It’s meant to give an initial cost range before any inspection or appointment — a feature that many customers appreciate for its convenience and transparency. I'm not sure where the disconnect is with your experience. At Jack the Roofer, we take honesty and integrity seriously. We never sell or misuse personal information, and our communication is always professional and upfront. The suggestion that we rely on “scam marketing” or “high-pressure tactics” is simply false. I don't know why you have made that claim considering you never met with one of our consultants or had an inspection done at your property.   They were trying to sell something that was not required. After scheduling the job, they cancelled the job at last minute with some lame excuses. Don't trust them.

  I did not have a good experience with Jack the Roofer as a company. I put 2 stars only because my phone call was returned. All I needed is to replace the old non-working attic fan. Jose returned my call. He quoted me initially $600. Then he quoted me $700 and over text was his final quote of $650 for the regular attic fan. I did not like this quote game. I found a person, Roberto, who was recommended to me by my neighbor, who came to check the old attic fan and used only 3 tools: electric tester, flat screwdriver, and a wrench. He checked the breaker, and tested the electric wires in the old attic fan thermostat. He determined that the issue was with the motor. This testing took him less than 40 min. I went to Home Depot, bought a new attic fan and Roberto came back the same evening, removed the old attic fan blades with the motor and the thermostat and put the new motor with the blades and thermostat. The old attic fan housing stayed. This job took him less than 45 min and the cost of the entire job was less than $180 for the total of about 1.5 hours. Jose from Jack the Roofer called me 10 days later to check, if I needed this job done for the amount he quoted me. I told him that the job was already done and was not complicated or as expensive as his final quote of $650. This is the reason for 2 stars. I do NOT RECOMMEND this company.

  Hi Nadia. I am sorry your experience with our company wasn't what you expected. In fairness, a new fan costs $150-$200 and our quote included purchasing the fan, time to procure the fan from the store and labor to install, so the comparison is not apples to apples. Our offered service was all-inclusive. That said, I'm happy that you were able to find a solution that worked better for your situation.

  Chose these folks for a gutter install since they had great reviews and seemed to do really good work. Quote came in about 50% higher than others but we figured it was worth it to get a small job done well. The initial work was not up to par so we asked that they return to repair. They hopped a fence into our neighbors yard to use a power outlet which the project manager later apologized for. They did come back to fix some issues but unfortunately some can't be fixed without scrapping and re-installing. Communication was decent throughout the process though, and this may have just been an off day for them on a small project.

  I am so sorry that the service we provided for your new gutters was not satisfactory. Hopefully in the end we were able to make it right with the follow up trips we made out there.   My dealings with "Jack the Roofer" have been through my general contractor who I trust a great deal. So, as a disclaimer, my information is coming through another person. Unfortunately, my experience with Jack has not been good. We needed a roof for an addition and detached garage. Jack was given the tile of choice which had been approved by our HOA. This was a decent match to the existing brown tiled roof we already had. When the roof went up, it was a completely different tile. Not even brown, it was gray. Apparently, he had misplaced the sample tile we had given him and gotten what he thought was the best match. At the same time, he misquoted the cost to us, giving a price much lower than he paid. So he started this game in the hole. (dumb thing was, had he approached us on the matter, we would have paid for the full cost of the tile) Time and again, Jack insisted that the tile was the right match. I have posted pictures so you can see for yourself. Not shown in the photos are the tiles that are buckling, loose and broken.Turns out, Jack himself never actually came out to inspect the problem. When he learned that we were unhappy with the match, he explained that he had already lost money on the job and would be willing to fix that section of tile if he could recoup some of the cost by retiling the whole roof. Well, we didn't need an entire roof. We just needed the new tile to match the old tile. We felt like Jack wasn't being honest or forthcoming with us. Through our contractor, we reached the understanding that Jack was going to come remove the wrong tile he had put up on the roof in order to rectify his mistake. Because we no longer trusted Jack, we were going to have a different roofer retile the addition and detached garage. Well, now it is time for Jack to remove his shoddy work so I can have the other company put the right tile on and he is refusing to do it. He says he has already lost too much money on the job. We are left with his mistake and we wi

  FANTASTIC ROOFERS. They were a knowledgeable partner and strong advocate while working with our insurance reps. We didn't get the full rroof eplacement we wanted, but they still stuck by us and gave us an affordable alternative when the claims came up short. We are very happy with the quality of repairs.

  Replacement of concrete tile roof on house with stone-coated steel and ridge line ventilation in March 2026. Looks very nice, very competitive price, conscientious crew and project manager. Highly recommend. Pulling back insulation from new soffit vents has to be done by another outfit. Flat roof replacement on north porch in Fall 2025: quick and efficient crew, passed inspection, great price. Just watch our for nails in the lawn!

  I had Nathan come out to do an inspection in our attic to give me a second opinion on a mold issue we were having. He was immediately able to identify the issue correctly after the original roofer we hired couldn’t. He answered all of my millions of questions even though I never actually had to hire him for any repairs. The next time we need a roofer,I will absolutely be contacting him again instead of the original roofer that replaced our roof. He was so kind and informative and easy to talk to. Don’t hesitate to reach out to him!

  I called Jack the Roofer to check my roof again. They checked it two years ago and suggested a follow up. This time my roof did need some repairs. They, again, were easy to work with and matched my existing shingles after making sure they were the correct ones. Fair pricing, wonderful customer service. I will call them again!
