We're also very sad to hear that you are upset about the additional costs/charges that we came across while doing your job. In a perfect world, we would have no unforseen circumstances but unfortunately (as in most any type of construction) it's hard to see or find all possible scenarios during our initial free estimate. Hopefully you're pleased with the overall final outcome and can remember "Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten."

  I am beyond disappointed to write this review. As a customer for many years, this business has gone downhill. I received one of the most lazy and disheartening paint jobs in history. They not only left all the switch plates off the walls, but also painted over receptacles, missed areas and exited with paint trails all through the home including my back deck. If you are reading this, please… choose anyone else for your job and save yourself the headaches that will come.

  Had work done a couple of years ago for a substantial amount of money. We had to point out areas that needed to still be fixed. Now, the siding is splitting apart and we have called them without any responses. Avoid this place.

  I paid over $3000 to replace about 20 pieces of siding on my house because i was selling it. I was assured all of the bad siding on my house was replaced. I had a home inspector come by and his report came back saying there were 4 pieces of siding that still needed replaced. I called Jacobs Ladder and left emails with no response for about 3 weeks. When they answered, i told them about the pieces they missed, and they said they missed them because its not their job to inspect every square inch of the siding. Then went on to say they would fix it, but they would be sending me another bill. Terrible experience with this company. I paid the outrageous price because the reviews said they were worth it. Way over priced, terrible customer service, rude people, unprofessional, and very unhelpful. The closing on my house fell through because of their incompetence.

  Hi David- We understand selling a home is stressful especially when the home inspector's report leads to additional and unforeseen costs. After looking into this further, it is our understanding that we provided an itemized cost for specified siding/trim pieces and completed the contracted list 100%. The inspector then found additional areas he feels requires repair. While we don't agree that the inspectors report is entirely correct, we did provide an additional price to replace those areas. We never claim that we can find all areas of siding/trim around the home when we are called to do "spot repairs" as it is nearly impossible to identify during our 30 minute scheduled estimate. We can gladly perform the repairs on the inspectors report or discuss the repairs with him should you decide to move forward.

  Contractors broke into my home because they couldn't find the outside power source - I texted the contractor back in under 5 minutes telling him where to find it. Then when they were done for the day, they left the door and gates to my yard wide open for anyone or anything to just walk in. Left materials in my driveway blocking it for over a week. Dozens of roofing nails in the yard and trash all over the attic. If I could do it over again I would definitely go elsewhere.

  We had an exceptional experience working with Jacobs Ladder on our shed remodel. The roof, side windows and steps needed replacing, the wood siding was in poor condition and was replaced with vinyl siding and the doors were rusted. From start to finish, the entire process was efficient and stress free. Johnnie Mastroianni, the Project Manager, was super. He explained every detail thoroughly, keeping us informed every step of the way. Thanks to him there were no surprises. Bud, his coworker, and Johnnie went over and beyond on keeping site clean, working in a professional manner and paying attention to detail. Johnnie was always available by phone and if he wasn’t, I left a message and he would get right back to me. He would answer any concerns that I had. I have seen other projects that they have completed and the worked they did was great. I would strongly recommend Jacobs Ladder for any similar project or any future renovations to your home.

  This is the third time we've used Jacob's Ladder for exterior work on our house and they excelled again. Johnnie and the JL crew are easy to work with, dependable, and deliver high quality work. This project involved replacing rotted siding and trim and various other carpentry needs - all were done well. I highly recommend Jacob's Ladder for your home repair and maintenance needs.

  I’ve had Jacob’s Ladder replace siding, put in new windows, new 5” gutters, flashing and return air grills. Johnnie’s done an excellent job on all of the projects. He has good problem solving skills and knowledge of how to do things properly.

  Jacob’s Ladder updated my deck with precision and great care, including carpentry and power washing. The job site was cleaned every evening and upon job completion. This job was the second job done with Jacob’s Ladder. They are my go-to company when I need a job well done!

  The Jacob's Ladder team painted five rooms for me, a huge undertaking, as my home is old and there were many cracks and holes that had to be filled before painting could commence. Nevertheless, they went about the work in high spirits and energy, which never flagged. They were punctual and courteous and downright nice people. I'm very pleased with the results and will call upon Jacob's Ladder for future jobs.

  We secured 5 estimates for painting the exterior of our house and shed. Jacob’s Ladder’s quote was impressive, the most professional, listing in detail everything they would be doing and the best price. The crew arrived Tuesday morning and completed the job Wednesday evening. Awesome job. We could not be more satisfied with the finished result and would highly recommend this company.
