  Be careful if you’re receiving an estimate from Jake Jerles. I don’t think he knows what he’s doing and his lack of expertise is costing me more money than needed. My realtors had him come out to provide us an estimate on an active leak along with a general roof inspection. In his review (he didn’t even get on the roof until we asked him to) he concluded the roof was still in decent shape and only needed one repair. Once the crew was out completing the repair, the more diligent workers found additional rotten wood that they “found by placing the ladder in a specific area.” I’m extremely disappointed with my decision and hope this review helps others looking for a decent roofing professional. Make sure you’re getting a second opinion if you’re getting an estimate from this weary fellow.

We aim to provide as comprehensive of a roof inspection as possible, but there still are occasions when we sometimes may miss an area in need of repair during our initial inspection. As part of our repair process, we conduct an additional inspection to identify any other potential issues. It was during this second inspection that we uncovered the additional area of need on this project. We are glad that we found it and were able to give the buyer the confidence that both of those areas are now repaired and that the roof has improved integrity. We appreciate that the additional cost was unexpected, but the repair was necessary to resolve and are glad that our process found it nonetheless.

  Elite Solar and Roofing installed GAF UHDZ roofing shingles on our home. Experience from proposal to clean up was exceptional. Jake Jeries was project manager. Professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Explained how process from start to finish would go, explained product options. Amanda and Joey in customer service were a pleasure to work with. The entire team treated me as a valued customer. Proposal was straight forward easy to understand. Highly recommend Elite Solar and roofing of Davidson, NC

  Elite Roof and Solar was so easy to work with. They were prompt for both the estimate appointment and for the actual gutter replacement . The workers were efficient and respectful of my property. They cleaned up after the job was finished.

  Elite Roof and Solar are a stellar company. I had 3 inspections and quotes from other companies. Elite came in lower and came across as far more knowledgeable than the others. They didn't try to do a Sell. They didn't show up expecting to close a deal. They turned around a quote within 24 hours, along with a contract proposal that was easy to understand. (Note to anyone looking for a roof or any other major purchase - Don't ever trust a guy with a tablet to sign a contract. You will be ripped off.) Elite did not pressure me to sign anything or demand an answer on whether I would use them or not. They did follow up with me in a reasonable amount of time and were a pleasure to communicate with. They waited on me to obtain my own financing (although they do offer options.) I never felt pressured. I was emailed a variety of colors and styles from which to choose with actual houses in the pictures, so that I could tell what the shingles would look like in the wild. The warranties and guarantees covered the shingles, as well as the workmanship and it was clear that I would not be ripped off. (This was not my first rodeo. I've been burned before.) The work crew showed up bright and early on the expected day and were done by mid afternoon. They cleaned up and hauled off everything. AND when the bill came in, there were no surprises. I can't recommend Elite Roof and Solar enough. Thanks to Andy and the rest of the group. You all are terrific!

  Working with Elite Roof and Solar has been an A+ experience from start to finish. One of the first things I appreciated was how easy it was to reach a real person when I called the company. These days, many businesses rely on automated systems and AI bots, it was refreshing to speak directly with someone who could help me right away. When shingles are falling off my roof, I want prompt, straightforward assistance—not unnecessary delays. Jake Jerles has proven to be knowledgeable, trustworthy, reliable, and an absolute pleasure to work with. He provided a quote to replace my roof in less than 24 hours and took the time to thoroughly explain the process, review my options, and answer all of my questions. His guidance made it easy for me to make an informed decision and move forward with confidence. I don't live near the property where the work was being performed, Jake proactively sent me photos before, during, and after the project was completed.   I inspected my new roof from the attic this morning, during a pouring rain. I was so relieved that all prior leaks in the dormers were dry. I'd trust this company any day.

  I just wanted to share my fantastic experience with Elite Roofing and Solar. They are GAF Elite Installers and members of the GAF President’s Club. The team was professional, punctual, and incredibly detail-oriented. Jake, the project manager, was outstanding, answering all my questions. From the time I signed the contract, I had a new roof in just two days. I also chose the 50-year Golden Pledge Warranty, and I’m thrilled with it. They installed GAF UHDZ Class 4 shingles, along with all new drip edges, dryer vents, vent pipes, and accessories. If you let your home owners insurance know that you have class 4 impact resistance shingles you might get additional savings on your premiums. I got four different quotes, and nobody could come close to them as far as quality/price. We have about 50 homes in my neighborhood, most of them have a new roofs and i noticed only one more house has a drip edge installed. My roof looks incredible, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work.

  Elite Roofing took care of a few areas that experienced water leakage. Initially we had a site visit by supervisor Jake. He was through by checking out the entire roof. With photos he highlighted problem areas. A good report on the needs and a clear break out of repair and costs. The repairmen, Eugene, was excellent. Arrived on time, gave me a progress report half way thru and then again at conclusion of the work. Overall very easy to work with the company personnel and that includes the office staff. Would recommend them for any roof work.
