  We’re sorry to hear how frustrated you feel, and we want to address this with as much clarity and professionalism as possible. Since the completion of your project, we have made numerous trips back to your home over an extended period to address concerns and perform warranty-related work. In good faith, we repaired items such as baseboards and tile even while being made aware during that visit that the home had recently experienced flooding and ongoing drainage issues when it rains. We addressed electrical and plumbing concerns, re worked some shiplap, paint and caulk touch ups. On another occasion, we were called out following a severe storm with high winds. Upon arrival, we observed multiple large limbs down, including one that had caused visible damage on the property. Around that same time, we also noted conditions around the home—such as mounded dirt along the perimeter and the presence of concrete piers—which you indicated were efforts to manage water intrusion. These types of environmental and structural factors can significantly impact interior finishes. When concerns were raised about a potential roof leak and the structural integrity related to the beam installation, we took that very seriously. Although we were confident in our work, we went the extra step of hiring a licensed structural engineer at our own expense to inspect the beam and overall structure. The engineer’s report, which we shared with you, confirmed that the beam was properly installed and structurally sound, while also noting deficiencies in portions of the original framing of the home. Months later, we responded again to additional warranty requests for touch-ups after the roof had been repaired. During that visit, our team was also asked to address ceiling damage caused by the roof leak—an issue unrelated to our scope of work—but we still made efforts to assist where we could.   Asked for someone to come out and replace some wood rot under the siding of my house. After a week... They send out someone they contracted, not bonded, insured, or licensed. In a busted up (windshield and doors broken) civilian van with 2 random guys. I asked how they would fix it. They said (I think... Uh... I think you do it in 2 parts). Its a load baring wall. In no way will I work with a company so unprofessional. Not even a company really. Just sent 2 guys in a busted van and wanted $700+ to do bad work. Edit: after about 2 hours The business owner called me. Asked me to remove the review and wanted to "talk to me about the review as an adult and business owner".... He could have said he was the buiness owner or he was the sales manager... I didnt listen much after being insulted. This entire experience has been the weirdest and most unprofessional I have ever delt with as a home owner. What professional businessman asks someone, with an attitude, to "calm down and if you feel like you still need to leave the bad review then...". And at this point I dont care if, as you say, you treated me with respect. Your contractor was sketchy at best. I dont know how they have good reviews because this was crazy. I would stay away. I am actually a little nervous now since he knows where I live. Luckily I have cameras.

I am the owner, and we have never spoke, although I did try reaching out to you via phone once I became aware of your dissatisfaction . Your review really caught me off guard because both my employee you speak of and the sub that arrived at your house, I have known and worked with for over five years. They have worked and been involved with a couple hundred customers of mine and continue to deliver exceptional work and service. My company is fully insured work comp, liability ,auto, and we hold licenses in 8 states (although Texas does not require one) and I am happy to provide those documents to any customer that would like to see them. I do appreciate the opportunity to earn your business and I apologize for the miscommunication and unpleasant experience, but I can assure you nobody associated with my company will be coming back to your residence .

  Called and the lady answered the phone all huffy "Hello?!" I said "I'm trying to call the contracting company?" She days "call back tomorrow we are closed..." Ok why answer the phone? Why be rude? Why not schedule an appointment? If this is how they treat potential clients I don't want to see what they do once they get your business. Their loss. Huge job just went to competition.

Normally, we have our office line off after business hours. However, because of the long holiday weekend we forwarded the office line to our secretary’s personal cell phone for emergencies (problems with active job sites, etc).   Our experience with gotcha covered and Chris Willis was excellent. Very knowledgeable on insurance policy, great communication skills and always kept in touch with us. We ended up just needing shingles replaced by high winds. Which brings me to HONESTY. Would definitely use Chris again.

  Gotcha Covered did amazing work on my tired old house. New roof, front windows, gutters, siding, painting, and patio roof. Good communication and, if they say they’ll be here at a certain time, they are. I was leery using a contractor because I’ve been burned in the past by others, but I hit the jackpot with Gotcha Covered!

  Gotcha Covered once again delivered outstanding service. I originally hired them for my roof, and they did such an exceptional job that I’ve become a repeat customer for my home contracting needs. This time they installed flooring in my attic, and the experience was just as impressive.   Got You Covered Contracting This has been by far the best experience I have ever had when it comes to hail damage. I live in the north Fort Worth area and have had hail damage to my home 4 times in the last 7 years. I truly believed the last company I used was great until I was referred to Got You Covered Contracting. I had the privilege of working with Chris Willis who personally came out to my house for the initial roof inspection. He was crystal clear with his communication, prompt, professional, and on time. He took pictures of my roof, gutters, windows, window screens, and garage door to show me the different types of damage my house had accumulated during the storm. What really set him apart from the others was his attention to detail and willingness to help/educate me on what my house needed. Example, my wood fence had been damaged and he was able to get that covered in the claim as well. He has been the only contractor willing to push for 100% repairs after a bad storm not cutting corner. When it came to DEALING with the insurance claim Chris and his team took care of everything. I was beside myself after finding out how little I had to contribute when working with Chris’s insurance team. They were able to submit the claim, talk directly to my adjuster, close the claim, and even secure a depreciation check. The roofing process was extremely fast, the materials were delivered the day prior to the roof going on. His team was in and out in one workday. Starting at 7am they were completely done with all the work by 3pm. When I got off work and home by 5pm the roof was on, fence fixed, windows screen replaced, roof replaced, and gutters replaced. Chris was there waiting for me to walk we through everything. Again, his determination to go above and beyond was present as he noticed the sweep on my door was loose.   I highly recommend Gotcha Covered Contracting DFW for their exceptional service. They successfully completed a bathroom and kitchen remodel for us. Following a bathroom flood a few months after the remodel, we promptly contacted Juan Lopez, who arrived the same day to assess the damage.
