  Had two rows of shingles replaced and several feet of gutter along the front. Guys tracked tar around my drive and newly poured patio, hung the downspout crooked, neglected to replace old flashing, and at the next winter melt the gutters leaked. The whole thing was a total runaround and hassle for a little job. At least the service agents were cute… but I still will not be recommending you.

  I had problem after problem with Formula Roofing. Just a couple of examples. After showing the rep my roof we scheduled an appointment for him to come back and complete the contract. Instead of arriving with a contract all he had was his phone. For over a hour I had to give him information while he slowly typed it into his phone. Several times we had to start over after he lost the data. Much of this information I had already gave him during the roof inspection and he had even written it down. During the roofing job I had to watch them like a hawk because they were doing things like throwing materials off the roof and letting it slam into the side of my home damaging the paint and siding. Communicating with the workers was not possible since not a one spoke rudimentary English. They were also peeing on the side of my house instead of finding a bush. When they were done they left nails, debris, and hundreds of dollars of unused roofing supplies. I had to call several times to get them to come back. When they finally came back they took the unused roofing supplies, but left most of the mess. There were several errors with their quote that I did not realize until later. Which turned into a fight to get corrected. Jeff ever is a pseudonym to protect my privacy on the internet.

  Hello everyone seeing this, I recently was looking through my reviews and found this, I never used this company, EVER. I believe I was hacked because I only put a few words, which most of the time I never do. Overall really shady company and I'm changing my password after I leave this. I would not trust this company if they're willing to hack accounts just to get reviews

  I wasn't going to write a review but Formula finally sent me over the edge and now I need to. The thing that finally got me was the "thank you" card written to HARRY LAU.....my name is Larry Hau and always has been on all the paperwork I signed and the 20+ emails I had to send to fix my job. Here's why that little thing sent me over the edge. I reached out to Formula about repairing concrete tiles on my roof. The estimate went great. Clear statement of the problem, options for me to choose from and even other information about my roof and things I didn't need to fix. Overall, very happy. That was October 2025. The actual job took some scheduling but also happened in October. They missed the first scheduled day but no big deal, honestly. They had to return another day because they hadn't been given sufficient tiles but again, not too bad. The problem was that something like half the tiles were not replaced or repaired. I reached out to Formula and they were more than obliging in sending someone back out to fix the broken tiles. Again, not a big deal. Sometimes things happen although this was now the third trip out and was starting to get annoying. On this fourth and final trip, there were a few parts I felt were questionable and I will give Formula credit, they were willing to come out and do some minor work on those to improve them. However, the previous guy had left a tool on the roof so…he had to come out to get that anyway…. The entire process took around four months due to long lags in return trips (and number of return trips) and even communication. All through this time, I was getting pinged for invoices that I needed to pay when I considered the job incomplete. While I appreciate their willingness to fix things, I think you can only have so many errors before it becomes a problem. That card, with my name misspelled on it, was just the thing that sent me over the edge after months of waiting and fixing and waiting.

  I cannot in good conscience leave a positive review right now because this project is still not finished after more than a year. We are stuck on three small but critical things: replacing the garage doors, installing a sliding door, and fixing one window. These should not take this long. I’ve spoken with who I believe is the highest person in charge, and while promises were made to keep us updated, I have heard nothing in weeks. The insurance company says they’ve already paid out everything and that it’s up to your team to finish the work. Yet here we are, still waiting. This has been so slow and dragged out that we almost lost our home. That is how serious this is. I am beyond frustrated and heartbroken that something that should have been resolved months ago is still hanging over us. Until the work is completed, I cannot give a positive review. If anyone at this company has the power to make things right, please act now — because this has gone on far too long.

  Lawrence was easy to communicate with when I reached out to him. Unfortunately, he was often uninformed about my roof replacement. He sub- contracted the job out and never advised me of this. I live out of country and thus our communications were based on third hand information. I had my rep living on site and he provided me with daily video and photos. Formula's input was from his sub contractor so Formula was not hands on with the actual job. The sub did a poor job. They worked in mass and just wanted to get in and out. That being said, they did follow up but the process was cumbersome. Ultimately the job was completed in a mediocre condition.

  Never bothered to check the upper crawl space to see if new decking would be needed. Then told me price was increased for new decking once they started the job, then billed a larger amount than estimated and then based on my experience told they would just bill me cost, but said the cost was higher than the verbal. Just felt like they dropped the ball multiple times and misled me. Would not recommend them.

  Needed a new sliding back door and Formula delivered, would absolutely and plan to go back to them for other remodeling needs. Working with Tynan made the process easy and he insured no detail went unfinished. They were prompt, communicative, priced right, and dependable every step of the way. 10/10, will likely be going through them for my roof soon given how well this experience went.

  Mark at Formula helped me out a ton, from helping me get my insurer to pay up, reroofing our house and helping with some new siding. The warranty from Formula roofing is also excellent. Very happy to have worked with them.

  My project with Formula Roofing was a great success!! Josh, the project manager, was amazing to work with - patient, collaborative and knowledgeable from the estimating process to completion. New skylights, metal soffits and fascia, and new gutters - a real facelift for my property. The job was completed by a respectful and courteous team within the estimated timeframe. I would recommend formula roofing for any work they provide.

  Had an insurance claim for hail damage on the roof, windows, etc. Tynan was awesome work with. Tynan assessed the damage quite well and we were able to get more work done than expected from the insurance assessment. The work was done quickly, with ease and he communicated everything through the whole process. 10/10
