I got charged $315 for these guys to give me a quote, and to put a tarp over a leak. I regret calling them first, as other companies would be decent enough to give me a free quote.

  Reply from the business

Hi Chris, Thank you for your feedback. We understand your frustration regarding the cost of our emergency service. The $315 charge was for the immediate response and installation of a tarp to prevent further damage, which is standard for such requests. We had also discussed that this amount would be deducted from the cost if you chose our team for the full replacement (which you decided not to take advantage of). We take pride in the quality of our emergency services and strive to provide prompt and effective solutions. We respect your decision to go with another installer and regret that our pricing did not meet your expectations. Best regards, The Excel Roofing Team

I tried 3 large reputable roofing companies to inspect my mother-in-law's tile roof and repair a leaking skylight, but none would go on the tiles. I was very happy when Excel Roofing agreed to the work. Thedy did a great job at a reasonable price. I highly recommend!

  Reply from the business

Hey Doug, thank you very much for the kind words and the 5-star review, We really appreciate you taking time to do so. Tile roofs and leaking skylights can be challenging, especially in Vancouver’s rainy climate. Walking and working on tile roofing requires the right experience and care to avoid damage, so I’m glad we were able to be there for you when others wouldn’t. With skylight leaks, it’s all about properly checking the flashing, underlayment, and surrounding tiles to make sure the repair is done right, not just temporarily sealed. Thank you again for trusting us with your mother-in-law’s tile roof repair here in Vancouver. Your recommendation means a lot. - The Excel Team ❤️

Thedy and his crew onsite were professional and informative. They answered all my questions and continued to provide service and answer questions after the roof install. They sent a double crew out and mostly finished in one day. I was concerned when they finished in the dark, and there were a few return visits to ensure everything was completed properly. Thedy continued to address any concerns that I had (valid or not) after the install. I feel confident if I have any further questions or if any issues arise, that Thedy will be quick to ensure everything is taken care of. I am looking forward to see how the new solar vents perform in the summer! I would recommend Thedy and Excel Roofing.

Hi Jessica, thank you very much for the thoughtful review and for taking the time to share your experience, it really means a lot to us. Your roof replacement in Langley was an important project for us. Along with installing the new roofing system, we added drip edge and proper flashing to help improve water management and increase the overall longevity of the roof. We also installed the solar roof vent, which should help with attic ventilation and temperature control. I’m looking forward to hearing how it performs for you during the summer. I also want to thank you for your patience along the way. There were a few bumps during the project, and it was important to us that we came back and made sure everything was completed properly. And just to say, every concern is valid. When it comes to someone’s home and roof, questions are always welcome, and we want homeowners to feel confident in the work being done. Your feedback has also helped us continue improving our communication and coordination with our team, which we take seriously. Thank you again for trusting Excel Roofing with your home, and for the recommendation. If you ever have questions about the roof, ventilation, or anything else, you know where to reach me. — The Excel Roofing Team ❤️
