  I contacted Hinkle Roofing to request an inspection and quote for gutter repair. They came to inspect the gutters timely, despite being informed that I would receive the quote within a few days, I have yet to receive any communication, and it has been two weeks.

  Waste of time, do not even bother calling them. Someone I knew recommended them so I called. I normally test contractors before I have a major job done and I called them three times and set up appointments and no one ever called me back each time so I had to call again and complain. The person that answered the phone says that they had no record of me calling each time and nothing had been entered into their database, really? Finally got somebody to call me and the person identified himself with the name that was different than what appeared on the phone and the individual never came out to do the estimate. Excellent job people, that's exactly what I wanted because I'm not going to invest a lot of money in the company that can't even do a simple assignment or could be called in the event of an emergency. Call yellowhammer Roofing, apparently they're the best in the business in birmingham. 1/3/25 finally got a response from the owner 2 weeks since I posted my review and he says they still do not have any record of me communicating with them. So you were asking me to call you a fifth time huh? And why in the world would I do that? Every business that I have ever had we had always answered the phone by the third ring and got the customer taken care of as soon as possible when they were having a critical problem. When I called your company we had multiple leaks that needed to be addressed, am I supposed to wait weeks or months in order to get that done? I don't think so. However, I'd like to thank you for contacting me even though it took 2 weeks after posting my message. I wish you all the best in 2025.

  Horrible customer service. Don't return calls. I can't imagine getting them to fix a leak on a new roof they install.

  This experience was quite odd and disturbing. Earlier in the fall of 2022, I wanted an estimate for roof repairs. I called them every day for several weeks just to set up a date to inspect the roof. When they came out they were five hours late, which meant they came while someone else was here. I was home, but requested "no contact" and asked them to call me during their visit. The roof inspector told me through the door that he didn't have my home phone number. They got on my roof for a while and just left. I called them for several weeks afterwards about them emailing me my estimate. After a certain point I gave up. It is almost January 2023 and I still don't have an estimate. I was directed to call this person over and over again who never answered, returned calls after I left messages, or responded to my emails. If you don't think a job is profitable for your company, say that. I can only imagine how horrible my experience would have been if they had started work and/or taken my money. I wish Hinkle roofing's potential customers the best of luck.

  Did not show up for scheduled roof inspection and did not respond to text message asking if there was a problem. Waited 3 hours past appointment time and gave up. Then called to speak with supervisor, left voicemail & never received a call back.

  I’ve held off putting in a review hoping Hinkle would remedy the many issues they left but after 3 years, we are still struggling with a subpar roofing job and many revisits to fix issues they created. They damaged our gutters, created leaks that didn’t exist before their entire re-roofing, and dislodged most of our previous gutter guards. We have had to call them back 6 times and are still not in the same situation from a roofing and gutter standpoint as we were before. The gutter guards continue to fall off even though they never did before Hinkle. The leaks they left have damaged our interior hardwood floors. When asked for remediation, all they did was apply kilz to the mold created on our internal roof. Really disappointed for a local company.

  Hinkle Roofing installed a new roof in February 2021. I purchased the extended warranty. I have had two leaks since that time, the most recent being just a few weeks ago. Hinkle responded in both cases immediately and had a repair crew on site within just a few days. They communicated thoroughly and followed up to be sure the repairs were satisfactory. Also, this job was over 200 miles away! It's not that problems arise, it's how those problems are handled that counts. I highly recommend Hinkle for any roofing needs. They do what they say they are going to do!

  I was very happy with the service that this company provided. The customer service was very nice and knowledgeable. The service person was nice and was able to answer all my questions and did very good work on my house. This is the second time that I have used them and will always recommend them to my friends.

  Will came out and assessed damage shingles and gave roof overall inspection.. very honest and professional.. repair done within in a timely manner and work completed was satisfactory.. I will definitely use again and recommend services

  Had a shingle come off during the last storm and called Hinkle and they were out the next day with an estimate and then next day to fix after I accepted the approval. I had heared horror stories about other companies trying to rip people off and get everyone new roofs they didn't need thru their insurance companies because they know how to get insurance to approve these kinds of things needed or not but this didn't happen with these guys. They fixed the problem and only the problem! Checked everything else and said it was fine so I was very relieved! Very friendly, professional and FAST and the job they did was great. I hope I don't need a roofer again anytime soon but would use them again for sure and recommend for roofing needs!

  Daniel came to check my 45 year old chimney pan & do a free quote if I needed a new one. I didn't need to replace it! Hurrah! He inspected the rest of the roof, found a nail pop, & caulked it at no charge. He was just the right amount of friendly & explained everything clearly. If the rest of Hinkle Roofing does their jobs as well as Daniel did his, I wouldn't hesitate to call on them for future roofing needs.

  Mr. Matthew Law came to my house on time, he was friendly and professional. He came to look at the roof and gutters to see where I was having problems, he found the problem area in a timely manner. He answered all my questions. Would recommend using this company!

  Great service, kind and very fair. Daniel helped me understand what’s going on. Hinkle had a timely response from the company to my residence. Felt as if I was talking to a longtime friend even though I had no clue of the business lingo.
