ZERO is an understatement. I reached out and shared what I was looking for and Lani responded so unprofessional and took a personal attach on me. Never reached out to get a clear understanding, and was very petty. If this is a voice of your company, it does not say much, and a poor representation of this company. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I have the email to prove how simple she was.

First of all, here is what this homeowner wrote when requesting an estimate from our company: "Looking for top quality product, warrant, fair pricing and discounts available for retired Air Force Vet and senior discounts. Not looking for someone to gauge me, I know what price range is a fair price for my property size." Here is my reply: "Sir (the name showed up as Vern), your email is insulting to me and my company and suggest you find a different roofing company to insult. Your attitude is unacceptable and I would not be interested in working with you. Here is her first and only reply directly to me: "No problem, you took it in the wrong way. That was not my intention. Again , I do apologize. Thanks! Verna" Friends, when someone starts a conversation with me by implying that they are warning me not to try and "gouge" them, because they they have done their homework and know what a fair price is for a new roof installation - then I find that offensive. We are a custom roofing company and when a person starts a conversation schooling me about not trying to "gouge" them - then that conversation is over at that point. Now, if you will look at the 5 star review that was posted right before this person's post, you will see how people are treated by me and our company when we are treated with respect. I purchased a new roof with architectural shingles on 12/21/20ll. It was supposed to last at least 30 years. Old man Finley was running the company then. It's now a corporate run entity. I began having problems with my roof in the 11th year, right after the warranty expired. Finley came out and did the repair. I had to call them back when I noticed the replacement shingles were not close to matching the original shingles. I've had problems every year since with their shingle nails rusted out and new leaks. I called them out a few months ago and their roofer crawled in my attic and told me my roof was fine, but the leaks were caused by animals inside the attic. At first, he tried to sell me an entire roof saying roofs only last about 10 years. Then he said he could replace the roof on the back side of the house. Then he told me my roof was fine but animals had caused the spots on my ceiling. I had my pest control company, and another one come out and look for signs of rodent infestation. Neither company found signs of rodents. Then we had some big rains and new spots on my ceiling appeared clearly indicating roof leaks in 3 areas. Finley's roof is CRAP and more like a sieve than a roof after only 13 years. RUN from this company!

A. Miller, this is NOT MY COMPANY! You have posted this terrible review on the wrong company. My company is "Finley's Roofing, Inc." and you have never been one of our customers. You might want to try "Findlay Roofing" the "Roof Roof" company and see if they installed your roof. People get us confused everyday. But if you do not retract this review immediately, I will seek legal damages. If you want to contact me and get this straightened out before I have my attorney contact you, then call me at 770-262-7375. Otherwise, I will see you in court. This company does not uphold their warranties and the owner is rude. Save yourself future issues and call another reputable company.

We take all feedback seriously and would like to address the comments made by the reviewer. Here is the account as it actually unfolded. Our company installed a new roof and gutter system on this property nearly 10 years ago, transforming it into a quaint and charming home. Recently, after the severe hurricanes struck Atlanta in October 2024, we were contacted about a roof leak on this property. Despite being overwhelmed with storm-related repair requests, I told the owner's son that we would inspect the property as soon as possible. Upon arrival, our repair manager was shocked to find the roof covered in approximately 3 inches of pine straw, along with decayed and broken wooden gable vents laying on the roof system. These conditions voided our warranty, as clearly stated in our terms, which specify that debris must not be allowed to accumulate on the roof and the roof system must be maintained. Out of concern for our team’s safety, we declined to perform any repairs, as the roof’s structural integrity appeared compromised due to years of neglect. The property manager, who wrote this review, contacted us again a few days later, unfortunately using a tone and attitude we found unacceptable and I ended the conversation. While we aim to assist every customer, our policies are in place to ensure fairness and safety for all parties. We invite anyone reading this review and our reply, to explore our other reviews, which truly reflects our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Sincerely, Lani Finley/Finley's Roofing, Inc.

Lani Finley is a pleasant enough man when he wants to get your business but not so much if you need him for issues after your roof has been completed. He offers a 10 year workmanship warranty, which is great but what’s the point if you have to jump through hoops to get him out. My roof was completed back in 2017 and in eight years after my roof was completed, I called him on two roofing issues. In both cases the first thing he tries to do is blame it on squirrels or racoons. Neither was the case. In the first case I called him because I noticed the bottom layer of a few shingles on the back of the house bunching up, shifting out of place. Why, because they had not been properly attached to the roof. How do I know this? Because I watched Leandro (I believe this is his name) pull them off the roof like a piece of paper from a coffee table with no resistance. I even checked them when they hit the ground. There were no indications on some to show ripping from attachment points and Leandro confirmed as much. This was definitely a workmanship issue. The problem was resolved and I moved on. Now recently the second case. I was hearing loud noises coming from my roof. When I investigated, I could see two gutter covers had come loose from the back end. The way these are held down is they are tucked under the first or bottom layer of the installed shingle. When I first called Lani on this, I immediately started getting the run-around, “My guys are out of town”, “It’s going to take a couple of weeks”, “was it squirrels or raccoons”. As the calls progressed through the day and pictures were sent, I was getting reassured that there were not any real concerns because there should be no roof leaking etc., etc. The feeling I was getting was that there were no concerns and he will get to it when he gets to it. About a week later I call him again to get some kind of confirmation that he is on this and it will be taken care of. My thoughts were why did these gutter covers come up? Was

Dear Mr. Homeowner, It’s unfortunate that you feel the need to misrepresent the facts and publicly attack our company despite our repeated efforts to assist you —even beyond what any reasonable contractor would do. Your Roof Installation (2017) – You were completely satisfied with the installation itself, and your dissatisfaction stemmed from something entirely unrelated: the tracks left by a delivery truck on a public easement, which was not our responsibility. Nevertheless, you left a negative review back then, not about the roof, but about the truck that delivered the shingles. Your First Concern (2024, Seven Years Later) – You requested an inspection of some shingles at the edge of your home. The issue was caused by your gutter covers being installed too high, which damaged the shingles. Despite this being a gutter installation issue and not a roofing issue, we repaired it for you at no charge. Your Second Concern (2025, Eight Years Later) – You contacted us about something flapping in the wind. After reviewing photos, it was clear that the issue was with your gutter toppers—not your roof. Our company did not install these, and they are completely separate from our workmanship. The photos the Homeowner posted shows what happened to his gutter covers 8 years after we installed his roof. If we had left the property in this condition, then he would have said something before he paid our company. But these gutter covers certainly were not left like this when we completed his roof job. With his temper, he would have complained right away, not 8 years later. We did not install his gutter system and have no responsibility for it. However, out of kindness and understanding of his physical limitations, I offered to send my team in two weeks, free of charge. This was not a warranty issue, just a courtesy. The Homeowner's Unreasonable Demands & Insults – When he called again, demanding immediate service for an issue that was not related to our wor

The customer service for my install was the worst there was no communication from the sales rep. And in spite of giving them a date a whole month out scheduling for the roof and the gutters still dint happen on the same day and the gutters weren’t scheduled at all had to call them to set it up again. The crew that worked on the roof did do a good job. I did find a couple nails in the driveway but I expected that. Overall satisfied with the work definitely not satisfied with The level of customer service they gave

This is not our customer!!! I have never heard of this person and I have reported this erroneous review to Google. I also entered this person's name on Google search and there was no such person found in Georgia, which leads me to believe that it might be a scam. But just in case it is a legitimate error, this person should contact me at 770.262.7375 and I may be able to direct him to the correct company. Lani Finley/President/Finley's Roofing, Inc.

I had my roof replaced. 1) The crew that came put protection on the side of the hpuse some places to catch the old shingles, but they nailed into the brick, now I have duty nails in the sides of the houses. 2) On the sides of the roof, there are lips on the sides. I'm not sure if that is a good idea or not. 3) When blowing off the roof, they blew the nails left over into the gutter. I had thought to make it easier to collect, but they blew them into the down spots, gone somewhere forever. I watched a "supervisor correct a worker on the crew because he did not nail down many shingles; he walked over and just pulled them out. Makes me wonder if or how many were not nailed in by this guy. I also had a rep come out and ask him about the venting in the roof with a cathedral ceiling if it needs to be vented. He did not know the codes.

Mr. Allen, you have placed your review on the wrong company. We are Finley's Roofing, Inc. and you are not one or our customers. Maybe you would like to see if "Findlay Roofing" - the "Roof Roof" company installed your roof. But whatever the case, I would appreciate it if you would remove this unflattering review from my Google Review Page as quickly as possible. Lani Finley/Owner Finley's Roofing, Inc. 770-262-7375

My wife and I were so pleased with our experience. Mr. Finley himself was involved with every step of the process. He answered our initial phone call, he gave us an estimate, he came and spent time with us, teaching us about roofing and materials, what products were available, what he recommended and why. He coached us through every step of what we needed to do. Throughout the process he answered our questions, kept us informed regarding time lines and made sure we were satisfied the whole time. One thing that impressed us the most was that during our consultation he says he didn’t care about being the biggest company, he just wanted to be the best. And he and his crew achieved that goal - no corners were cut, the crew worked with exceptionalism - not in a hurry, making sure things were done right. A roof is a huge, long-term purchase. We so appreciate Mr. Finley and his company for understanding that and for truly being the best.

Kevin, thank you so much for such a fantastic and detailed review! It truly means a lot to hear how pleased you and your wife were with the entire experience. From the very first call to the final cleanup, it was an absolute pleasure to work with you both. I'm especially grateful you took note of the time we spent going over materials, options, and recommendations. We take a lot of pride in helping homeowners feel confident in every step of the process—and your words affirm that mission in the best way possible. Your comments about our crew’s workmanship and commitment to excellence really made our day. We may not aim to be the biggest roofing company out there, but we absolutely strive to be the best—and I’m thrilled to know that came through clearly in your experience. Thank you again for putting your trust in Finley’s Roofing. We’re honored to have earned your business! Warmest regards, Lani Finley Owner, Finley’s Roofing, Inc.

Had my roof replaced after receiving storm damage earlier this year. Finley came out, broke down everything they will do and why. Once the material arrived they immediately got to work and got it done fast. Their team did great, cleaned up nicely after their work, and checked on me later to make sure the roof was still to my satisfaction. I would recommend Finley for all roof repairs or replacements. Best price/value!

From start to finish Finley's Roofing made this a very easy process. Mr. Finley visited my home for over an hour, provided me with plenty of information and details to assist in my decision making. After several weeks of entertaining other Roofing Companies, there was no need to search any further. I realized Mr. Finley's personal touch, sincere salesmanship and commitment to his product and company sealed the deal. Everything ran on time. The guys doing the work were efficient and excellent tradesman. I appreciate the hard work and great craftsmanship. Now I can sit back for the next 30+ years knowing my roof was constructed with some of the best materials available today, is fully warrantied and installed by a company that has been doing this work for over 70 years. My sincere gratitude to Mr. Finely. It's a good feeling to know there are still a few honest and respectable companies of this size still doing business in the metro Atlanta area. Thank you again Lani for everything.

Finley Roofing is a wonderful company to do business with. The owner provided a complete written estimate of the products and work to be completed at the outset and the crew was OUTSTANDING. They cleaned up at the end of each work day so that exiting my house was not an issue with debris and roofing nails for myself or my dog. All work was done to the specifications provided and no short cuts taken. It was easy to communicate with the crew and the owner was in contact with me during the process to be sure all was going well and that I was satisfied. This was the best decision I could have made!
