  I requested an estimate via phone whereby you're asked to text your name, email, and property address. I sent the information via text and made a second request via their online request form. It has been three days with no response whatsoever. This is not professional business practice.

  After having Keith Gauvin perform roofing work, we were disappointed and don’t recommend this company due to lack of professionalism and debris left behind that resulted in a flat tire.

  Based on our experience with Keith Gauvin Roofing, we do not recommend this company. This does not represent the quality of their roofing but rather it is a review of their process/safety measures. They were hired to do a roofing job at an Ellington housing complex in May through June 2023, and removed and installed the roofing of several units including town homes we reside at. During the job, our car and our neighbors’ car were damaged. We also discovered large nails and other debris in front of our garage and in the parking lot. Children play and ride their bikes in this area and at least one car got a flat tire as a result. Debris was flung off of the roof and fell onto our car which was confirmed by a large shingle found lying on the windshield. The damage includes: major scratches to the entirety of the body of the vehicle, the windshield, and a dent on the roof. We brought the car to a body shop to have it appraised and they confirmed this damage. We understand that accidents sometimes happen, but they can also be fixed. Keith Gauvin Roofing holds itself out to be an established pillar in the community as “Ellington’s Most Trusted Roofer” holding a GAF certification and a member of the Connecticut Roofing Contractor Association. We are simply asking that they rectify the situation. To this day, neither us nor our neighbors have received any type of apology or acknowledgment from the company. If anyone has any questions about this review, we can further discuss it.

  Very pleased with this company. I called for a quote on Thursday and by the next week my project was done. It was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend this company.

  With our home having the original roof, it was time for us to replace it. With no experience in this process, we didn’t know what to expect. Keith and his team understand their customers and have a very good approach which helped us understand each and every step in the process from the walk-through of the site, the plan to protect our landscaping during the roofing project, to clean up and warranty of the roof. They communicated during every step of the process and we felt we knew everything we needed. What a stress free process. The day of the roof went off very smoothly. Everyone showed up and set to work protecting all of the landscaping we have very close to the house along with a large deck on the back. The team, around 10 guys, worked straight through the day and walked us through their progress. We received text messages periodically with pictures and information on the progress as it was going on. What a TREAT! I shared with him ahead of the project that I thought there might be a couple of pieces of plywood near the chimney he should plan to replace as I was aware there had been an issue with the flashing as it aged. He had his guy David on the roof and they were sharing realtime video of the spots. Keith showed it to me and said in fact we did not need to replace any of the sheets, they all looked good. This surely saved me $$$ that would not have been needed. They easily earned my trust with the high levels of communication, honest approach to doing a very good and high quality job at a good prices. We couldn’t have expected a better experience. When the end of the day came, it didn’t look like anyone had ever been there other than the good looking new roof. We highly recommend Keith and his team!

  Replaced roof(stripped), gutters(with screens), skylights and window shutters. Extremely professional. Gave great advice on the replacement skylights with shades. All completed in less than a day. Very clean crew! Highly recommended.

  Keith's crew did an amazing job with my shed! The attention to detail and additional trim work were exceptional. The crew was quick and even worked in the rain under a tarp. The waste and extra materials were all removed from the property promptly after the work was completed.

  Gauvin Roofing was referred to me by a relative. A 5 star review. Arrived when promised to look at the job. Discussed options and possible pitfalls. Quote came within a day. We spoke/e-mailed back and forth with questions. Perfect. I received a call with the proposed start date. Material/dumpster arrive the day before and a crew of 6 arrived on the day and time promised. The crew was skilled with each person clear on their roll. Superior workmanship throughout. Demo, plywood install, replacing alumininum trim, underlayment and new 3 tab shingles installed perfectly. The job also included replacing a leaking flat roof. Pretty much the same description as above with the exception of installing a rubber membrane (a smaller version of a commercial roof in my case) vs shingles. Demonstrated versatility. Perfect. I will use them again and recommend them if asked.
