  I had my Leafguard gutter —the one you forget about (hahahah)—came down in the medium rainstorm this week. I bought our house w/ them already installed. I will be taking them all down soon, redoing the facia, then the gutters (repaired, sealed & PAINTED them as they are so ugly & the new models are so over-priced). No replacements due to the extreme cost. The reason I am writing is the install (done a while ago —obviously NOT SUPERVISED) by Byers was SO POOR the gutter had no chance of staying up. The screws were not in the facia —only the composite wood shims made to set them plumb. There was a complete breakdown during the install process. So if you have any issues w/ your gutters —I can fix them. I KNOW HOW.

  The installation team arrived punctual and did a walk around to show what has to be done. Took about 8 hrs to complete a single story 1600 sq ft house. Upon completion paid balance due and didn't offer to do a walk around just asked if I looked around and liked it. Advised it looked nice but was pretty bulky (the down spouts) his response was more water to run thru. Also there's an additional down spout in the backyard, that was not originally there. WHY?? The downspouts that were installed in 1986 when house was built worked just fine and half the size. Now just very bulky. Also sales rep had advised the downspouts would be attached with 1 screw to house and a band around holding it in place. Instead there's 2 screws on each band X 4 bands on each downspout into house and there crooked. And 2 straps missing screws completely. Not what I was expecting the downspouts would look like. VERY UNHAPPY 🙁 ☹️

  Bummed to have to write this (and if I could give it zero stars I would), but our latest experience with Byers' has been absolutely terrible. They installed our LeafGuard gutter system 10 years ago with their "Our no-clog, no exclusion ~ we'll clean it for FREE" guarantee. We have clogged gutters and after calling (which is actually a call center so you aren't even able to talk to anyone directly at the office/site) and being told "someone will get back to you within 24-hours to schedule that" three times, no one has called, I have received no messages, and get the same runaround each time I call back. The receptionists at the call center must have been trained to respond with "I have it noted here that someone has called and left you a message" when in actuality, they have not. I have not heard from a field worker in my area and quite frankly, am tired of calling daily and being given the run-around. The gutters are a great investment, but I would honestly look elsewhere to purchase/install as the guarantee they sell you on at Byers is a not at all what they say it is. And when you read through Byers reviews on Yelp, all positive entries come from those who just had theirs installed but loads of complaints about the awful custom service when clogs/repairs occur. Shop elsewhere.

  UTOH! They got sold so we will see how it goes with customer service. I found a gutter that was installed incorrectly, too short and leaked all the way into the basement. I sent two emails and never heard back so then I called and was able to get to the new company. Will keep you posted!

  It took 3 times to get it right& still did not replace all the dry rot I paid for.

  40ft gutter was installed wavy, looked terrible. They came back out and worked on it again , still not straight. I understand gutters need a fall for the water to drain, but not up and down through out the 40 ft. Maybe need to use a 6 ft level instead of a 6 in level. I thought for that kind of money it would look straight instead of a banana Guess I will just fix it myself.

  Beyers charged us almost $900 for 2 guys working about 1-1/2 hours pulling insulation away from the eave vents in our attic. They did gutters for us decades ago, and that service was great, but this reminded me of the plumber joke: A guy has a clogged-up sink, so he calls a plumber, who unclogs the drain in about 3 minutes. "That's $850," the plumber said. "$850 for 3 minutes? I'm a brain surgeon and I can't even charge that much." "I know," said the plumber. "That's why I got out of medicine." Overpriced service, but at least our attic vents better now, so that was good.

  We had an issue with our gutters were leaking! Jorge and Nelly came out to fix and found out that our gutters were installed improperly! Jorge explained what was wrong, fixed it quickly and respectfully, and can't wait to see it work now in the rain! Jorge, and his partner Nelly were a joy to work with, I'd overwhelmingly recommend them!
