First the good. Joel responded to my request for a quote quickly. The quote was pretty reasonable but I was still able to negotiate a substantial discount (22%) off of the initial quote. They attended when they said they would. Now the not so good: I appreciate that they are busy but there was quite a lot of garbage around my yard when they were done. There was deficiency in the work. I did not notice until the first rain afterwards. It was not a huge deal over the short term but would have been long term. With rain in the forecast, I texted to have the work fixed. Joel ghosted me and I had to buy tools, get up on a ladder and fix the problem myself. To this day Joel has not responded to me despite repeated messages.

Joel has done everything we have asked and more in the past with my roofing job and I'm going to hire him again for work on my eaves. When people do good work for you, you hire them back. It just makes sense!!!

Joel recently repaired my roof, and I highly recommend him. He is very experienced, responsible, and pays close attention to every detail. He took the time to ensure the repair was done properly and with great care. If you’re looking for someone to repair or replace your roof, I would definitely recommend Joel.

Joel did a great job replacing our very old skylight. It had been leaking throughout the winter and needed replacing prior to the next one. Joel is very personable and answers any questions you may have. He gave us a lot of advice and suggestions, as this was a first for us. He is very detailed and conscientous. He kept us informed and provided step by step photos via text while he was working on the roof. Everything was cleaned up nicely once the job was completed. Nothing for us to pick up :). We highly recommend Joel/JD Roofing.
