  Gary came out to look at my roof to give me a quote on replacing a shingle that had blown off in high wind. Gary then gave me a hard sell on how my roof is in horrible shape and if I don't replace it soon I'm going to have problems, what a bunch of BS. I had another roofer replace the shingle and told me my roof would be fine for several more years. I wouldn't trust Girard Roofing to replace the roof on a dog house.

  Girard Roofing has no record of any contact with an individual by this name. We do not know who they are or where they are located. However, we would never refuse to put back one shingle on a roof no matter what the condition. Thousands of our customers can attest to the fact that we do not do a "hard sell". Opinions can vary as to the condition of a roof. Repairs done on roofs are only as good as the shingles that surround those repairs. We are honest with our customers in that respect. We do not push full roofs, but in fact prefer repairs. If a new roof is needed however, the responsible thing that we do is tell the customer that they need a new roof. In any event, every contractor has the right to accept or not take on certain work under their own company's guidelines.

  **update** he saw my review and called me at work just to tell me I was being childish in leaving him a bad review!!!!!!!! **update**No showed after I rearranged my whole day for him to come out. He didn't even bother to call me and let me know, I had to call him to find out if he was going to show up. So ridiculously unprofessional, and rude. Said he only does cash business, never asked how I was going to pay him though.

  GIRARD ROOFING DID NOT DO ANY ROOFING WORK FOR MR. REED! We take all appointments seriously, and usually arrive early for all scheduled work and estimates. If running late or unable to make it, our practice is to call the customer as soon as possible to let them know. In this instance, we had set up a 4:00PM estimate time. The time of 4:00PM was made on purpose so as to have a minimal impact on his day’s activities (work, etc.). He called me at 3:45PM. He beat me to the call. I told him I needed to cancel. Therefore we communicated before the scheduled appointment time and he knew I would not be coming. I apologized to him on the phone during that call. I did not call him back just to tell him he was childish as he indicated, but called him back to ask him why he left me a bad review AFTER I deeply apologized to him on the phone.----As for the statement made about "a cash business", that expression simply means that we do not do our own financing. It does not mean that we do not accept checks or credit cards, of which 99% of our jobs are.

  I highly recommend Girard Roofing! I contacted them to repair a roof leak that was identified during the home inspection while selling my house, and the entire experience was outstanding. The owner responded quickly, scheduled the repair promptly, and arrived exactly when he said he would. He completed the repair himself, thoroughly explained what had caused the leak and how he fixed it, and even provided before-and-after pictures so I could see exactly what had been done. He was friendly, professional, honest, and provided quality workmanship. If you're looking for a roofer who is knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, I would highly recommend Girard Roofing.

  Mr. Girard is soft spoken, did a great job at fixing a hole in my roof at a very reasonable price. I give him a 5 plus.

  Gary was super responsive and made sure to get to my roofing needs before the next rain storm. The job was done right and at a very reasonable price. He's now done roofing at my house, my office and at my parents' home.

  I truly can't say enough good things about Gary. He is professional, courteous, responsive, knowledgeable, and does exceptional work for a reasonable price. I wouldn't call anyone else to take care of my roof.

  Mr. Gerard showed up on time, provided pictures of items that needed repair, provided a fair quote, quickly performed the services, and sent after pictures. Nice to find a local contractor that does good quality work. Most appreciated.

  A tree limb punctured a hole in my roof and Gary was able to come out the same day to assess the damage and secure the area from further damage. I really appreciate him taking photos of the damage and explaining the repairs to be done. He completed the work on time and on budget!! I would definitely recommend Gary Girard of Girard Roofing when someone needs roof repairs or a new roof.
