  I had an unpleasant experience with one of your company drivers today near State College and Chapman. The driver of a large white truck was aggressively honking at multiple cars the second the light turned green, creating unnecessary pressure and making other drivers visibly nervous. There was no reason for that level of aggression, and behavior like that can easily contribute to an accident. If someone is having a bad day, that frustration should not be taken out on other people on the road. It honestly made me question the professionalism and judgment of the company as a whole.

  I called for an assessment if I need a repair or a total roof replacement. The person who answered the phone said I need to know to request a full replacement or a repair . This is before they send someone out . I called back a week later ( after being told I would get a call) And the person on the phone said I needed to tell her immediately if I need a repair or replacement. Nuts.

  They canceled 4 times when they did show up they put plastic on the roof and them said they could not get the roof shingles then they lift trash on my driveway and my husband had to drag it to the street so we could back out, VERY poor …

  Terrible company once they did work. Had a new roof put on by Hoyt 14,000. Had leak in living room last year, they said it wasn’t the roof, it was fireplace - cost me another $1100. Still have leak! I called a week ago, no one has come out to see the problem.

  After seeing some of the reviews, we were hopeful to finally find a reasonable Roofing company, but unfortunately, that was not the case! After several phone calls spanning a few weeks, we finally received a call back from David to only find out that we would need to wait another several weeks. It wasn't urgent so we decided to wait it out. Then, randomly, the day after Thanksgiving, they show up with three guys for a small repair??? They look at the work and say they need to come back⁹ because they do not have what is needed. Then they come back the following Monday morning, again without notice, and complete the repair in 1 hr, and then slap an over $1000 bill in front of us. When we questioned the bill, we were told that they would file a lien on my property if we don't pay up! This was a horrific experience, and only reviewing them to help others avoid the same mistake.

  We asked to reschedule our roof installation that was to happen before the worst California storm ever and they said no way they could because the inspector was already scheduled for the job. We were assured by Chuck that the roof would be kept dry - well it was not! We have four leaks and counting and they have been back here several times. They put the underlayment and left it exposed saying that is what will keep our house dry. I am so angry and not even sure where to begin to take recourse. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT THE BOTTOM LINE - MONEY

  I have used Hoyt Roofs many times over the last 20 years. They did my roof, later my new patio tie in, my raingutters, and most recently I wanted to address some facia issues and discuss future re-roof options. I have always kept their card close and kind of feel like they are my "friendly neighborhood roofer." It's nice to know I can trust their advice.I have recommended them to many friends over the years.

  Fantastic team! Great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend! We had our roof replaced in July and the process was very easy, we choose Hoyt for their good reviews and experience. We needed to replace some facia and other wood and they were very thorough walking us around showing us damaged areas and gave us options. We felt they were very honest and helpful, making recommendations but not pushy at all. All of the crew were so friendly and hardworking making sure to clean up each day.

  No question who we went with on this job, which was a cement tile relay (replaced the paper). In addition we needed a replacement skylight. Hoyt had a huge team, tackled the job professionally, and were over the top in expertise and engineering everything involved. The project involved removing and reinstalling our solar as well. Much peace of mind for us and we would recommend them highly.

  Hoyt was a great company to work with. All the people we worked with were great. The workers were polite, worked really hard and cleaned up every day. The price was reasonable and they communicated with us. I would definitely recommend Hoyt.

  I did my homework. I received quotes from 5 different contractors. Before I requested appointments for quotes, I checked the CA State Contractors License Board (CSLB.) If they didn't have a C39 roofing contractor license, then they weren't licensed to perform roof replacements. Many companies advertising are simple contractors (without the proper roofing expertise) or marketing companies (middle men.) I checked Yelp and BBB for recommendations and complaints. Do they have active liability insurance and workmen's compensation? Of the 5 contractors, their pricing was similar, some a bit more and some a bit less. All 5 contractors were impressive but Hoyt was the only contractor with a $2 Million umbrella liability policy and the only contractor with no outside venders utilized. That's what sold me. They were the only contractor to confirm they would staple a tarp inside my exposed wooden ceiling and cover my pool with a tarp. The other contractors did not volunteer to provide this service. The Salesman and VP Chuck was highly knowledgeable and was very comprehensive. The quote was provided at the time of the initial inspection along with a documents package that was already prepared. Some of the contractors advertising in those flyers you receive in the mail every week or so are located in the San Fernando Valley. Why would you use a company over 2 hours away if you live in Orange County? Hoyt is located locally in Anaheim. The team leader Ricky was also stellar. Any requests I made of him only needed to be asked for once. They arrived every day in the AM and the job was completed within one week. I requested Certain Teed Presidential Shingles in Country Gray. I had 2 layers of wooden shingles removed from my roof and considerable damaged wood replacement. The tiles have a minimum 50 year lifetime. The work was stellar and the roof looks beautiful. Hoyt is highly recommended.

  These roofers know their stuff! They immediately knew that the other contractors had incorrectly installed my roof. They had a solution and gave me a fair price, and did a great job. Their attention to detail and consideration for doing it correctly was impressive. I did have to wait a while to get them started because they are busy, but it was worth it. I am very impressed with Hoyt Roofs and highly recommend them. Thank you Hoyt!!

  Listen, of there is anything you need handled that is roof related, this is the company to check out. Brian, was very nice and professional and accommodating. The staff was friendly. They cleaned up after the job was done as well. I highly recommend you give them a call.

  They were amazing!!! My roof is beautiful!!! They were friendly, knowledgeable and communicated with me and each other. They explained what they were doing and why as they worked. I would highly recommend them.
