  There was some initial confusion with this appointment. The gentleman our Roofing Advisor spoke with was the Grandson of the home owner, and our RA was in the area and asked to run the appointment a day eraly. In any case, we sorted things out and they did buy a roof from Honest Abe. I'm a bit suprised that Rashad hasn't changed our rating as he told me he would give us a 5 Star once the process was completed??? Other than the review, everything went as anticipated.

  My bad experience with Honest Abe Roofing began when I met Edgar. His four favorite words were, "we not do dat". I had a new roof and gutters installed but my house was damaged in the process when I showed Edgar the damage he said "we not do dat" the before pictures showed no damage but no one came out to take after work photos which shows the damage. They had to reimburse me for installing the wrong gutter guard but Honest Abe didn't reimburse me Edgar paid me with a check from his personal checking account, that was strange to me but I had my money each time after it rained I had to call Edgar to show him leaks from the new downspouts.he says "we not do dat" but it wasn't leaking before the work was done. After finally getting the leaks fixed we were back to the original problem which was. They Put The Wrong Color Shingles On My House. My suggestion would be to find another roofing company.

  Do not hire Honest Abe’s Roofing Company unless you want to upset your neighbors and deal with unprofessional behavior. My next-door neighbor hired them to redo their roof on a Sunday in January, likely without proper permits. To make matters worse, they set up their trailer, materials, and even a fire pit in my front yard without asking for permission. When I confronted their boss about it, he brushed it off like it was no big deal. His idea of compensation? A $50 gift card to Texas Roadhouse. I told him the inconvenience was worth far more than that and insisted they clean up after themselves. However, when they left, they left behind a huge mess in my yard, including trash and—unbelievably—human waste. This company is inconsiderate, unprofessional, and has no respect for property boundaries. Steer clear. Edit in response: Your response to this isn't very honest of you Abe. This work was done by the South Bend branch of Honest Abes roofing. Throughout having this mess cleaned up I spoke with multiple people on the phone and the owner Jon showed up to my home banging on my front door demanding to talk. To say that you've tried to contact me to no avail is downright dishonest. In what way does a review like this look like your competition?

  Horrible place that will lie to you. Any negative reviews they get they try to say its a competitor and gets them removed. Dont ever use them buyer beware and unethical sales tactics

We have a very comprehensive CRM to be sure we properly manager all customer accounts, even if we simply run a sales call. There are those who try to damage the reputation of quality companies that operate using high standards. This is often a competitor, who throws a 1 star review out in an effort to damage our reputation. We've built our business on integrity and if there was ever any issue, we'll always get amicable resolve. WE are absolutely a NO PRESSURE sales company. We don't have to use sales tactics as our quality, processes and business practices speak volumes. We can't avoid the corrupt people who hide behind a computer and spread untruths.   So....I am 4 years in to my Honest Abe roof, and they definitely deserve these ADDITIONAL 5 stars! I had a spot where the shingles were lifting on my roof (probably from critters trying to get in.) Edgar and his partner were here within 4 days, fixed the issue, and at no cost to me. This company has treated me right, and I give then ALL the stars!

  Communications from start to finish was great. They showed up on time, communicated what they were going to do, completed the work on time and the price was super competitive.   From start to finish it was a breeze. We inquired a few quotes before Honest Abe and this company is WORTH IT. Ryan was our roof advisor and he was in contact through the entire project. The roofers were extremely fast and cleaned the area well. They even offered to finish up on a Sunday. My roof looks amazing. Thanks everyone! The roofers also seemed to actually enjoy what they were doing so that was really nice to see as well. Highly recommend!
