Would not hire this company I paid almost $20,000 for a new rood and they did not do what they said they were going to do and my rood still leaks the same as it did before I paid this company to do a tearoff and reroof and he will not answer any phone calls or text messages.

They seem professional and trustworthy... I paid for a two year warranty, and less than one year later, the roof leaks like a sieve. (But it really is a very old roof) I have had a lot of difficulty getting him to respond to my calls. Finally, after almost a whole week of leaking and dripping, I had to hire another company, and it cost me $300 bucks.

My experience with Tim at flat top roofing was what you might expect from a contractor who keeps a crew year round, a bit of wait time up front to get fit into the schedule as he runs a smaller crew and wants to keep them working so that's how it goes, get in line people! Once my number was up the work was completed in a very timely manner. The follow up was fast there were issues that have come up, standard issues that most would expect with the style of roof being serviced. Each time I called the issue was resolved fast, not weeks but next day or less than one week, these were non emergency issues and were resolved quickly. Communication was easy with text and phone messages. Tim hooked us up in the dead of winter and I would recommend any one with a flat roof that needs some love, to get a bid. Tim also listened to my opinions on chimney flashing concerns and he told and showed me how he approaches that part of the job and again I am satisfied with how he did it. There were zero issues with chimney leaks in case you were wondering. My issues were with how the water ran off the roof and boom fixed like a ninja as promised. It didn't hit the gutter the way I wanted, adjustment made and it was fixed. The other issue was a pooling of water in an area, kind of tough to figure that out in December so again months later call and it's fixed. Hope this review helps someone because I was sure our roof job was going to be a nightmare but it's been great.

I enjoy reading a review like this sometimes as much as the ones that went completely smooth. Over the years I have had a customer or two say, "I couldn't reach you and you ignored my calls and were not there for me after the repair and or application was complete". Then proceeded to leave a bad review or comment. That has and will never will be the case. You described perfectly what we take pride in at Flattop Roofing Inc. Sometimes there are issues that happen and or arise, and we address them and stay on them until we complete things like they should be. Thank you for your honest and detailed review. Also thank you for your Ideas, input, and help in working with my crew as well as myself in getting things dialed in and finished as needed. I appreciate you so much, thank you.
