  We cannot give SEC a good rating for these reasons, see pics: Eaves drip doesn't work and rain drips onto fascia and will eventually rot. Wrinkle on section of eaves drip is unsightly, not professional. Uneven shingle placement - why would they do this? Clear caulk mess around electric pole boot. They did a terrible job around the base of our chimney. Roofing crew broke our electric meter pole and WE had to pay $5,000 to replace. They didn't clean up all of their roofing debris, especially in the gutter. Roof was completed Sept 2023 and to this day, Nov 2024, we are still finding roofing nails, plastic caps and pieces of shingles. Sloppy and unprofessional work.

My goal is to address your concerns so you understand you will always be valued as a customer; and to present an organic understanding of how serious we take customer satisfaction through actions, trying to go the extra mile. Saying I’m sorry and being done I feel is a disservice to you and I don’t want you to feel dismissed, but rather to know you are very important to this company. I hope you will find my words to be empathetic. I will say I was confused to read this after we met multiple times and looked at several before project photos, and I personally performed a lot of additional work at no charge, even after discovering the underlying issues previously existed. Ultimately, you expressed satisfaction with SEC going the extra mile so I’m incredibly sorry to learn after all this time that is not the case. My confusions and summary herein are brief and I’m happy to discuss them anytime day or night so please reach out anytime. We found that the drip edge was installed exactly as the original and water is supposed to roll off of it. We traced wrinkles in the drip edge to a structural concern and while my original offer to replace it correctly was not accepted, it still stands. I genuinely wish we could have installed the boot and sealant differently; we simply are not allowed by code. The electric issues we discovered were present beforehand and was leaning. Likely after the hurricane the anchors gave way. In my spare time I made efforts to locate reputable electricians for you and worked with JEA to help determine if they could assist. We consistently ran magnets each day and I personally returned multiple times to ensure the area was clean. You even asked for a magnet to be left and expressed pleasure when I returned to pick it up. I am truly sorry that you feel the cleanup was inadequate.   I had the opportunity to interact with Sean and Allie from SEC Roofing as part of my recent residential roofing project of approx. ~5,000 sq.ft roof area. Since I did not qualify for an insurance claim and I have to replace the roof at retail at my cost, I did additional diligence with 5 roofing companies to ensure that I got a fair price without compromising on quality, etc. Of the 5 roofing companies that I interacted with, I was most impressed with SEC roofing - right from the initial interaction with Allie for setting up the inspection, and the interactions thereafter with the owner Sean for inspection, proposal, subsequent follow ups, etc, the entire process was handled with utmost professionalism. Of the 5 proposals that I got, SEC's was the most detailed and comprehensive, and equally competitive as well. I had numerous follow up questions, and Sean responded patiently to each in detail, the pros and cons, including getting additional clarifications that I needed from the shingle supplier as well as the manufacturer since the shingle I chose was not widely installed in the Jax area. I would highly recommend SEC Roofing to my friends and family.

  Amazing people and company. Evaluated 4 other companies and went with SEC. Will answer every question you have. Are always friendly and will address anything no matter how small if it relates to the roof and the work they do. Everyone I worked with on phone, in person, and in email were just the best. They made a horrible experience and amazing one. Could not ask for better people and company. I cannot express how grateful and happy I am 😊

  SEC Roofing & Construction treated us like family, therefore; I will use first names in this review. Our experience was exceptional from the start Robert (SEC President) answered questions with integrity. The (Office Manager) Allie communication skills and super prompt response is unlike no other. This lady is remarkable and a joy to work with as your roofing project takes shape. The estimating team lead Sean developed a great proposal within my budget to support a roof that is the best in this neighborhood. The roofing crew led by Julian (Operations Manager) - arrived on time and Julian's work ethic is simply unmatched. The whole experience from start to finish was just great.   Our experience with Robert and SEC Roofing has been excellent! The fact that we don't live nearby and had such a great experience with the company in the repair and replacement of my parents' roof speaks volumes! Robert answered all of our questions and explained all of his findings, gave suggestions, and gave us a very competitive price. Allie, the office manager, is so professional, organized and helpful and has kept us on track. The roof is now 6 months old and we are very pleased with this company and the work they did.   I can’t say enough great things about SEC roofing. Every single person that I came into contact with was not only knowledgeable, but extremely professional and made me feel like my job was the only job they were working on at the time. I never felt rushed and they were very prompt. They stayed until the job was completed even into the dark hours on some days to make sure every I was dotted and T was crossed. Thank you to everyone.   I recently had a roof repair performed by SEC Roofing & Construction Group. I am very pleased with the with their work. The entire team from original inspection and quote, office interaction, field work and follow up inspection was responsive, courteous, and professional. They performed the work in a timely manner.   Robert Wilbanks, Julian, and the crew did an amazing job! They came and did what they said they were going to do and better. They were shooting for a 2 day job but were actually able to get it done in one 12-hour day. They protected our plants and left our yard the way they found it by taking 3 sweeps with magnets. Julian did a final quality control evaluation, as did Robert. I would definitely hire them again. They also gave us the best price even though they used the best materials.

  I highly recommend this business. Robert Wilbanks helped me from the beginning to the end from understanding the insurance hurdles (Robert really went to bat for me with Allstate) through to his own personal inspection of my yard post-project.   My roof was replaced around June of 2024 by SEC and I could not be happier with this company. They explained everything step of the way, promptly answer questions and concerns. They made the entire process easy and seamless. Robert is very knowledgeable, honest, takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend SEC roofing.
