  A major issue was communication on the job site. The crew members completing the work spoke very limited English, which made it extremely difficult to communicate concerns, ask questions, or address problems as they happened. This created additional frustration and made resolving issues during the project much more complicated than it should have been. Also, our rep/salesperson (will) phone got shut off during our project, leaving us scrambling to reach someone with the company.

  : I would strongly discourage anyone from using Freedom Roofing. This has been one of the worst contractor experiences I have ever dealt with. The project was delayed over and over again because they claimed supplies had not arrived. Weeks went by with little to no progress and very poor communication. Even worse, the job was never fully completed. At one point, the crew failed to properly secure the tarp on my roof before leaving, which resulted in rain getting into my home and causing interior water damage. Instead of taking responsibility and properly resolving the situation, I was left dealing with additional stress, repairs, and financial costs. Because the work remained unfinished, I had no choice but to hire another roofing company to complete and correct the job out of my own pocket. Despite this, they are still attempting to demand additional payment. I would recommend that anyone considering this company proceed with extreme caution. My experience involved delays, incomplete work, damage to my home, and unprofessional handling of the situation from start to finish. I’ve now included photos of rain coming in our home because freedom roofing DID NOT make it water tight when they left. We had no rain coming in prior to them being on the roof. Why lie in your response? I would much rather your company just take ownership. I can also include photos of material delivery MONTHS LATER if you want to continue lying. That’s a terrible look for a company.

  This client is a not being truthful and doing what ever she can to not pay her bill. There are several inaccuracies in this review, and we would like to provide a factual timeline of the project. The initial deposit was received on November 6, 2025. Materials for the flat roof were scheduled for delivery on December 18, and the roof installation was scheduled for December 27, a date confirmed by the homeowner. Given the winter season and holiday schedule in the Midwest, this was a reasonable timeline for project commencement. Prior to starting, the homeowner was advised that multiple roof layers might need to be removed. Once work began, our crew discovered extensive masonry and brick issues that needed to be addressed before the roofing work could proceed properly. A proposal for the masonry repairs was provided on January 2, 2026; however, the homeowner chose to hire his own contractor for that work. Because the masonry repairs were outside of our control, there were delays while we waited for the homeowner's contractor to complete the necessary work. We maintained communication throughout this period and stressed the importance of completing the masonry promptly so the roof could be closed in. After being informed that the masonry work was complete, we scheduled our crew for January 16, 2026. Upon arrival, the crew determined that the masonry repairs were still insufficient and prevented proper roof installation. On January 23, the homeowner confirmed that his masonry contractor would need to perform additional repairs. A winter storm followed shortly thereafter, further impacting scheduling. On February 4, 2026, the homeowner confirmed the masonry work was complete, and the roof was scheduled and completed on February 10, 2026. During the project, additional unforeseen conditions were discovered, including multiple roof layers, significant wood replacement, and gravel removal.   Gave me a quote for a project, and I signed the quote and tried to pay and they started delaying. They said someone would need to come back out to make sure that I did not need an engineer. They came back out and indicated that they had underbid the job by several thousand dollars. I told them I wanted to go in a different direction that was not spending over $15,000 to repair a decorative overhang. I asked about removing the overhangs instead of repairing them. They said they would send an engineer back out to get a quote for this and then started putting me off and eventually ghosted me.

  Were sorry about your experience. We did refund any deposits and were not able to take the project. It was more complicated project then we anticipated. We will strive to be better.

  This is our first time working with Freedom. From the beginning they did an excellent job of keeping us updated on the progress and advocating for us as needed with insurance and material suppliers. They have also worked to ensure our satisfaction with the project even going so far as to do a bit of extra polishing to make the house look better. We are very happy with the work and recommend them!

  My experience with Freedom Roofing Group was exceptional. Rob was amazing to work with on both projects; He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with the process from start to finish, and indeed we were. Rob and the entire staff were always pleasant and helpful. It's difficult to find contractors who truly care about their clients; but, I found it with Freedom Roofing Group. Both of my roofs look fantastic and the service was great. I will definitely recommend.

  I cannot express with words how satisfying and refreshing it was to work with Freedom Roofing Group! From the assistance they provided when guiding me through the process with my insurance company, the communication through every step, the incredible clean up after the roof was on, and even the follow up when everything was done, professional and reliable the entire way through! I haven’t seen a company that genuinely seemed to care 100% about customer satisfaction over making a quick buck in a long time, but that is what i saw with Freedom Roofing Group! I definitely recommend this company!
