  Buyer beware Home Genius in my experience did not meet expectations or met their contractual commitment's. My siding project after 6 weeks remains incomplete despite promise to complete within 4 days. The Project manager was not responsive nor managed the project sufficiently. The onsite supervisor showed up the first day and never showed up again on the site to supervise crew which left the site with incomplete work and a large amount of construction material in my driveway for nearly a week. Some of the delays were due to Home Genius ordering wrong size or color attic vents and shutters. Despite numerous texts and calls trying to get a completion status from Home Genius and promises to escalate my issues to regional managers to resolve I have received no contact from the PM or Regional Manager. I have had several neighbors ask about my experience with Home Genius I could not recommend Home Genius to my neighbors or others. So if a Home Genius salesperson contacts you my advise is buyer beware

  I scheduled a simple gutter cleaning and instead got a high-pressure full home inspection salesman. The salesperson told me he couldn't leave without taking photos of the exterior of my home because I had "signed a contract" and his boss required it. All I did was call and text for a gutter cleaning. When I clearly asked him to leave my property, he refused and continued taking photos anyway.

  I had a very unpleasant experience with this company. I canceled my appointment in advance, but the sales representative (Geo) still showed up at my home. Even after I explained that the appointment had been canceled, he was very pushy and kept insisting on accessing the area and taking pictures. When I repeatedly asked him to leave, instead of respecting my request, he continued talking about the company's products and business. I finally told him that I had to leave to pick up a family member, but he then started asking where I was going and whom I was picking up. I found those questions to be completely inappropriate and invasive. Even after that, he continued trying to schedule another appointment, suggesting he could come back the following week if I was busy. This behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I have never had such an experience with any other company. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company. If this is how they train or allow their representatives to interact with potential customers, I would advise others to stay away.

  Sub par customer service especially after the roof installation about a problem that needs to be addressed and informed that the support team is too busy to handle my call and waited a couple hours for their call back. Missed their return call after waiting a couple hours after I was told someone would respond within 30 min. So I tried to call back again only to leave another message and never received a response after that second call was made to them.

  I have a no very visible ‘No Soliciting’ sign on my door. Door knocker from this company rang the door bell while my 2 year old was napping, set off my dogs and woke my son up. When I told him we weren’t interested, he said it ‘wasn’t a sales visit’ even though it 100% was and asked if he asked if he could come by later. When I told him this is why we have a no soliciting sign, he rolled his eyes and left.

  Avoid like the plague! Pushy salespeople who come down from an astronomical price to a still insane price and estimates that are "only good today". I was very clear with the sales rep and person who set up the estimate up front that I had just begun looking into the process of getting my home resided and was just starting to look at quotes/pricing the job. The sales person after giving me a 3 hour talk would not accept not making a deal that day and using very shady sales tactics to make me sign there and then. Once they gave me a price, i told them i still needed to do more homework and get at least one other estimate for due diligence, then was told that the prices they were telling me were only good today. Tried every cliche scummy sales tactic in the book. The original presentation made the company seem very reputable and if the salesperson had left an honest best estimate with me for consideration, i would have definitely considered moving forward, but instead was pushy and told me i had to make a decision that day. I find this really disrespectful to the consumer and will be making a report to the BBB on the unethical sales practices. I was promised when i made the appointment that it would be 90 minutes and i would have a no pressure quote. When i told that to the salesperson he laughed and said that's just a lie to get us the appointment. Really upsetting.

  Day 2 of siding being replaced. Located in Wayne PA. This has been a nightmare. We have asbestos siding and are getting it covered with new siding along with all new gutters and trim etc. The crew has not placed tarps down to collect the fallen asbestos as they hammer into it and break it. They have let it fall all over my yard. When I stopped them to clean it up one of the workers crumbled it in front of me having it break into a million pieces. No regard for the safety and health of dealing with this material. A basic expectation would be to lay a tarp down to collect the debris. It would be like having someone doing work inside your house without laying down the cardboard they normally do on the wood floors. They have no shopvac to clean up the fallen debris on my yard either. They have promised to clean it up twice now and have not. They said they would use a tarp on day 2 after cleaning up and have not. I just had to send the workers away until this is handled. The project manager just manages the subcontractor via the phone and not in person and is not on site at all. They have not followed through with agreements we have discussed via text, phone and in person. I have been up every night not sleeping because of this. I am concerned this is going to cost us thousands of dollars down the line. I am concerned for the health and safety of my family. I do not trust the work of the siding crew that it will have issues. They seem very sloppy and not detail oriented. Cutting shortcuts. IE not even using a tarp. I am waiting right now for some sort of communication from one of the project managers to come out and fix this situation ASAP. This has been so stressful and such poor communication. Update*** I continue to have nightmares about this and concerns for the safety of my family during the siding job they did. I hope that our health is okay.

  Crew was very professional, very happy with how my roof turned out. Ryan communication skills are top notch, I never felt like I was left in the dark with anything.   EXTREMELY happy with the work! Home Genius did my roof and gutters in may, and now came back for my doors. HOME GENIUS did everything above my expectations from planning to execution. Clean up was great as well! Don't have to worry about any mess left behind with home genius ! I've used them for roofs, gutters and now doors. Can't wait to have them back to do my windows ! Will be recommending to everyone !

  My experience with Home Genius was stress free. The workers were very knowledgable and it was obvious by their workmanship that they knew what they were doing. They also were very polite and respectful. My Project , Edgar, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He kept in communication with me throughout the job and regularly checked on the workers as the job progressed. I highly recommend Home Genius. If you want a job done within a reasonable time and you want it done right, Home Genius is the company to call.
