We went through about 7 quotes and Gonzalez Roofing beat them all by a substantial amount. We did not have to give up quality of work or craftsmanship for the reduced price. Ernesto came out for an estimate the day after I contacted him, was very thorough and answered all of our questions. He provided us a quote right away and adjusted for any specifics we asked for. The price when everything was completed was the same he quoted us, no surprises. The crew did 2 layer tear off, removed and replaced most of the edges and at least 10 wood sheets (not sure the proper name) where there was dry rot damage (we had a lot of dry rot), put on the new shingles, more drain spouts than we had before, and new gutters. They painted spots on the edges that were cut or replaced due to the dry rot to avoid any eye sores. They were completely done in a week. The owner was on time everyday and was part of every step of the process. After the tear off, I saw him cleaning up any pieces that were missed, even checking that any adjoining properties were clear of debris. If I could give more stars I would.

Ernesto was incredible from the very first meeting. He took the time to explain the entire roofing process and answered all of my questions. Communication was excellent throughout the project, which was really important to me. His crew was professional, worked hard, and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day. The whole experience was smooth from start to finish, and I couldn’t be happier with my new roof. Highly recommend!

I hired Ernesto and his crew to remove my old garage roof (aluminum over original 80+ year old wooden shingles) and replace it with a new shingle roof. He and his crew demolished the old roof, removed about 1000 nails, removed and replaced …

Ernesto, and his team did a fabulous job installing my new roof. From the start I was impressed by timeliness and attention to detail. His crew was always on time and very courteous, a joy to work with. Everyday after finishing up they made sure to tidy up the work area which was much appreciated. At the conclusion of the job they made certain everything was in good shape. From a price point prospective the price quoted was very competitive. The quality of work performed was top notch, I highly recommend doing business with Gonzalez Roofing.

We were extremely happy with Ernesto's professionalism, communication and quality of work. He took the time to make well-fitted carpentry repairs to dry-rotted boards. He was easy to work with and made all of the arrangements to pass the building inspection.
