  I had tried to get an estimate & told them every time I spoke to them that I needed to be home & to please let me know when they were coming by only to come home one evening & find a note saying they couldn’t/wouldn’t touch my roof. I’m SOOOO happy I didn’t use this company!! Patriot Roofing is where I ultimately went & I would HIGHLY recommend them as they’re communication skills are better & they actually listen to their customers. It’s nice to be heard when you’re dropping over ten grand.

Might you kindly provide your name, or address, or a photo of "the note" left at your home? JADA Roofing has a very specific method of communicating. In the event a potential client isn't home upon our arrival, the only thing we would leave on the premises is a business card to establish our presence onsite. There have certainly been instances when JADA Roofing wasn't the right contractor for a particular project. However, our process in which we handle that occasional scenario is to provide two quality referrals to other excellent roofers. Additionally, we know the owners of Patriot Roofing personally and agree that they are a great Roofing Contractor. We are professional, small business, colleagues who are happy to support one another's businesses. We believe JADA Roofing may have accidentally been mistaken for someone else.   I reached out to Jada as they had replaced part of the roof on the home I bought and was having trouble with from the previous owners. They said they could come out to give an estimate and would set up a date/time as I requested to be present because there was a tarp on it and wanted to speak with them at the time. A representative showed up to the home the following week while I was at work, without notice or consent, and without contacting me or attempting to. He took advantage of my elderly grandfather (88 years old) who does not speak English very well to let him on the roof. He then removed the tarp that had been placed to secure the leak which was very expensive to install. When I called to discuss this the owner Dawn Mcarthy became terse with me and repeatedly said "well what do you want?" .. Not once did she apologize and made it appear that it was actually my fault and that I should have expected someone to come at any time. She hung up the phone on me at the end of the conversation. When I called back to receive info. on the company lawyer that she said I could contact she didn't want to provide her last name and said "well it's on my email".... My roof is still leaking and I have not been able to secure the tarp as it was put on. This company did something illegal as entering property without consent of the homeowner and moving property makes them liable. I would use this company with caution. Furthermore, there has been a lot of issues with the roof they installed on my home in 2018.

  *** Let it be KNOWN that the previous homeowners (who are actual JADA Roofing clients) left us a FIVE STAR review on the “portion” of their roof that they hired us to complete…which is NOT the portion of the roof that Mr. Garcia is referencing as having issues. *** ** Notes from the Duval County Building Department: Flat roof is NOT in the scope of work. 3/26/2018 1:33:39 PM The inspection status has changed from SCHEDULED to PASS. ** Mr. Garcia, initially my client liaison Ashley was doing her very best to assist you. With all due respect, your hostile tone and accusatory assertions made her so incredibly uncomfortable that she had to summons me in to assume the call. I first introduced myself and simply requested some additional information from you to better serve your need. Instantly you began accusing JADA Roofing of lying about being on your property, damaging your tarp, and causing issues on your roof. Typically, when you contact a roofing company to request a FREE roof inspection…that’s what you expect a roofing company to do…inspect your roof. I asked you for the best number to reach you back at as I would have to investigate which of my team members performed your inspection. Within just a few minutes I found everything I was looking for. I emailed you the photos and advised you that I would promptly call you back to discuss. You blatantly cut me off a multitude of times as I tried to explain that the gentleman who completed the inspection first knocked on the front door to alert the homeowner of his presence on the property and attain permission to access the roof of which your grandfather fully authorized him to do. He pulled back only a corner portion of the tarp which had been previously “secured” with cinderblocks by someone else (as displayed in the photos provided).   Had a Jada roofing employee simply toss the shingles in my yard, and leave. The least you can do is put them in a trash can! Have some respect for people’s homes.

  JADA Roofing installed my roof in 2017. I recently thought my roof was leaking, but it turned out to be my HVAC ductwork. They provided excellent customer service, and came right out to inspect the roof even though it had been a few years since installation. I was impressed by the tech's knowledge, professionalism, and especially with JADA's quick response to my request. They can count on me as a return customer for my roofing needs. After several years, my roof is still in great shape.
