  John Harper did siding work on our house and left things we paid for unfinished and is now not answering our calls or texts. Would not recommend.

  I used them twice. The first time was for roofing. They tarped everything, I assume its right, I cant get up there to see myself. I did have an issue with them leaving my box gutter filled w trash and glue all over my downspout and siding which John had fixed. Then I used him for siding. They caused $1000+ worth of damage to the inside of my house, 3/4 of which was after I stopped them and John assured me that it had been "laziness on his guys part, that they all knew the correct way" to accomplish the project. As soon as I went down stairs they repeated the behavior on a larger scale.They didn't tarp anything which led to me asking John to replace my handrail. They made a trash pile on my flowers, and dented my brand new mailbox before hanging it. When they redid the front siding they changed the line and exposed a hole in my original wood siding for animals and birds to nest in and even though I paid to have "all loose or damaged siding on the side of the house repaired" they ignored the top row. John and I agreed that I would pay the $1000+ plaster repair out of his labor and once Id paid the labor balance he said he would come address the hole and the loose siding. Almost three months later he is not answering texts or calls from me. Now I have to pay someone else to clean up after him. He's great till something goes wrong. Unfortunately there is no site manager overseeing his crew and there is no list for them to go off of and no one checking their work. As soon as he leaves the site, which was often for me, anything can happen. When you stand up for yourself and expect the professionalism that he promises you when bidding your job, he will get a bit rude then ghost you.

  Where's John? When John was working on my roof, he was responsive. Now that the roof is leaking less than a year later, I can't get a hold of him. I've left dozens of VM and texts. I encourage you to look elsewhere for a roofer.

  Harper roofing installed our new roof. Roughly 2 years after the installation a leak was occurring in the fan exhaust vent and leaked into the house. John came out to look at it and said that the cause was due to wind driven rain and that not much could be done but he would put together something to address this. I never heard back. 5 months later the leak returned. I called and texted John and he did not respond. 7 months later the leak returned again and I called and texted John and he still did not return the phone call. This caused me to have other roofing companies come out and have a look. They inspected the area and said that the work had not been done right around the vents and that it appeared that excessive caulking had been done to try to stop leaks…not the way it should be done. Further there were cracked shingles around the area. This was confirmed by multiple contractors and I was told these vents were designed to not have leaks with wind driven rain. Which makes sense because why would an acceptable roof allow for leaks. At the end of the day it appears John is either too busy to handle all the needs of his customers or he is more concerned with larger new roofing projects and fails to repair or correct any issues from his work. I would not recommend Harper roofing.

  Words can’t describe the poor quality from John Harper. You can see his “outstanding” work on his Facebook page -Harper siding and roofing. I have documented pictures. He tried to do our roof and siding. Our roof leaked AFTER installation, our chimney leaked AFTER Install. We had a few new windows out in our window contractor showed us some more of Johns outstanding work. The J-channels around the Window are not locked together. So that means water issues. Now, after sending John the picture, 3 weeks ago he has been MIA got most of these issues. Which if you read comments isn’t surprising and my favorite one... there was rain coming INSIDE our sliding glass door due to poor workmanship. Photo above. We have more issues NOW than before we had John Harper step foot onto our property. Such a huge disappointment. My opinion is find a company that takes being a meme bet of the BBB. If they are truly invested in their company, they will be a member

  Roof has leaked 3 times since 2017 and damaged drywall twice. Contacted 8/2/19. Agreed to repair roof and drywall. On 8/24/19 a “patch” was put in place with a statement they would repair the following week for a more substantial repair. Nothing since then. Will have to pursue repairs on my own. Buyer beware.

  Easy, quick, affordable, and a pleasure to work with! John and his team did a fantastic job on our siding. We had another company come out and they spent 2 HOURS giving us a quote which ended up being over $60,000! We were in disbelief. Then John came out, dropped off some color samples, and emailed us a quote which was literally a quarter of what the other company was going to charge. John made the process extremely easy and smooth, answered all of our questions, and went above and beyond when it came to helping us choose our final color (Oceanside) which we love! It’s a rich and beautiful color, compared to our faded gray. It makes such a difference. Thank you to John and his team!

  John and his crew were fantastic! I got a very reasonable quote to have siding put on an addition to my home and within 10 days the job was done- and it looks amazing! I am grateful for John and his crew making my house look brand new! Will definitely use again for future projects.

  We had 1/2 of our siding replaced and a new roof installed. I appreciated how John let me know what to expect throughout the process. The quality of the work was very good and John addressed all of our concerns in a timely fashion. John Harper is a small business owner that takes pride in his work and works hard to ensure that his customers expectations are met.

  Harper Siding and Roofing did awesome work – very satisfied! Harper installed new gutters, trim wrapped entire house, and sided a bump-out to match existing house siding. Harper’s pricing was straight forward, easy to follow, detailed, and comparable to the other vendors on the market. Communicating with Harper was a breeze – very responsive to all communications. Harper was very patient while we went through tons of color samples to find the ‘right’ color we wanted. Definitely would recommend Harper Siding and Roofing!

  We had our roof replaced through Harper Siding and Roofing and had a great experience. John was quick to respond, provide a quote, bring over samples, etc. His team worked quickly and cleaned up the yard after their work. Would definitely recommend!

  Harper Roofing and Siding was instrumental in restoring our 1940’s Cape Cod. They provided us with a new roof, gutters, siding, and windows. John and his crews were wonderful to work with and truly helped bring our vision to life. The teams were professional, hardworking and delivered a beautiful end result . Highly recommend!!

  Excellent experience. We had an entire roof done, the men worked hard, cleaned up every night, the roof is gorgeous. The job was well priced. John was on the site everyday overseeing everything and making sure we were satisfied.

  John was great to work with and he answered all of our questions and concerns before during and after the job was complete. His crew was exceptional too. They worked very hard and left our yard clean at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend John and his team for all your roofing and siding needs.
