  I’m writing this to show my frustration and disappointment with the repeated issues with the corner of my dormer leaking. I initially had a good experience when Lewis Walker Roofing when they replaced my entire roof in 2017, but 5 years later one of my dormers was leaking water through to my ceiling, they came out and fixed the leak and a year later it started leaking again. Now in 2025 it’s leaking again in the same spot. After spending several thousand dollars for one spot in my roof, I’m going with a different company this year.

  Contacted Mr Walker regarding my roof. Didn’t fully understand how roofing process worked. Trusted that the process would work out. Dissatisfied with the outcome. Requested that the soffits be replaced which were not, not listed in the contract. Wood that should have been replaced was not, received charges for wood that was replaced. Had a pm come out and see the spot and agreed it was a horrible piece that was left. Code allows for a 2x2 section, could have placed bigger section. Thought I paid a premium for quality got the bare less than the minimum quality. Definitely going another company next time. Had a 5 year warranty but do not want them near any property of mine again.

  Had them install metal roof over shingled roof. My shingle roof was properly vented all along the center ridge cap. They removed my vented cap and installed a metal cap with it wide open where blowing rain and mud dobbers entered my attic the entire length of my house and creating mold. I told them they can’t leave it wide open so they said their only option was to close off with solid foam strips under the cap. Now I have inadequate ventilation and more mold. I will be purchasing the vent foam they should have installed under the cap in the first place for a few hundred bucks and will start spraying the entire attic to try to kill the mold. Already paid $12k to have new A/C ventilation insulation installed since it was all wet before they closed it off. I also had to have them come out and fix an area that was holding water like a bath tub right on a seam and leaking on my dining room table and they were just wanting to put more calk on it but talked the guy into fixing it the correct way. Attic was perfect for 20 years until this metal roof fiasco.

  Find a different roofing company. Poor communication, multiple pricing changes throughout the process, untrustworthy and lack of follow through.

  I called them to get an estimate for a new roof after Hurricane Idalia, but they never called me. A week after my new roof was finished, Lewis Walker Roofing sent an email wanting to give me an estimate!! A little late, right? Doesn't seem very dependable to me.

  To say this company and their subcontractors are mediocre is being generous. You better look everything over with a drone or get up on the roof to check it thoroughly. It seems I find flaws in my roof every couple of weeks, just poor craftsmanship.

  They took 2 months longer than originally quoted after collecting half my money up front for a chimney reflash and changed the install date several times. This was their idea of their “color match” of my shingles. My insurance agent asked “which friend of mine did the roof” and couldn’t believe this was a licensed company. UPDATE: After 1.5 years the flashing is leaking again. According to the roofer who came to inspect, the wrong silicone was used to caulk above.

  Very pleased with Lewis Walker Roofing! We appreciated the care given throughout the whole process and the quality of the work was excellent. The construction manager, Dylan, was very attentive and was easy to contact whenever we had questions. If I could give a 10 star rating I certainly would. I highly recommend for any roofing needs!!

  This company is amazing. From the initial inspection to the people in the office to the work crew that fixed the roof. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Plus, when they said that they would call you they did. Wish I had know about this company when we had a new roof installed after one of the hurricanes. Would definitely would recommend it his company.

  Lewis Walker Roofing did a great job on my metal roof and did it a very reasonable price. Dylan communicated though out job from signing the contract to final inspection. It only took about a week once I signed the contract to complete my roof and the crew left my yard better than they found it. Definitely recommend.

  100% recommend for any roofing and repair services. Dillon provided excellent customer service, he was very respectful, patient and kind when explaining the process to my father Charlie Tomlin and what to expect from beginning to end. Our experience was truly painless at a very reasonable price.

  Best price with several quotes received locally. Friend used them as well and had a good experience . Very good communication from office staff with scheduling - work crew was there early every day and worked late to get job done in timely manner. When job was done - everything was clean and picked up. Good experience for me. **Went with metal and love it!
