  Beware! Please do not waste your money with this company. You will have to redo your roof as we are now. Jent Construction renovated and added an addition to our home in 2010. They hired H&I to roof it. We began having problems after two years. Now after 14 years we have to replace our entire 35 year roof at a cost of $25,000. They used untrained, unskilled workers. They had a crew of 20 people and completed our entire huge roof in one day. I have had several companies, including H&I, give me estimates. They have all concluded the roof was not adequately ventilated. The roofing was not placed properly as the joints are to close together. Some of the shingles are overlapping. The skylight flashing were improperly installed. They also shingled over shiplap without applying plywood first. The people working for H&I just have no idea or training on how to roof. Do yourself a favour and use a more reputable company. Our contractor doesn't even use them anymore.

  Driving down the Trans-Canada highway in Burnaby during rush hour today and watched a slower vehicle in the fast lane drifting over the lines. We were in the HOV lane and as we passed saw the driver staring at his phone punching at the keypad. Poor representation for the business.

  Asked for a quote for a re-roofing, told to call back following week. Called 6 times till sent email for response. Finally was called back, excuses and wife dropped by to say quote in a week, never arrived. Sad communication skills.

  I highly recommend H&I It's a family run shop. Not alot of overhead, pricing was fair. They did the original roof on our place 24 years ago, my roof wasn't leaking or damaged yet, but was getting close to end of life. I called and had to wait my turn, The crew showed up at 7 and were cleaned up spotless and gone before dinner. Solid crew If I need a roof in 25 years I will call them again.

  This is a team of very respectful and diligent workers. They corrected issues that had previously been missed. I highly recommend H+I and would use them again. Great clean up as well.

  We had concerns related to the condition of our "30-50" year roof shingles (applied 2007). H&I inspected and indeed, shingles had "unusual" deterioration and Gurjit assisted with a warranty claim. To avoid any repeat claims, we made the decision to replace the entire roof. We choose alternate shingles and were "wait listed" due to busy this time of year. Gurjit and the team completed the job in just two (very warm) days. I observed (and appreciated) that the employees worked safely, took rest breaks and came with a supply of cold fluids! They were all very professional and the clean up process was excellent. H&I was recommended by family (four houses previously) and I would recommend this roofing company again. Kudos to his lovely wife for her contribution to organizing Gurjit and the team! :)

  H&I roofing was amazing. Very professional, they had a cancellation so they fit us in fairly quickly. The clean up was amazing crew was pleasant, professional and also very tidy. They are also very covid respectful. Would definitely recommend them to family and friends. Extra bonus is they are a family business. And a local company as well.

  Fantastic service and would definitely recommend H&I. Gurjit had first class customer service and his crew were clean and efficient. We received 3 quotes from local companies and H&I provided the best quote and removed and installed our new roof in a day and a half.
