  If I could give no stars, I would. We have a collapsed ceiling as a result of Golden Hammer installing a complete new roof just 4 years ago. We complained shortly after and they came and made a few adjustments; however, this was insufficient and we continued to have leaks. Recently we were told the company has a new owner. The same person that was in charge of our roofing project. "Same soup warmed over".

  I was scammed by this company. They told me at their "sales pitch" after hurricane Ian that they use peel and stick but just had a new wind mitigation done for insurance and found they did not and now my ins is $2,000 more because I don't have it.

  I just had my entire roof done by them. They did an amazing job on the roof. However, not one OSHA safety policy was followed, and when I said anything about it, I was told not for this pitch of roof. I'm a new home project manager and 30 hr OSHA safety certified safety manager. Until you understand OSHA, I give 1 star. If you want to take the risk of using them, go ahead. I had 2 of their supervisors on site day of work, and this is what they did. No call to the office would have fixed this.

  It took them over 6 months to get to my roof after I hired them, they tried to replace the metal roof on my attached shed after they were told not to, they left 30 square roofing on my roof that they had purchase me waiting everyday at home so they would have access to it. Then weeks after i had paid them the remainder of the insurance proceeds they called me and told me that i iwed them another $361.00 and when i refused to pay it they threTened to put a lien on my home. When i told them that i would sue them if they tried. They filed a suit against me for the entire 14,000.00 that they have already been paid. They are a bunch of crooked thiefs, but I am not going to lay down and take this abuse

  We have NOT filed any suit against Mr. Chapman. We attempted to speak with Mr. Chapman last week to get this to resolution, but the conversation was not fruitful. This roof did take longer than normal and that is on us and supply chain issues. We did incorrectly order additional materials to do the separate structure which was not on the scope of work. This is the metal roof referred to in the review. We had our supplier pick those materials up. Again, we did NOT sue Mr. Chapman. We did have our attorney contact the insurance company to make sure we were listed on any checks due to us for work completed. Mr. Chapman told me there were leaks were due to the time it took us to put the roof on but as you can see from the photos the interior issues have been going on for years. We immediately had one of our employees assess the interior issues. After seeing these photos, we knew the issue inside had been going on for a while and was not due to us putting on the roof. We left a message for Mr. Chapman that with being an insurance roof replacement, insurance should cover the interior work that was due to the damage on his roof. We have sent all the documentation requested by his insurance company but ultimately it is up to his insurance company what is covered. Mr. Chapman had filed a claim with his insurance company Aug 2020. We started helping Mr. Chapman Sept of 2021. Even with this unfair review, we are still going to do what we can to help Mr. Chapman get the funds needed to do the interior work but we will NOT be doing this work. We did inform Mr. Chapman of this also.

  I have multiple signs on my door to avoid knocks and doorbell rings. One of which states we are a "High Risk Household". These people chose to ignore those messages no less than twice during COVID. My family was shocked to hear people on our roof. My family has never felt that unsafe in the several years we've lived here. I can't believe they decided to come back to my door. I had to tell them to leave my property more than once. For the integrity of this review, I have avoided using opinionated information. UPDATE #1: The two people took the flier with them when they left but I have a photo of it with the number you've asked me to call, just to confirm the business. UPDATE #2: I received a letter in the mail yesterday from Golden Hammer and expected it to be an apology at the very least. I was wrong, it was yet another sales tactic in the form of a mass letter. I don't even want to get into the fact that my insurance company didn't want to do business with GHR. I have SO many opinions on this matter, but I just hope the rest of you draw your own conclusions based on the facts presented.

  Yet another roofing company that completely disrespects homeowners by ignoring the no soliciting/no fliers sign on the door and leaves fliers anyway when no one answers the door. Why would a homeowner choose to do business with a company that doesn’t offer that minimum level of respect?

  Have a giant NO SOLICITORS sign on my door as well as it’s posted at the front of my neighborhood but still knocked on my door while my baby was sleeping causing my dog to bark and wake her just to leave a card. Thank you for ignoring all that.

  I have a handicap Client who is out 1400.00 from Tim Sellers doing a patch job that never stopped leaking ! It's been a year in April and her ceiling is about to fall in. And when she has called him, he was rude and acted like he never heard of her. She has a copy of the two checks she paid him. This company Does NOT stand by their word, or work

  10 out of 10 they came out quickly next day after storm for my what I thought was a roof leak. Thankfully Justin debunked where the water was coming from. Not my roof but my ac duct was soaking wet. He was honest and so nice. Not wishing for roof leaks but so happy to have an honest roofer to call if I do.

  I used golden Hammer for an issue I had a few years back and they did great work. I reached out to them again for another problem and Dania quickly and professionally diagnosed it by reaching out to partners they work with. I am looking forward to working with them again to fix this problem!!

  I called Golden hammer to come take a look at the roof and gutters on my home. Dania was prompt and professional. She gave a lot of advice on how to extend the life of my roof. Also she mentioned the need of one gutter section and tips on how to keep them debris free and working properly. I had a friend use this company and they did a fantastic job!

  It was such a pleasure working with Dania and Mike. We needed our roof replaced quickly and they were able to accommodate us and get it done in the time frame we needed.
