  Terrible experience!!! The owners wife is a crazy old Karen. Our contract stated they would remove nails and debris from the roof tear off and new install. They left all of the nails in our yard and driveway. I had to get an entire set of new tires. I spent 3 hours with a magnet and ended up collecting almost half a gallon of nails and staples. When I called to tell them what had happened I was cussed out by the owners wife. Avoid these people!

  Do NOT use them for gutter work. I had them replace the gutters on my house and they used cheap box mitres without saying that anywhere on the quote or during my phone calls with them. Corners leak even after being back three separate times …

  Shoddy workmanship gutters leak installed by amateur workers, they don’t stand behind their work. Same to be said about siding installation not nailed properly nails and siding fell off

  Still waiting 6 months later after the storm to get my roof done. Was told by Don right after the storm they were 3 weeks out to get my roof done. Called 2 months later in November talked to receptionist to see what was going on, was asked for contract and was told she would get with the guys and find out a estimate on date they would get over to so my roof and get back to me over email. No response emailed her back 2 weeks later and was told she didn’t know . Waited tell spring because I figured at this point I couldn’t find a available roofer in the area so I’m stuck. called back beginning of March same receptionist same run around asking to see contract telling me they will get back to me they don’t know what’s going on with the shop (REALLY?) No response. messaged back again a week after that told the same thing from receptionist they will get back to me.. still waiting 6 months later for my roof to be done

  Dude driving down Wilson road by the Hy-Vee 4/30/20 about 11:00 am. Four star truck, one person driver. Honking at a slow car in front of him. Tore around the car spinning his wheels and sped off.

  Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced by calling to schedule a new project. Was literally told they are too busy to call me back within the week. When I expressed concerns of them being too busy to call me and needing to find another company to do the work the lady said “Okay that’s fine”. -Lost business over terrible customer service.

  They did my roof before the deratio,I losted some shingles they fixed it with no cost to me, over the years I've had them do all my roofs and they did them at reasonable price and stood behind their work

  Mike and the men did an excellent job on our roof. It was a complete tear off and reshingle in 1.5 days' time. They came highly recommended from another customer, which I would also say the same thing. Great job, guys! Awesome price and warranty on the shingles.

  Four Star recently completed some "high altitude" work to replace wind damaged siding on our home in Linn County. They responded promptly and professionally to our request for an estimate and worked with the insurance adjuster. The siding work, along with some aluminum trim replacement, was completed in a timely manner. I wish I had contacted Four Star first.
