes, mulch that sometimes they can’t see. We will give you a credit for the troubles of finding nails. We appreciate your time for your review. As we try to work harder in resolving any issues over time.

  This company replaced my roof and gutters a little less than a year ago. During one of the downpours we had recently water was running behind the gutters over the ends. I called they came out and said my gutters were stopped up and I had rotten wood under the shingles That’s after calling several times and being told they would call me back, they never call back. Keep in mind it’s been less than a year. Then they tried to get me to hire them to put gutter guards on. I’ll probably put gutter guards on but it will not be this company doing the work. Do yourself a favor and get someone else

  Someone that works there felt it was appropriate to leave their card at my door at my house, on MY property. Completely rude and unprofessional, especially since it is my skylight leaking, NOT my roof!!!! I know who I will NOT call when I need a new roof. The audacity to think they had a right to come on my property and leave their business card?!??! Next time I will press charges for trespassing! In response to the owners answer- Go solicit business elsewhere!!!! Going on someone elses private property is unprofessional and RUDE!!!! Just because your company did work somewhere in this neighborhood BY NO MEANS GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO COME ON PRIVATE PROPERTY AND LEAVE YOUR CARD!!!! TRESPASSING AND SOLICITING ON PRIVATE PROPERTY UNINVITED! IT IS BECAUSE OF SELF ENTITLED PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT PEOPLE HAVE TO PUT UP "NO TRESPASSING" AND "NO SOLICITING" SIGNS! By the way, there are NO TRESPASSING signs on my property, 2 of them, so I could rightfully press charges.

  Ma'am, we aren't aware of anything wrong with your roof until inspected. As we've done work in your neighborhood and one of our reps must have been in the area and they leave cards as a curtesy to those who may need our help, looking for someone or may want to have their roof looked at before winter months.

  Scheduled an appointment for inspection. I was told that someone would get back to me. No one did. Called back again. They apologized for the delay. And said someone will reach out to me. Again no one did. Stay away from this business.

  Con artist/scammer. Lied about storm damage. Neighbor says they “vandalized” my roof in order to file a fraudulent insurance claim.

  I had several roofing companies quote my roof, and Salvadore was the only one that actually walked up on it and inspected it. He discovered a pipe that had fallen through, leaving a gaping hole for water to get in (for who knows how long), and hail damage that no other contractor found. He was attentive, responsive, answered all my questions, honest, and professional. He worked well with my insurance company to get the job done quickly.... this was for roofing and siding. What a facelift for my house. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.

  Lightening Bolt Roofing repaired our family room after a Roto Rooter plumber broke a pipe & flooded the ceiling , floor & crawlspace. They did an amazing job. The whole area looks like new. I would call them again if I need indoor or outdoor repairs.

  All of the support staff were very helpful explaining the process leading up to the replacement. The work crew were also extremely fast; my roof is fairly small, but the entire project was finished before I returned home from a 5 hour shift. Not a shingle or piece of garbage left on the ground, and no damage to my property. Would reccommend.

  I knew I was needing a new roof and was dreading the whole process. Wannis saw the condition of my roof and caught me outside one day and stopped in to tell me about his company and their services. I am typically very wary of anyone I don’t know or who isn’t recommended to me by someone I know but Wannis won me over almost immediately. He’s knowledgeable, polite and respectful and carries himself in a way that leaves no doubt as to how trustworthy he is. He worked directly with my insurance company and achieved a better outcome than I could have imagined. The work was performed in a day and that even included resolving an issue that arose with my security cameras. The finished product is stunning. My home looks better now than when it was brand new. I am very pleased with Lighting Bolt Roofing.

  It was a quick and painless process in getting a new roof! From the adjuster to installers and everything in between. We are thankful to have an updated roof and we are pleased with how it turned out.

  We recently had Lightning Bolt Roofing replace our roof. We highly recommend this company! They were easy to work with and did an amazing job on our roof. We found very minimal nails afterwards. They cleaned up very good. They had everything done in one day. The ladies at the office are very helpful and friendly.

  I highly recommend this company. We had storm damage to our roof and was a major concern, but this company assured me that they would take care of everything and walk me through each process the whole time. This company was very punctual, professional, and did a great job from the salesman, roofers, and the office staff. Our roof looks amazing now and they also did a great job cleaning up after . I can’t thank this company enough.
