  They came out, replaced our roof but did not fix The leak in our roof. They proceed to tell us we need to spend more money to fix that particular issue and then go on to ignore us. Mind you this is after several phone calls over

  Shady business practices. Did our roof had us tell the insurance they were done. Once they got their payment they never came back to repair the interior of the house where we had a previous leak. After a bunch of no shows nor returned calls within a 2 month period, we stopped trying to reach out.

  Never fixed storm damage. Canceled multiple times due to a 30% chance of rain on the other side of the state. Obviously if it’s raining they can’t work on the roof but I had more damage on the ground they were supposed to fix. Insurance …

  We take our work seriously and have an excellent and PROVEN reputation. We have no record of anything like this. We cannot determine who you are or verify that you were ever an actual customer of JACO Contracting. We do not believe that this is a legitimate review. Otherwise, we plan to report this to Google as a fake review and take further and necessary action to protect our valuable business reputation. We have years of excellent reviews, submitted by many people who give specific information - like names of our people who worked on the project. We also have years of great reviews on Facebook, by people whose profiles can be reviewed and determined as legitimate. Tonight, we see two reviews posted within mere minutes of one another that are both written with very similar language by [alleged] reviewers who do not use real names (e.g., "Mr. Flex") and have only three reviews between them, two of which just happen to be of JACO. One of them invites readers to disregard our great reviews as possibly not being “legit.” All evidence points to YOUR review as not legitimate.

  I really wanted to like this company. Found them on google and also a neighbor used them a couple years ago and said they were happy. At first, all was great. Sales rep (Nick) scheduled a roof inspection, roof climber was very nice and told me Nick would call me the following morning with all the details. After a couple days I called Nick and wasn't able to reach him. I then called the main office and mentioned I hadn't received a call back. Was told that their systems were down the previous day and she would have him contact me right away. No big deal, things happen right? A couple more days have passed and here we are with no contact. It's frustrating but at least there are many other companies to choose from with good reputations. Building a good reputation takes years and losing it takes minutes. I would not recommend this company to anyone based on my experience.

  Storm damage 3-26-21. I had to find another contractor and pay out of pocket in December 2021. Was told month after month not to worry. Then it was next week we will work you in. I emailed the owner, never received a response. Just beware …

  Do not hire. JACO does not know how to install drip edge, and had to hire a gutter company, who also knows nothing about installing drip edge, to do the job that any reputable roofing company should know how to do! On August 1, 2020 JACO Contracting replaced my roof due to storm damage. My roof needed to be brought up to code to comply with Section R905 of the Requirements for Residential Roof Coverings in Georgia. The new roofing code requires drip edge to be installed at the eaves and gables of shingled roofs. JACO violated this requirement when installing my roof by failing to install the drip edge. The required drip edge was purchased, was on-site, and was included in the work agreement. However, the drip edge was discarded in the throw-away dumpster. On August 4, 2020, I contacted JACO regarding the fact that my roof was not compliant with the new code. I was told multiple reasons why the drip edge was not installed, and ultimately JACO wanted to install gutter guards instead of the required drip edge. I contacted my county and insurance company and was informed that if the drip edge is not installed around the perimeter and rake of my home that the new roof would not be up to code as required by Georgia Law. I also confirmed with Owens Corning that gutter guard is not the same as the required drip edge. On October 20, 2020, Owens Corning sent JACO installation guidelines and instructions. However, on December 17, 2020, JACO was still unable to install the drip edge around the perimeter of my home and attempted to install another substitute for the drip edge. This substitute was folded sheet metal that was too wide to fit above the gutters and did not have the required kicker that is crucial in diverting the rain away from the home and into the gutters. JACO wanted to cut the sheet metal so that it would fit around and above the gutters which results in a path for rain to drain and would result in wood rot and mold of the fascia boards and damage to other wood

  Blake and his crew did a great job on my mom's roof! Fixed unforeseen problems in a quick and timely manner. Very honest, friendly and dependable. Had to remove 1 layer of tin and THREE layers of shingles! Plus brace the chimney and fix some areas that had rotted. Very happy with the new roof and they were reasonably priced as well! Would use them again, no problem!

  We had a leak that causing internal damage and JACO came out and fixed it within a week. They even temporarily patched it so it wouldn’t cause more damage during the time between the inspection and the work. Hunter was our POC and he was prompt, courteous, and up front about everything.

  Brad was great to work with. He was very professional and went into great detail about all the different types of shingle types and what options we had. They started at 6am and was finished around 6pm. Cleaned up everything and we did not find any nails or scraps in yard! ☺️ Although we had a mishap with manufacturing, I would still recommend Brad with Jaco as your representative. Throughout the warranty claim, Brad was always available and went above and beyond to assist with this process! @ Jaco… Brad is GREAT!!

  What a wonderful experience we have had with Jaco regarding our new roof. Will has been a pleasure to work with from the beginning to the end. He has made sure we are happy with the product, color, pricing and timeframe. Travis was on site with the crew who did an outstanding job taking off our metal roof and replacing it with shingles. I couldn’t be more happier with the results. Great job and I would recommend and encourage anyone who wants a new roof to call them first.

  JACO roofing is very informative, professional, friendly and efficient! Showed up the morning of the roof install and covered everything around the house for protection. They completed the job in a timely manner and kept us updated on everything throughout the process. Once they finished it was like they were never here.   Jacob Hooper had our roof completed in 1 day--- and it was not your typical roof! 1) The pitch was too steep in some places and not enough in others. 2) The original structure is over 100 years old. His team came in early. Worked straight through the day. .Finally, cleaning and hauling off all debris. I am very happy with our new roof and HIGHLY recommend Jacob Hood and the JACO ROOFING.team.
