From personal experience over many years, I would not choose any other roofer than Davis & Sons Roofing & Construction. They put on a roof built to last its full expected life, and their close attention to detail around roof penetrations, flashing, and valleys shows they care about doing the job right for the long term. I also know people who came back for another roof only after their old one had reached the end of its normal lifespan, which says a lot about the quality of the work. They really understand how to keep wind, rain, and weather outside where it belongs. Roofing is more than just nailing down shingles. Good materials only perform well when the installation is done correctly, and that means proper underlayment, flashing, ventilation, and careful workmanship in every problem area. Too many homeowners get approached after storms by short-term crews promising quick cheap work, but a roof is too important to trust to shortcuts or low-cost labor. What stands out most is the craftsmanship. They treat roofing like a skilled trade, not just a basic job. When the work is finished, there is real peace of mind knowing the roof system was installed the right way. In the end, choosing a quality roofer is the better value, because a cheaper roof is not really cheaper if it fails early or needs major repairs long before it should.

From beginning to end, my slate roofing and gutter project was smooth and well organized with Davis & Sons Roofing & Construction. Edward, the project consultant, was quick to respond and gave a fair estimate. He walked me through the roofing scope, materials, and gutter work in simple terms, so I clearly understood what to expect. He was patient, honest about pricing, and very helpful throughout the process. During one visit, he even took the time to reattach a fallen downspout while it was raining, which really showed he cared. Josiah, the project manager, kept communication excellent while the roofing crew was on site. I received morning updates when rain affected the schedule, check-in messages during the day, and phone calls when something needed a faster response. That steady communication made me feel informed and involved in the day-to-day progress of the job. The crew worked hard all day, stayed productive into the evening, and kept the property neat and organized. They were friendly, respectful, and clearly knew their craft when it came to slate roof installation, flashing details, and gutter work. I am very pleased with my new roof and gutters, and after the recent rain in Ashland, everything performed exactly as it should and helped keep my basement dry. I would highly recommend them for roofing and gutter services.

We had water getting into our attic, which started causing mold on the ceiling. It was surprising because the roof was still fairly new. Davis & Sons Roofing & Construction sent Josiah out for an inspection, and he quickly found the issue. He explained that the flashing and seal around the AC line penetration had not been done correctly, which was allowing moisture to get in. He fixed the problem fast, sealed everything properly, and made sure the area was protected from future leaks. The visit was handled as a courtesy at no charge, which we really appreciated. We are very happy with the service, and I would absolutely call again for any future roofing repair or roof inspection needs and gladly recommend them to anyone needing honest, quality roofing work.

I called Davis & Sons Roofing & Construction after I noticed a big area of missing shingles on my roof in Ashland. They came out quickly, inspected the damage, and explained that filing an insurance claim would be the best next step. Having a roofer involved from the beginning made the whole process much easier and less stressful. Ruben met with the insurance adjuster on site and gave strong support during the inspection. When the adjuster said the roof pitch was too steep to safely get up there, Ruben climbed up, took clear photos, and documented the damage the right way. That extra help and roofing knowledge made a real difference, and I believe it played a major part in getting the full roof replacement approved. The install crew did an excellent job from tear-off to final cleanup. They completed the new roofing system in just two days, including new skylights and a ridge vent, and the workmanship looked solid and professional. Communication was clear the whole time, the crew respected the property, and the entire project moved smoothly from inspection to completion. I was very happy with the full experience and would highly recommend them for any roofing repair or replacement work.

I do not post reviews often, but I wanted to share how pleased I am with the excellent roofing work on my home. The crew handled the roof replacement, gutters, and related exterior updates with real care and strong attention to detail. Everyone was professional, easy to talk to, and kept me informed through every step of the job. They answered my questions quickly, worked hard to fit my requests, and made the whole roofing process feel smooth and well organized. Edward, Ruben, Josiah, and the crew made me feel like my project mattered from start to finish. They followed through on everything discussed before the contract, including better shingle upgrades, improved roof ventilation with a solar vent, and direct communication with the insurance company. They also made sure all storm and hail-related roof damage was fully inspected and properly documented. I would gladly hire them again for any future roofing or gutter work.

i called for a roof leak on two separate occasions, and each time the crew found the damaged area and replaced the needed section of the roof. the first repair has stayed solid and leak-free, and the second project went just as smoothly. They were reliable, honest, and on time from start to finish. josiah showed me what was causing the problem and explained the roofing work in simple terms, so i understood the repair plan clearly. They answered all of my questions quickly and fully, and the office team kept me updated throughout the job with daily progress photos. ruben also stopped by to check on the work, which gave me extra confidence in the whole process. Each day the crew arrived as scheduled, worked carefully, and cleaned the job site well with nothing left behind. it was clear they care about quality workmanship, good communication, and making sure the roof is watertight. i would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roof repair or partial roof replacement.

I can’t say enough good things about the roofing team. Starting with Ruben, who handled the calls, everyone made the whole process easy and clear. The work was done on my 90-year-old father’s house, and he was worried about being taken advantage of, but they went the extra mile to help him feel comfortable and confident about choosing them for the roof and soffit work. They kept me updated through every step, showed up when promised, and did a complete cleanup when the roofing job was finished. We got three estimates, and their price was the best while still offering solid service and quality workmanship. They also completed a lot of soffit repairs, and the results look great. We are very happy with how everything turned out, and they will absolutely be my first call for any future roof replacement or roofing repairs.
