  They “finished” a small section of vinyl siding on a home that I was planning to purchase. wow! A child could have done a better job!😒They should really stick to roofing…But from looking at other reviews, it doesn’t look like they’re even good at that! …

  Stacey I’m not sure who you are but I don’t see you being a customer of JB roofing. If you know of a child that could have done better please let me know who that would be so I could reach out and hire them! It is hard finding good workers now days. Especially ones so young and that could do work better than grown men. Thank you for posting these pictures, they are the same ones I took when we got done with this. This little section sure was interesting to finish as it’s difficult to make something like this look good for each person. The home owners of this house were definitely pleased. This job started as tearing down a car port. During that time some of the siding came off. Unfortunately we didn’t tear this whole side of the wall off. We continued off of someone else’s work.   Sadly, I can’t recommend JB Roofing at all. For those that know me, a bad review would almost never be written. However, Jason left with me an utter mess, and I would not wish that on any one else. I hired him to do a full shingle replacement after the Derecho in 2020. A wind storm came in from the south (a month after the November install) and took off a bunch of my shingles. He was quick to come patch and repair but the weather got worse, more shingles came off, and he assured me that there was something wrong with shingles, and that I would get a new roof in the spring of 2021. He asked me if I wanted him to work through the warranty claim, and I said yes. He told me he had submitted my claim to GAF, but in truth he never did. Spring of 21’ came and I called and texted and he refused to return my calls. I even talked with one of his friends and he was aware that he had left me hanging and needed to make it right. Ultimately, he made off with over $36K for my roof, and left me to deal with mess. To this day, he has never made it right. I have been dealing with GAF for more than two years. In my naïveté, I thought a person/business from Kalona, Iowa would have a decent moral and ethical standard, but I was mistaken. To be clear, the installation was done correctly, the peace of mind that Jason would stand behind his work, and the product that he installed was nonexistent.

  We contacted Jason shortly after our storm damage occurred this spring to make sure we would be on his growing list of homes that needed repairs. Once we had settled with insurance, Jason promptly came to work out his quote and our roof was replaced less than 2 weeks after his initial visit to our home. His crew works efficiently - they take care to protect landscaping prior to beginning tear off and they do an excellent job of cleaning up your property before they leave.

  Jason and his team were very easy to work with during the quote process. He provided honest and direct advice with full, transparent communication! On the day of the job, they arrived promptly and were very efficient in getting my roof completed. They even left my property cleaner than before they arrived! I’m very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to anyone in Southeast Iowa!

  Jason and his JB Roofing crew did a fabulous job installing shingles on our home. They were professional, hard-working, and thorough. We chose Malarkey class 4 Legacy 20 year warranty shingles for durability and long life.
