Interlock Roofing is HORRIBLE!! We paid thousands and thousands to have our last house's roof redone. OUR WHOLE ATTIC GOT COVERED IN MOLD! I highly advise you to STAY AWAY from this company!! I'ld rate them ZERO stars but I had to rate them at least a one to get review to post. Interlock Roofing is HORRIBLE!

  Reply from the business

We are very concerned to hear about the mold issue you experienced with your previous roof. This is certainly not the standard of quality we aim for, and we would like to investigate this further. Please contact us directly so we can discuss this situation and find a resolution.

We had a $230K+ aluminum Interlock Roofing installation at our home. Six months after the installation we got a significant water leak through a roof drain (not an Interlock product) that the Interlock crew improperly installed and it caused $16K in damages and repair to two rooms in our home. We were traveling when it happened. The Interlock field rep inspected it immediately, took photos, and went back to the Interlock director of installations. They agreed that their install team improperly installed the roof drain which caused water damage to the two rooms. Our insurance company verified the damages. That was more than two years ago. Every call I placed to Interlock Northwest resulted in zero response. I called Interlock headquarters in British Columbia, zero response to our problem. Our insurance company has had no result trying to collect from them for faulty installation on the drain. It is not the actual Interlock roof product that failed, but a drain installation on a membrane roof they installed as part of the contract. The Interlock roof product is performing well and we had a great install experience. But what good is a warranty on a $230K+ project if the company does not stand behind an installation failure? JHG

No, I would not recommend this business. A job that was supposed to take 3-6 days was completed in less than 2.5 by two guys who worked into the night, working by headlamp. Upon completion of work I was repeatedly asked to sign a paper …

Don't expect any follow up maintenance. We tried to have the roof cleaned after 10+ years and they said they won't do it.

  Reply from the business

Brian, we regret to hear about your experience. Our maintenance services are typically offered for roofs installed within the last 10 years. We focus on new installations and warranty work to ensure the highest quality for our clients.

Very pushy unprofessional sales tactics. Badmouthing of competition, special "discounts only today you have to sign now" I have never had a "professional contractor" give me a bid like this before as a sub or gc. All I can assume if their entire modle is to RIP off the ignorant. It felt like visiting a used car lot. The only reason it's two and not one star is the product did look like it was good.

  Reply from the business

We regret that your experience felt like a "used car lot." Our goal is to provide clear, no-pressure estimates for our quality roofing products. We appreciate your feedback on the sales tactics and your positive comment about the product itself.

ILOVE MY INTERLOCK ROOF! No more climbing up there to clean it off, no more gritty stuff after a few years falling in my garden, Looks fabulous And does what it’s supposed to! And then there are the installers: Knowledgeable, Attentive to detail And personable. Ivan is a gem! He attended to the addition of a small bit flashing efficiently, cleaned whole roof with a blower in short order. After almost ten years it’s STILL the only one I would choose!

We’ve had our roof for about 7 years and have been very pleased with it. Recently, I scheduled gutter cleaning which was complicated by a run of wet weather which makes the roof very slippery. The gutter contractor asked if we had ever considered installing safety anchors. I didn’t know there was such a thing. I called Interlock and Ivan came by to take a look. He quickly determined appropriate locations for the anchors that the gutter cleaners could clip their safety harnesses to and showed me an example of the anchor itself. He also offered to paint them black to make them more inconspicuous on our dark roof. He returned about a week later for the install and afterwards showed us pictures of the anchors from the roof and pointed them out from the ground. Overall very professional, prompt, excellent service.
