0/0 would not recommend. Be weary of the number of recent 5 star reviews from users with little to no prior reviews…… Fortitude is one of the roofing companies contributing to the culture of unprofessionalism and untrustworthiness in roofers. The owners are hostile, their efforts to resolve issues are disingenuous and they refuse to stand behind the quality of their company’s work. I recommend protecting your peace of mind and taking your money to another roofing company.

Corinne, I'm sorry this ended where it did, and the offer to help still stands. For context: we installed this roof in 2023 for the home's previous owner. Corinne purchased the property afterward and was not our original customer. Workmanship warranties are generally tied to the original owner and don't transfer at sale — we looked at it anyway, because that's how we'd want to be treated. Our inspection found heavy pine needle and debris buildup in the valleys and low-slope areas, blocking drainage at the exact spots where water was entering. Those same interior areas were documented with water damage in our 2023 pre-installation inspection, before we ever touched the roof. We offered to lift roughly 600 sq ft of tile, install new underlayment, and reset it — at a 75% discount, absorbing most of the material cost ourselves. We asked only that the roof be cleared of debris first, since it will keep causing problems otherwise. Our schedule was genuinely full at the time and I understand six weeks felt too long. That's a fair frustration. On our reviews: every one is verified through RealWork and matched to a confirmed customer and a real job we completed. You can see them all at fortituderoofing.com/recent-projects — photos, locations, and dates for every project. The offer is still open. If you want to get this resolved, call me directly at (725) 233-0251 and ask for Lee. I'd rather fix your roof than trade posts. — Lee Barber, Owner, Fortitude Roofing

Hi Tim, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I personally called you back, the owner instead of a receptionist, to address your concerns and apologize for the email issue with our phone system. This was the first time we've received this type of feedback. Unfortunately, immediately upon answering you were upset over not spelling your email correct, despite my efforts to resolve the matter courteously. While we regret any inconvenience, we also believe it's important that both parties feel comfortable working together. Given your strong comments that we “can’t be trusted” with your roof due to a misspelling of your email, we both agree this isn’t the right fit. We wish you the best in finding a roofing company that meets your expectations. We stand behind the quality of our work and continue to deliver excellent results for our customers as you can see reflected in all of our reviews. Thanks again, sorry we couldn't accomodate your requests.

Dear Cinthya, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your experience with us. We genuinely value all customer input, as it helps us improve our services. I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by moving your vehicle out of the driveway. While we appreciate that you moved your car and we didn't end up needing a dumpster on a small job like yours, we understand that even minor inconveniences can be frustrating. It appears our estimator said the crew did need access in order to dump the materials, but instead they walked it over to the truck. This is the first time receiving a complaint about this, so I have advised the estimator to confirm first with the foreman on the job if the driveway is needed. Almost all jobs we must place a dumpster in the driveway unless it's minor repairs such as yours. We had your project scheduled for 06/25. Unfortunately, you are correct, our foreman was involved in an auto accident on the freeway. The safety of our employees and members of the community always has to be paramount, so unfortuantely we did need to move some things around on the schedule. We returned just 2 days later on 06/27 and completed the project. The miscommunication in start time is on us. I know the CRM we use sends an automated email that provides a time window. On majority of projects, this time window is always fulfilled but when the crew has multiple small repairs on the same day, arrival time can change periodically. This should have been communicated they were running behind. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience. I have reiterated with our team members how strict arrival times need to be adhered to or communicated to our homeowners immediately if any changes arise. Regarding the mess in your backyard, we strive to leave every site clean and tidy, and I regret that you felt otherwise. We always encourage our customers to bring any concerns to our attention during or right after work, as we resolve any issues promptly

Hello Donna. Our roofing inspection truck is fully equipped with a ladder and tools. Our roofing inspector came to your home to do a roof inspection and you asked him to fix your roof tiles for free. After you insisted he fix one of the tiles for free (which he did) you produced another tile and asked him to install it which would have required cutting tools carried by our roofing crews. It's a shame that people like you will post a false review because you were trying to scam us out of free work. The mud here is on your face Donna. Our reviews by real customers show the true light of who Fortitude Roofing is.

Hi Justin — I'm sorry we couldn't take on your project, and I understand the frustration of being turned away. When we decline a job, it's usually because it falls outside the scope we're set up to do well, and we'd rather be upfront than take on work we can't give our full attention. I know that's disappointing when you're looking for help. If your needs have changed or you'd like a second look, you're welcome to reach us at (725) 233-0251. — Lee, Owner, Fortitude Roofing

Joseph was the best part of Fortitude Roofing. He should actually own and run the company. As for Lee, he is unprofessional and unfortunately my husband and him did get into a very heated argument. Words were exchanged and Lee, knowing that my husband was upset, continued to bait him like a juvenile. We hired Fortitude based on the 5 star review and how helpful Joseph and Cherie were in providing assistance. I received a quote via email and then another letter via email stating that the work would begin at 7am. The workers did not show up until about 10:45am and were completed by 1pm (please see the fantastic photos attached of the wonderful work they did- NOT). I understand that service people have a window to come out to do a job. However, on my letter it stated 7am, not 7-10am or 7-11am. It clearly stated 7am, but Lee argued with me that they have a window of time. I said that should have been indicated then. Also, they used extra contractors in from California to do the job, so not even Henderson or Las Vegas employees.(I could not communicate with them on progress because they didn't understand English and I didn't understand Spanish or whatever they were speaking). My husband came home to a mess in the driveway. Empty energy drink cans, old nails all over, and debris from the roof. My husband is a contractor and at one point in his life had his own business, this made him very angry as he always cleans up his mess. Then when he saw the roof, he pretty much was on the edge. How can this company claim this is professional? Maybe it was just a blow-by job because it was an insurance claim, but still the amount of unprofessionalism and attitude that both my husband and I received from Lee was unacceptable. If, big IF, my husband called Lee a little kid, then he probably deserved being called that because nothing about this company other than Joseph was professional. My insurance company is shocked at these photos and the Nevada Department of Insurance Complaints i

Thank you for your taking the time to share your feedback. We would like to address some concerns you raised in your review. While we understand that you were dissatisfied with the service you received and we apologize, it’s important to note there are important details missing from your account of the situation. Your husband was extremely emotional which made it very difficult to provide the level service which we normally do. His disrespectful and threatening behavior from the beginning created an unsavory exchange. We strive to remain calm and respectful but we have a zero-tolerance policy for abusive language or threats. At that time Lee explained we will not tolerate that behavior to which your husband continued to escalate by yelling even louder. Regarding the statement we use subcontractors, that is 100% false. Every individual that worked on your home is directly employed by Fortitude Roofing. We are family owned and vertically integrated. We acknowledge your concern regarding the language barrier. The roofers primary responsibility is to perform work on your roof. We advise them not to discuss concerns with customers and direct them to our administrative personnel, equipped to make decisions. Joseph and Chere, as you stated yourself, both communicated with you professionally during the entire process. Regarding the email you received with your arrival time, this is an automated email sent from our CRM. We have since corrected it to show the entire window time frame. We were unaware it was only showing the start of the time window and once brought to our attention, we quickly corrected it as we understand the importance of setting clear expectations. When your job was originally bid back in 09/2023, we were in the process of transitioning to a new estimator, Joseph. One of the reasons our original estimator was replaced was due to his lapse in judgment in his assessments. Your patio was constructed in 1972, roughly 50 years ago, it was in poor condit

Updated review. At first I really thought this company cared about their customers, but sadly once they receive your money, they blatantly ignore your phone calls. I had a leak after our roof was completed. We had it on our radar that there might be an issue in that area…Santiago offered to come back at no charge, but we would have to remove our air duct. Once I got quotes from the AC company, Santiago vanished. Two months of unanswered calls and texts and I still have a leak. Note to Santiago…we don’t stop being your customer once you get paid! Santiago and his team were fantastic! They came back multiple times to make sure everything was right with our project. It was a challenge ,but in the end it all worked out! Will definitely use again and I have already referred them to anyone looking for a reliable roofing company. Thank you guys!

As a real estate professional in the business for over 35 years we are always looking for good trustworthy contractors to provide quality service for our clients. David, this one means a lot coming from you. Thirty-five years in real estate means you've watched a lot of contractors come and go — and you've seen what happens when the wrong one shows up at a client's property. Knowing you've sent people our way over the years, and that we've held up each time, is the standard we're trying to hit. Whether it's a few tiles or the thing someone's been putting off, we'll take care of your clients the same way we'd take care of our own. Appreciate you, David. — Lee Barber, Owner, Fortitude Roofing

I tried calling a few places to get a rough price, but it was a total headache getting anyone on the line or even an estimate. Getting in touch with Fortitude Roofing was a nice relief—the person I spoke to was super professional and on top of things, and she made sure to promise me a quick follow-up. The scheduling process was pretty quick. The office got back to me just 10 minutes later saying an inspector was nearby and could swing by. I got super lucky with the timing, and they let me know Lee would be there soon to check out my roof. Really impressed with how fast and professional they were (Results may very on scheduling). Lee showed up with his colleague just ten minutes later to check things out. Lee was informed I was looking at a full roof replacement since my place still has the original cement tiles from '89. I also mentioned I’ve got one active leak—which is definitely one too many. After the inspection was completed, I thought I was going to hear a sale pitch blah blah. Nope, he was the most up front, to the point type of contractor I've met - and I'm an Insurance Adjuster by trade; I've heard some shit haha. Lee explained based on the inspection, there is wear & tear which is normal, discoloration (good ol Vegas sun), slipping of the cement tiles, some cracks, but does not warrant a full roof replacement but instead full reset and replace (using the same tiles, new underlayment, new battens, replace the cracked tiles etc). "I want to save you money and I'm not going to sell you something you don't need," That took me back a little honestly from a contactor. We discussed the type of payment options they offered, and signed the contract - They start Monday (Once again, I lucked out in timing). I will update and post photos when cert of completion is issued.

Manny — this means a lot, especially coming from someone who sees roofing claims for a living. You're right that a lot of your roof had life left in it, and a full reset with new underlayment and battens was the honest call, not a full replacement. I'd rather save you money and earn the referral than sell you something you don't need. We'll take good care of you starting Monday — thanks for trusting us, and looking forward to those completion photos. — Lee, Owner, Fortitude Roofing
