  I contacted this rain gutter company regarding an issue with my drainage system. Unfortunately, I was informed that they do not repair or fix the underground PVC drainage system. I was disappointed because my concern was related to the complete drainage solution, and I hoped they could provide assistance or guidance on how to resolve the issue. The communication was clear, but the service did not meet my expectations because the problem remains unresolved.

  I hired JDH Remodeling to replace the roof over my garage and repair portions of my main roof by replacing several vents and damaged shingles. Before work began, I requested that an additional roof vent be installed. JDH agreed to complete the extra work at no charge if I left them a five-star review. At the time, I had every intention of doing so because I expected the project to go smoothly. Unfortunately, the issues that followed made that impossible. To be fair, the workmanship on the garage roof itself appears to be solid. However, they installed the wrong color shingles. There was never any discussion about confirming or matching the existing roof color before installation, despite me requesting a specific color. The finished product does not match what I asked for. The more significant issue was the complete lack of communication. Not all of the agreed-upon roof vents were installed on the day of the project. While I understood that a return visit might be necessary, weeks passed with little to no communication about when the remaining work would be completed. Then things became even more concerning. While I was out of town, JDH sent contractors to my home without notifying me or obtaining my permission. I captured the entire visit on my security cameras. They entered my property, climbed onto my roof, and accessed my fenced backyard without authorization. I was never informed they would be coming, nor did I give anyone permission to enter my property in my absence. After all of that, they left without completing the outstanding work. The only indication they had been there was several roofing nails left scattered in my driveway. Eventually, the remaining work was completed. I ultimately decided against having the garage roof torn off and replaced with the correct color because I didn’t want unnecessary additional nail penetrations in the roof decking after a brand-new installation.   JDH has a good sales pitch to attract customers and I can only hope their work is good since they replaced my roof and only time will tell. Their completion of work is horrible. They left a big mess of my yard, leaving old roof debris. I cleaned up part of it myself and they showed up a week later after I complained to help clean-up the mess they left behind. Im still finding roof nails occasionally and they left my yard looking like a heard of elephants trampled through it which is my problem. JDH is definitely not good with completing a job satisfactorily.

When we attempted to return shortly after to perform our normal detailed cleanup, we weren’t able to access the yard because the gate was locked while you were out of town. As soon as you returned and contacted us, our team came back and completed the cleanup of the yard.   JDH Remodeling suggested putting asphalt shingles on a roof with a 1.5/12 pitch. Asphalt shingles require a minimum roof pitch of 2/12 to ensure proper drainage and prevent leaks. Roofs with a pitch between 2/12 and 4/12 are considered "low slope" and require specialized underlayment. It is concerning that a roofing company does not know this basic roof knowledge.

  Estimator missed appointment but called. I gave him details of a simple shed re-roof 12x24 - easy work, in and out. Asked 3 more times over 2 weeks for quote - never received. I gave him an easy out if job was too small, thinking JDH was local to me. He did not have issue with size, or didn't verbalize it. Looks to be in St Leonard, MD?? If so, we are they wasting my time if I am in Pasadena, MD? Just be honest and tell me what the issue is - just trying to get shed done.... I will take it that I dodged a problem working with JDH.

  Very rude people. Received a call this morning from this company trying to solicit my business by having a roof inspection done. When I replied that I didn’t need a roof inspection done I was abruptly hung up on by the lady that called before I inquire about other services that I need done.

  Matt came to our home in Halethorpe which is just south of Baltimore. He provided an excellent overview of the product and the process. He measured the window and gave an estimate. Very accommodating and understands our need to improve the home heating and cooling efficiency. In addition our home is close to Interstate 95 and is noisy. Matt provided the best solution to reduce the noise inside our house. The installation was accomplished in one day, the cleanup better than the team found it and the installation crew were very professional and skilled. I’m Very pleased with the project.

  JDH Remodeling. Consultant J. Alexander greeted us at the door. Before he stepped into our home he place protective covering on his shoes. After introducing himself and some small talk, it was all about business. As we walked outside to assess the damage, Mr. Alexander stated that HE BELIEVES in treating families the way he would want to be treated. For me……”SOLD”!!! Mr. Alexander explained step by step the damages assessed through video recordings. He provided, in detail, the roofing process step by step. With the damages he provided the best packages for replacement. Mr. Alexander was clear and concise. Answering all of our questions and eased our concerns. In comparison with other companies, Mr. Alexander’s disposition and customer service exceeded our expectations. We are expecting to start work soon and are very excited to see the finished product.   Tom came for the estimate at my house in Fredericksburg was very professional and very clearly laid out the work the I asked about getting done. Shower the process of how my shingles, fascia boards, and gutters would get done and they had multiple options for different pricing to find which best worked for my needs. And the crews that came out worked hard and were very professional during the whole project.

  Mr. Joey Walzel from the beginning introduction, has shown professionalism, respect of the property putting shoe booty before entering my house. He explained the process of the work involved, the materials that will be used, the total scope of the contract and ensured that I fully understand. Mr. Walzel represented his company very well. He is an asset to JDH. He made himself available by phone or text messages if any questions that I may have during the entire installation. On the final inspection, he made a complete sweep of the surrounding, took pictures of the finished roof, explained the warranty details and I’m very happy about the project. The workers also did a very good job installing the roof materials. They are hard workers who start early and finished late in the afternoon. Other than few short minutes to eat their lunch, they worked non stop. Job well done. Thank you Mr. Walzel.

  Great price for my roof replacement and they did a good job with the work. Only complaint is that the crew left trash in my garbage can causing a maggot infestation but I called so hopefully we will get it sorted.
