  We’re sorry to hear you feel this way, as we always strive to provide clear communication and honest recommendations to every customer. At the time of our initial inspection, we communicated that your cedar shake roof was in excellent overall condition and did not require replacement. Based on that assessment, we recommended maintenance and repairs to help extend the life of the roof, including providing a 5-year roof certification. Regarding the repair costs, we honored the original quoted price despite the project taking place more than two years after the original inspection and estimate. Because of the significant time that had passed between the inspection and the work being performed, additional issues were identified once work began. As we discussed, given the length of time since our original inspection, additional repairs were a possibility. Once those issues were identified, we reviewed them with you and sought your approval before moving forward. These additional repairs were recommended to support the overall health and long-term performance of the roof. In our discussion with the buyer, we reviewed the work that had been completed and discussed the overall condition and expected life of the roof. We also shared our ongoing maintenance recommendations and provided estimated maintenance costs to help with future planning. At the buyer’s request, we provided an estimate for a full roof replacement. This was not a recommendation that the roof needed replacement, but simply a courtesy estimate for future reroof planning.   We have used Cedartech a couple times before this year and where happy with the work. But this year it was not good and not getting any better . They came and did work but I was not happy. They came out and looked at the job and said it was not good. They then sent a new crew out and repaired what the first crew did and cleaned the gutters( which the first crew did not do). While doing the repairs of the first crew they found more work that needed to be done. I agreed to pay for the new work and they said they will spray what they did that day when they come back. So I paid what the wanted for the job. The contract was signed 3/31/15. It is now 12/10/15 and no one has come back to spray what they did or to do the repairs that they said needed to be done. Also I have now had to clean 3 of the gutter down pipes that where pluged with wood from the roof. And I just found another today. None of them had had leaves just wood from the roof. We will not be using Cedartech again and will be paying someone to come and clean the rest of the gutters. Not sure what changed with this company but something has and not for the better.

  I had a simple repair that need to be corrected right away. The response from the front office to the crew that came out to my home was excellent. I will not hesitate to use Ceder Tech roofing again and refer people to this company for there roofing needs

  I was impressed with CedarTech and I would recommend them to anyone. Kevin, the owner, did the inspection and was very upfront and communicative. Yovani and his colleague (didn’t catch his name) were thorough and very hardworking. I met with multiple roofing companies before deciding on CedarTech. It was clear to me CedarTech was by far the most knowledgeable. I was impressed by the result, service, timeliness and cost efficiency of the project. I plan to use them again .

  Could not recommend cedar tech more! We have a gambrel a frame & they replaced some cedar shingles, as well as, a beautiful treatment. They matched our fence & specific aesthetic well and we will be using them in the future!
