For those who prefer the short version of reviews: I would give Finished Work Roofing 10 stars. I have been in the fire service for almost 20 years and have developed and trained rescue teams for high-profile incidents. When Skyler's crews arrived, they went straight to work like a cohesive, efficient team—very little talking, just focused execution. They were fast, professional, and efficient. They were not there to milk the clock, they were there to complete the job correctly, no matter the task. Skyler, Troy, and James, I'm not sure how to thank each of you. The amount of time and effort that Finished Work as a whole invested in our home leaves me speechless. They worked with my insurance company for months while also negotiating issues created by a different contractor who had completed poor-quality work. They kept me informed every step of the way, arrived when scheduled, and when they said something was going to happen, it happened. No BS, no extra fluff—just genuine people focused on what matters most: helping people and building relationships. Navy SEALs are selected from hundreds of candidates based on a few key qualities, including performance and trust. Of those, trust is the most important because it is built slowly over time. I can say without hesitation that I trust Skyler's team and Finished Work Roofing to handle any job. The standard of craftsmanship expected by Skyler is exceptionally high, and his crews consistently exceed expectations. To feel safe and secure in life, you need a few things: food, intimacy, and shelter. You helped make my shelter whole again during a difficult season of my life and after several challenging years. I am truly thankful for each of you.

Ethan stopped by after noticing a large fallen branch from my live oak on my roof. He offered to climb up on the roof and perform a COMPLIMENTARY roof inspection, and also remove fallen branch, haul it off, and sweep the fallen debris up as …

I was surprised when they tested drainage by simulating water flow instead of just relying on visual inspection. That helped them identify a corner where water was pooling silently, even though it looked fine from the outside. That method felt very practical and accurate.

I really did my homework before starting my roofing project. I knew I wanted at least 24 gauge standing seam metal. The tricky part is that I also wanted it to be insulated and vented and wanted to use my choice of underlayments. …

I wish I could give Skylar and Finished Work Roofing 10 stars because that’s the sort of fine work they do. They replaced the roofing on our 4 townhomes after the May 2022 storm, facilitating insurance funding. Later I needed a painter reference for our railings on 3 levels. The original painter did a terrible job. Skylar arranged for his painter to remedy it. Another example of excellent work. The name, “Finish Work Roofing is so appropriate because they finish the job. They do meticulous excellent work Sklyar is there for you from start to finish. AND there for you after the job. He will be my go to roofer, contractor, painter, maintenance person from now on.

Working with Skyler and his team at Finished Work Roofing was an absolute Blessing. They are kind, honest, thoughtful, and most importantly, incredibly skilled at their jobs, with an incredible team and crew. With both my roofs, there were challenges from past roofs that were not placed properly. Skyler and his wonderful team worked wonders, and have impressed everyone in town, in addition to myself, with the final results, work ethic, integrity, and thoughtfulness. The roof and other resulting projects were amazing and Skyler and his team priced his product to where it was affordable. The clean up was amazing. If you are looking for a metal roof, please call Finished Work Roofing. They are truly Blessings to homes and their owners. They go above and beyond. It was truly a Blessing to work with them.
