  June 2025 UPDATE What's fair is fair. We developed a small leak on the ceiling near the fireplace. Called Gryphon and they dispatched Luis two days later. He showed up on-time. Surveyed the ceiling and promptly went to work. He spent 3 hrs removing sealing and examining all areas around the fireplace. Very polite, professional and at this time no additional leaks. I have been very critical of Gryphon, but I am fair and honest. The service call was excellent and very much appreciated. May 2023 UPDATE- Our clothes dryer stopped working. Vent cleaning company found roof tiles debris blocking vent. Another gift from Gryphon! April 2023 update- Nearly half of the homes in our area have replaced the tile roofs and/or underlayment. Every home done by companies other than Gryphon look perfect. Tiles are aligned property and correct placement of roof vents. Not mine. December 2022 update- A Tile fell off the roof today. I'll fix it myself and save all the aggravation. Still finding rusty nails 14 months later. August 2022-Stepped on rusty nail today. Went through my shoe and into my foot. See photo below. The gryphon gift keeps on giving! May UPDATE: First dip into my pool and almost stepped on a rusty roofing nail! Nails are still everywhere. Ask for real references and go look at the work. Most of the positive reviews are most likely their friends asked to write on Google. I purposely waited 6 months following the work to provide an honest emotionless review. I had my red clay tile roof (Underlayment) replaced in October 2021. I will share my experiences and FACTS of Gryphon workmanship and working relationship. Positives: They did eventually show up although after three months of waiting and no contact they arrived 3 days after the scheduled date. We had three rains since although not monsoon and no leaks. Which is good. If you like nails and garbage thrown around your home this is the right company for you. Negatives: Nobody on the job speaks English. These cr

  Kind of upsetting thinking you are getting your roof replaced and tiles (20) replaced if broken when apparently all they are doing is glueing them together and mortar installed falling apart only after 5yrs we confirmed with 2 other companies that this was poorly done so now we got pay extra to repair something that should last for 20yrs.We called this company to have them come out and look at it to see what they say and have not heard back yet but they did mention the warranty is for leaks only. Now I am worried if they even installed everything correctly and if it would last as long as the glue lasted on our tiles that should have been replaced. Word of advice ask for before and after pictures.

  Gryphon Roofing truck parked behind our home and parking spaces for several hours with engine idling. When asked to move, did not and we stayed stuck without being able to get out for hours. Fumes throughout our home all day. Be aware if you use this company of this attitude toward residents. Additionally, they are violating ARS 11-876 by idling a large truck for more than five minutes.

  Sorry for the inconvenience however the truck doesn't sit idling all day; it was the generator inside the truck that runs our Foam Spraying equipment. Heavy equipment used in construction is allowed to be run through out the day. As soon as we heard the vehicle was obstructing parking we offered to move it. There was no need to call the police and get them involved. And as they likely iterated, the truck was not idling. We've been in business doing this for over 20 years; we know what we are doing, we are cognizant that sometimes we have to park in less than ideal places in order to get the job done. But yet are willing to move when needed, its part of the job. These things happen in construction. Sorry we ruined your day. So yes, to the rest of the world, if this 1 star review dissuades you from using our company because we use construction equipment and work in less than ideal situations (installing roofs in the hottest state in the US) to get your project done, then don't hire us.

  BUYER BEWARE!! This roofing company is a bait and switch scam. I signed a binding CONTRACT with them in August 2021 for a new roof. My install date was October 27 2021. They never showed up for the job on the promised date and told me I was never added to their schedule!! Not only have I now waited 3 months, they then advised me that my job is now going to cost $4,000 MORE than the original promised and agreed upon quote. The estimator negotiated the price with me and had many opportunities to catch any unforeseen mistakes. Although a contract was in fact signed, apparently they are written so that they can cancel and change the prices of the job at their leisure. After multiple requests for Gryphon Roofing to “Make it Right” and abide by the original contract, and after I had waited 3 months for their service they told me that they would not do the job for the original price and left me out to dry. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional and untrustworthy organization. They make their customers wait excessive amounts of time to then stand them up on the day of service while raising their rates regardless of a signed contract. Do NOT use this company for ANY reason. They will screw you over and they do NOT care!!

  Austin came out to survey the damage and find the leak in my roof. Checked everywhere abd even did a water test. He found the leak but because it was in the stuccoed parapet it was not within Gryphons scope of work. He was excellent in following up with helping to find a contractor who could do this type of work.

  This was my own replacement money, so I didn't want it to go to any 'ol Dirtbag Slick. After meeting with 6 companies over several months, Gryphon is not only the ONLY one I felt comfortable touching my personal home, but the only roofing contractor I will now recommend to one of my own handyman customers. They are no B.S., Brooks Bryce was straight up and the Production Manager, Luis, made me feel valued.

  Discovered roof vents leakage, called Gryphon, 2 days later Brooks Bryce was on site and repaired 3 vent problems. Office personnel are friendly and helpful. To top it off there was no charge. Highly recommend this company for all your roof needs.

  Gryphon is really helpful when it comes to answering questions or explaining what is going on. The office staff id really good at answering the phones when we need to make payment. They were helpful when sending pictures over. They call for scheduling and if the date does not work Luis is very understanding and gave me s date that worked better for me.

  I had a great experience with Gryphon Roofing. I had Brooks as the estimate to help tell me the problems I had and answered all my questions I needed for my roofing problems. He gave me a lovely price and was a super fun and helpful guy. I would use Gryphon again.
