  Long story short: consistent no show on fixing an issue on our roof that they installed and warrantied. During the purchase of our home the inspection found loose flashings on the roof. French Roofing did the installation several years prior and the roof was still under warranty. We have contacted Sean at least 5 times since August via phone and email. Each time we’re told they can come within a few days and we agree that works for us. Each time they have not shown.

This isn’t how we want to operate, and I understand how frustrating it is to keep setting time aside and have nobody arrive.   We hired this company for a roof repair and could not be more impressed. They were incredibly honest about what actually needed fixing and did not try to upsell us on unnecessary work. The crew was completely dependable, showing up on time and finishing the job exactly as promised. It is hard to find honest contractors these days, but this team is the real deal. Highly recommended for any roofing needs!

  I had French Roofing come out to fix a small roof leak that was coming through an air vent in my mobile home. Sean came out right away and assessed it. He even helped me unclog a gutter drain spout. Brian from his team came out and replaced the faulty vent. All is good and the problem has gone away! They are good people and very experienced. Sean is a great guy and is truly passionate about his work. Their products have a strong warrantee that stays with the home owner. Highly recommended!

  Thank you Sean for your wonderful team that replaced our leaking skylight, and other repairs made on our home. Very affordable and relief of worries that our roof is secure over our heads. I highly recommend them to check out your roof. Very nice company to work with.

Late August is the turning point for Oregon roofs. The dry season is winding down, and September and October decide how your roof handles the winter, because whatever condition it's in when the rains start is the condition it fights winter in. The fall checklist we recommend: trim back branches that overhang the roof, which is the single best moss prevention there is, then clear the roof, valleys, and gutters after the big leaf-and-needle drop, and check the gutters again after the first real storm. Apply moss treatment before the wet season gives spores their opening, and fix small problems promptly, since a loose shingle in October becomes a leak in December. Going into the wet season with clear valleys, flowing gutters, and treated shingles prevents more damage than everything else on the calendar combined. For homeowners who would rather not track it themselves, our maintenance program includes two visits a year, one in spring and one in fall, with an inspection each time.
