We started with Full Curl Roofing on August 18, 2025, and months later the job is still not finished. While the roof itself was completed, none of the supplements or additional repairs have been. Our rep, Jake, has completely ghosted us. Multiple calls and texts with no response. We were repeatedly told supplements were submitted to insurance, but when I contacted my insurance directly, they confirmed only the permit was submitted, nothing else. Items approved on the original claim are still unrepaired. At the beginning of the process, we were told no payment would be collected until all work was fully completed, yet they requested and accepted full payment the same day the roof was done. We paid in good faith, only for the remaining work to never be completed and communication to stop. I even called the office and was told they agreed three months was unacceptable and that I’d receive a callback—which never happened. This is extremely disappointing, especially after doing my research, choosing a local company to avoid this, and referring both my mom’s business and a neighbor early on.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FULL CURL ROOFING. All of their reviews are fake. The salesman will convince you that they will give you a discount if you leave them a raving 5 star review. In reality, the original price is the “discounted” price. They have a completely illegal clause in their contract and will threaten you and be extremely rude if you acknowledge it or ask if we can take that off the contract. Ask your neighbors or anybody that knows this company- they cut all the corners possible, are not professional and make your entire property dirty. I will be escalating their illegal and baseless clause that has no chance in court against their clients. I wish they knew that it’s a fake threat. ——————————- Federal Prohibition Under the Consumer Review Fairness Act (CRFA): Enacted in 2016 and effective March 14, 2017, the CRFA specifically bans non-disparagement clauses in "form contracts" (standardized agreements used in selling goods or services, like a roofing contract, where you typically have no real chance to negotiate terms). These clauses cannot: The law aims to protect consumers' free speech and ensure honest feedback is available to others, as suppressing negative reviews harms the marketplace. Violations can result in FTC enforcement actions, including fines up to $50,120 per violation (adjusted for inflation), and courts can declare the clause invalid. Prohibit or restrict your ability to post honest reviews, performance assessments, or similar feedback about the company's goods, services, or conduct (including oral, written, or pictorial statements on social media or review sites). Impose penalties, fees, or threats of lawsuits for such reviews. Require you to transfer intellectual property rights in your review (e.g., giving up ownership of your post).

We appreciate your concern, but unfortunately, we do not have any record of communicating or interacting with you. We welcome reviews based on clients’ experiences and based on facts. We are continuously refining our policies, contracts, and procedures to strike the right balance of safeguards for all involved.

This company forces you to agree to not leave them a bad review, in advance of any work. Don’t trust their ratings here. The following clause is included in Full Curl’s contract: “Client covenants and agrees that it, will not publicly disparage, call into disrepute, defame, slander, or otherwise criticize Contractor. Client acknowledges the value of the non-disparagement provisions any breach of which cannot reasonably or adequately be determined in an action at law. Accordingly, the Client agrees that should it breach the provisions this paragraph, it agrees to pay liquidated damages to Contractor in the amount of $2,500 per breach, which each Party agrees is the best estimate of actual damages, is reasonable. Client agrees to remove any offending post/statement within 24 hours of written notice by Contractor." When I crossed this clause out and signed their contract, they declined to do business with me. This goes against the federal Consumer Review Fairness Act.

We appreciate your feedback regarding our non-disparagement clause. We sympathize with your interpretation. In today’s digital age, we have encountered situations where customers attempt to avoid paying for quality work by leaving disparaging or defamatory reviews. The rise of social media has outpaced the legal protections against such abuses, which can cause significant damage to businesses. Without a non-disparagement clause, we could be forced to spend substantial amounts in legal fees, not to mention the time and effort required to address unwarranted and untruthful remarks. We would prefer to spend our time providing quality roofing services. While we acknowledge that no contractor can promise perfect work, we are committed to resolving any issues that may arise. We believe it is both the right thing to do and good business practice to address potential problems on an individual basis to ensure our customers are ultimately satisfied. The non-disparagement clause is not intended to muzzle clients who are dissatisfied with our work and wish to leave factually truthful reviews. We value honest feedback and strive to improve our services continuously. If you have any further questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out directly. We wish you the best with your roofing project and hope you find a contractor who meets all your needs.

I worked with Kolton and he spent no time overseeing the crew. They made a complete mess and I had to clean up my own yard and patio from nails and old shingles. I came home while they were working and found guys pissing in the yard. I asked Kolton to take down gutters from the second floor roof and they kicked them down instead of attempting use of tools. The screws were ripped out of the wood. Overpriced and cut corners.

We selected them to do our re-roof. All was good until I got the contract and found a Non-disparagement Clause in it. If you don't know what that is, it's a threat that you have to agree to that if you aren't happy with them for any reason -- even if you've tried to resolve with them but weren't successful -- with a hefty fine if you publicly say ANYTHING negative about them. I struck through that clause, signed it and sent it back. They responded that the clause was a requirement, at which point we told them we no longer trusted them and would be working with another roofing contractor. I can't stress enough how important it is that people do NOT do business with any company insisting on a blanket non-disparagement clause in a contract. You could do everything right and they do everything wrong and you could still be slapped with a hefty fine if you tell anyone about your bad experience. If you think about it, there are MANY reasons not to agree to a non-disparagement clause. These are our top 3: >The company must be concerned that their firm cannot deliver 100% satisfaction for clients, so they are covering their business behind with this clause. >They are attempting to muzzle the client if there is a problem with their services. We are pretty easy to deal with, provided contractors deliver what they say they will deliver it, when they say they will deliver it. But we won't promise ahead of time that if we aren't satisfied -- seek changes directly with them and they don't make something right -- that we won't leave an unsatisfactory review. When we are satisfied, we leave great reviews. >This clause is purely a calculated, cynical move intended to cook reviews positively. Not everyone and their reviews are represented, so no one should have faith in their otherwise stellar reviews. With so many roofing contractors available in the valley, why do business with someone who sets off alarm bells in your head. EDIT TO RESPOND TO OWNER: EVERY business faces this same ch

Came to my house in the morning, stripped and removed the old roof, had the new roof on and finished. Cant say every job is 1 day. But it was impressive. Competitive rates. Give them a shout for your roofing needs! Good people!

We called Full Curl Roofing after seeing how they re-roofed our neighbors home. Kalten offered to meet with our insurance agent when he was inspecting our roof. He answered all my questions. Once we got our insurance compensation, Kalten set up a time when they were coming here to replace the roof. Basically it took three days. They cleaned up everything and they were very nice. Now we have a great new roof!!!! I would highly recommend Full Curl Roofing to anyone because of the work they did for us! I also would highly recommend working with Kalten because of how he communicates and listens with the customer! He is a VNP! A very nice person! After working with the public for forty four years I can fully appreciate that!

Excellent service with clear notation to detail with a pre-price and was willing to wait while Insurance clarified and sent checks to be paid. Very satisfied with the timely matter and the cleanup on a daily basis around my house. Also notified me when Inspection hadn’t completely cleared and came back and verified the work to have it reinspected and cleared.
