i have read some of the reviews and honestly do not understand the lower ratings. over the years, this roofing company has completed several projects at my house in Pasadena, and every experience has been very positive. douglas handled almost every estimate, and to be very clear, douglas and the crew know roofing and exterior work very well. they do not waste your time, they explain what is needed, and they will also tell you when a repair or replacement is not necessary. that kind of honesty is rare in the roofer business. i always suggest getting quotes from other contractors, but this company stayed one of the most competitive and straightforward with pricing, with no upselling. they replaced my roof with outstanding workmanship, and when the job was finished, the cleanup was excellent. i did not find stray nails or old roofing material around the property. they also installed my gutters, and the work was efficient, on schedule, and fit well with my budget and overall plan. i appreciated that they listened to what i wanted, helped phase the installation around another home project, and kept communication clear from start to finish. later, they added gutter guards, and once again the service was excellent. i was even advised against using one product because their knowledge of roof drainage, debris protection, and product performance showed it would not be the best choice. that honesty gave me even more confidence in their recommendations. most recently, i had a front entry door installed, and douglas walked me through the options and helped me get exactly what i needed without trying to sell extras. the installation was done the right way, and they also corrected a small framing issue left behind from the original builder. bottom line, i do not understand the low ratings. this is an outstanding local roofer and exterior contractor, and you can expect durable materials, solid craftsmanship, fair pricing, and quality results that hold up well in the Pasadena heat.

We cannot say enough good things about this roofing and exterior team. Douglas came out to give us an estimate for our gutters and related exterior work. He took the time to walk us through everything, explain the process clearly, and make sure we understood the materials, timeline, and what to expect. They were patient and never pushy while we took some time to make our final decision. Once we were ready to move forward, they reviewed the scope again, answered our questions, and kept us updated on scheduling and lead times. They even let us know when an opening came up, which helped get the work started sooner than expected. The crew showed up on time each day, worked hard, did excellent workmanship, and cleaned up the property very well when the job was done. The finished result looks fantastic and really improved the appearance of our home. We have received many compliments from people who have seen it in person and in photos. Great communication, quality roofing and exterior service, and a smooth experience from start to finish. We will gladly recommend them and use them again.

i almost never leave reviews, but i wanted to share this because I was truly impressed with Florentino & Sons Roofing & Remodeling. This was my first roof replacement, and I felt nervous at first because I had heard plenty of bad stories about roofers. i picked them after seeing strong feedback, and they absolutely lived up to it. douglas handled the account side and Douglas managed the roofing project, and both were professional, easy to reach, and very efficient. There were a few questions during my roof replacement because my insurance claim contact was unavailable when the job began. Thanks to the detailed photos, clear paperwork, and steady communication from the crew, my insurance claim ended up being fully approved. While the roofing work was in progress, I could not get advice from my insurance contact, so Douglas walked me through my options, explained the process in simple terms, and helped me make the right choice. i followed that guidance, and everything worked out well in the end. The new roof looks great, the job site was kept clean, and the whole process felt smooth and well organized. i would gladly recommend them to anyone needing roofing or storm-related roof work.

The roofing crew did an excellent job, even better than I expected. I had a leak and drainage issue around the doghouse area that had been a problem for a long time, and I knew that section of the roof needed a better solution. Douglas took …
