  Called for repair service on repairing shingles on bay window, they never called back. I called the next week, they said sorry someone will get back to me. Someone then did call, take my information, and then asked if I was home and said they would try to get out that day. They never showed up, never followed up, and never called back. Poor service!

  Poor customer service. Calls were not returned; then when I finally spoke with someone and asked for an estimate, they never sent it. Maybe because I was paying out of pocket and they prefer an insurance check.

  DO NOT do business with this company!! My 72 yr old mother and 76 yr old father hired them to replace their roof. They Hey came over and sat in my parents living Room and told my mother what the price would be, she being very astute and aware of how these sort of companies work, made it very clear that they were only going to pay their deductible of $1000. He agreed in that moment that they would take whatever they insurance company pay outside of her $1000 Deductible. The original estimate from the insurance company or the little over $3800 he agreed that that was acceptable.The final estimate from the insurance company ended up paying $4800, (That was including some additional work that was supposed to be done in one of the bedrooms). Now they are threatening my parents that are in their Seventies that they will be reported to the credit bureau for not paying an additional 260 odd dollars. Not only did my mom pay the $1000 deductible and not only did they get a $1000 more then what was originally estimated by the insurance company, but they didn't even do all the work that was estimated in the final estimate of $4800,there in they're still trying to charge her for work undone that came out to a little over $400. The guys they sent over to do the work did not speak very good English, they ripped up their lawn while trying to back their trailer up into the yard, and the supervisor was very shady looking. IF you're looking for roofing company and you want professionalism and a company that's going to stand by their word and not try to take advantage of senior citizens this is in the company for you!

  Ms. Roberts, On August 25, 2020 we gave your parents a detailed written re-roofing proposal that did NOT include any interior work. Our company does not and has never done interior work of any kind. As noted on specification item #2 of the re-roofing contract, deteriorated lumber is not included in the contract price and it also has in writing what the price per foot additional is to replace any deteriorated decking. Your parents roof had 96 feet of rotten decking that had to be replaced in order to hold the shingles and have proper wind lift resistance. I am sorry you feel that we should not get paid for the work that was preformed. We have sent the final invoice into Liberty Mutual so that they can recover any recoverable deprecation they have coming. We provided them a quality re-roofing job in a timely manor, replaced all rotten decking and gave them an excellent roof. We were very transparent from beginning to end. We are a 35-year company with an A-rating with the Better Business Bureau. As per your review ....No One has threatened anyone. Once they told us they were not going to pay we only said we had no option other than to place a lien on the property which we fully intend to do if payment is not made within 45-days from date of completion. We unlike most other companies do not accept any monies down prior to 100% completion. We do however expect to be paid within a reasonable amount of time after completion. I can assure you we have no shady employees. Writing a false review in the effort to avoid payment hurts a lot of dedicated people and can actually be considered slander. In review, I suggest you revisit your parents signed contract which you will find has absolutely NO interior work provisions and any deteriorated lumber is specified to be at additional charge. I formerly and respectfully request you remove this unfounded review in the effort of immediate resolution.

  Mr Young in response to your reviews. Our phones are answered 24-hours a day. I believe you have the wrong company. We have a repair division that does nothing but repairs on residential roofing. I’ve checked my call records and do not have any records ever receiving a repair request from you.

  Roof replacement done right. From the estimate, to the replacement, to the cleanup. Monty and his team were great to work with. Tina in the office was especially sweet and helpful in completing a needed form.

  I had new roof installed 6 years ago by Gold Star Roofing and they did a fantastic job. They picked up all old nails with a magnetic roller and left my yard looking as good as it did before they started! We had hailstorm 2 months ago and the roof held up just fine . My brother used them and I would recommend them to anybody. The best looking roof I ever had!

  Out of all the other roofers set up dealt with over the last few years, I’ll put Gold Star construction and roof as top notch. I was told how everything would work and they did excellent job. Been a few months since the roof was put on no problems they did what they told me they would do and even cleaned it up real nice.

  Very pleased with everything Gold Star crew did in replacing roofing on our house and shop. I highly recommend them when you need to replace shingle roofing.

  Gold Star came out early, worked straight through, and finished in one day. Great communication from the first call to the end. No mess, everything cleaned up, tarps on ground catching debris. I highly recommend them

  I’m having trouble with them working with my insurance company. My insurance company has been trying for weeks to get them to send things. And they blame my insurance company. I also have asked them to fix a hold they left on my side of my house and they never have. I’m going to fix it myself.

  Gold star was great. Monty was great at explaining all details and making sure we were happy. The crew came in did their work and left no trace of being here except a great looking roof. Did some wood work to fix bad spots so we know we are good for years to come.

  First time I've ever had to use roofing services and I struck gold right off the bat. Excellent service, from my first contact with Tina all the way through to the end. Tina was an absolute joy to work with; personable, professional, and more than willing to do what it takes to help a customer feel valued. I hope I never have to use them again, obviously, but if I do, I won't hesitate for a second before I call.

  Gold Star did an excellent job on replacing my roof. The workers came early and worked hard all day.I was amazed that my roof was completed in one day. That included a.great cleanup after the roof was installed. I would highly recommend Gold Star.
